INDIA lost the early wicket in 4th T-20 match against South Africa. India managed a low total after 10 overs 56/3(10).Pant and Hardik Pandya is looking good to bat if they will be played well then i think they will be managed 150+ runs in total. But SA looking very well in this series. I think SA will win today match.

SA is looking too good in this T20 series though India fight back well and they have to win today's game to keep the series alive. In today's game India will definitely play in pressure as a loss today means they will lose the series. SA on the other are favorite for today's game as de kock is in good touch.

Pandya seems like the best option among the lot for now though he has to prove himself on the international stage since international and IPL matches are different in several ways.

The format is the same but the pressure will be different. He has proven that he can captain in a T20 format after this season of IPL and I think he will be able to do a better job than Panth. In the meantime India will be playing today to stay in the contention of winning the T20 series with South Africa. Last match Rishab Panth perfomance as a batter was not upto the mark. I hope he plays some good innings today.

The BCCI keeps changing captains based on their performances since none of them are as popular as Kohli, MSD etc which is why they are basically experimenting with them currently.

Pandya seems like the best option among the lot for now though he has to prove himself on the international stage since international and IPL matches are different in several ways.

I personally don't like Hardik Pandya because of his woke behavior. He clung on to the national team for a couple of years despite losing his form. I though that Venkatesh Iyer would have been a more suitable replacement. But IPL changed everything. Pandya won the trophy for his new franchise, and Venkatesh failed to secure a spot in the playing XI within his team. I guess now Pandya will not face any competition for the next 2-3 years, even if he fails to perform. As of now, for the position of pace-bowling allrounder there exists no other option. Shardul is the closest we have.

IMO there is no deep thought process in recent captaincy change because core Indian team already getting into test match mode and about to reach England. When your 1st, 2nd, 3rd captaincy candidates are playing all 3 formats then these sort of quick changes are natural, we have seen this in recent time, even Sikhar led the Indian team in the SL. These bilateral series are giving them option of testing their bench strength, changing captaincy is part of it and in doing so they are giving everyone fair chances to prove themselves and get some International experience.

That is a great team right there. Hardik Pandya seems to be in a great place these days which is why he appeared calm and composed majority of the time during the recent IPL season which is why making him the captain was a great decision.

That's clearly not enough. Pant, Rahul etc were similar cases, but they weren't great captains in the international format.

If India loses this series then maybe Rishabh Pant will not be given any chance in future. Hridik Pandya has proved his mettle in the IPL. He has won the IPL title. So finally they decided to kick out Rishabh Pant from the team? He was given so many chances and failed to make use of them. Pant is rumored to be very close to Virat Kohli and that helped obviously. Indian team are getting there gradually? They're searching, let's see. After winning third T20 against SA we had an opportunity to say regarding Pant captaincy. In third T20s kept things typical and didn't do any experiment. However, we can't forget his questionable performance so far. Indian team missing out next MSD. He was tactical mastermind, it's uncommon to see so calm, engaged and proficient player like him.

India will not have a captain like Mahendra Singh Dhoni. His personality is very calm. He could change the scene of the match at any time. Very talented player and captain. Virat Kohli was not a bad captain. However, Rishab Pant seems to be suitable for the captaincy. He is calm enough, and it looks like he will be able to properly handle the responsibility of captaining a big team like India

I have dedicated screen for cricket at my workstation. Mainly for Test cricket, all Indian fixture and The Ashes, even when i'm not watching, it always stays on only because of commentary.

I don't think if we ever going to find next Dhoni. Pant is riding his test performance run and now i starting to think that he's more destructive in Test cricket, which is weird because at start of his career he's used to be equally destructive in shorter format too.
