After watching a few matches in the IPL, I realized one thing, if the team's opener batsmen start well, and if the opening partnership is good, then the team's finisher batsmen can't play well. The way Kohli and Padikkal were playing in the first 13 overs, I thought they would be able to collect more than 170 runs effortlessly. But in the last 2 overs, Bangalore's players have collected only 6 runs. And they have given a target of only 157 runs. It is not enough. Chennai will win the match today.

It was a surprise. I thought that RCB had the best middle order for any franchise in the IPL - AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, Tim David.etc. But this middle order could add only 30-40 runs, once Padikkal and Kohli got out. Dwayne Bravo did a fantastic job, along with some of the other CSK bowlers. A good comeback from Bravo, after the ordinary season he had in 2020. CSK looks like a team that is reborn. If anyone remember what happened to them in 2020, then they'll understand what I am saying. Perhaps the decision to kick out useless players like Kedar Jadhav did the trick for them.

Is anyone watching the big match of RCB vs CSK now? CSK decided to field after winning the toss. But they could not take a single wicket of RCB in 10 overs. RCB's collection is 90 in 10 overs. If CSK bowlers can't take any wickets, I think RCB will collect more than 200 runs today. Because, even though the first two batsmen are out, they still have destructive batsmen like Maxwell and De Villiers.
Looks like a big mistake by Chennai Super Kings as Royal Challengers Bangalore is piling up runs with a century run opening partnership. My expectation was that Chennai Super Kings will win the match but by the way their middle order performed in the last match even though they won. I have no hopes for Chennai Super Kings to chase as the Royal Challengers Bangalore looks like scoring over 180 runs with they way Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikka are batting.

I think Chennai will win the match if no miracle will happen. If all the other batsmen in Bangalore could have done the same as Kohli and Padikkal did, then Bangalore could have won the match. Bangalore managed to score only 156 runs. At least 180 more were needed to win against Chennai. Chennai's batsmen are experienced. They will not have to face any problem to collect 157 runs.

35th match is happening between RCBvCSK in Sharjah!

Chennai won the toss and chose to bowl first. Padikkal and Virat have a good partnership today with a run rate of nearly nine. RCB should continue where they left off. It would be nice to see some firing knocks from Virat, Maxwell and AB de Villiers as well. Today, I hope they won't disappoint me. Both teams are my favorites, so I am sure it will be an entertaining game in Sharjah.

In yesterday's match, Kolkata showed impressive performance in both batting and bowling. De Kock and Rohit Sharma started the match very well, but later no batsman could play better. The opening pair collected 78 runs. Krishna and Russel gave a lot of runs but all the other bowlers bowled well. As a result, Mumbai gave a target of only 156 runs. Iyer and Tripathi's devastating batting helped Kolkata win by 159 runs in just 15.1 overs.

BCCI is going to face a lot of financial losses if they cannot control the Covid-19 situation in the IPL and it will lead to a lot of other problems too. Like them not being able to complete this IPL. And I haven't even talked about the worst-case scenario. Because we sure don't wanna see any player die because of COVID-19 and get blamed by the whole world that IPL was responsible for that. I think we all get the point, BCCI should be more careful and cautious and also strict about this matter.

Previously, the players were not vaccinated against COVID and in case someone got infected then there was a very high possibility that he might have required hospitalization. But now the situation has changed. Everyone is fully vaccinated and even if the player is infected then the chances of hospitalization is near zero. This is also one of the reasons why the BCCI is now more relaxed towards players testing positive for COVID inside the bubble. Anyway, they can't afford the disruption for the second time.

Yes, IPL already lost some good time due to Covid-19 now they need to complete this despite all problems because if they are going to do any cancellation or postponement then they have no window for completion and it is going to hurt very badly BCCI. For next few matches they need to go with stick policy because this pandemic still out of control even we have few good vaccines.

Anything could happen like if some more players will be tested positive that may lead to end of 2021 session completely as this year's cricket calendar will not let them to find any gap here after.
No matter how many positive cases of Covid we see in IPL, the play will go on. Seems like players and there boards are no longer interested in covid cases rather they wanna play IPL at every cost.
Latest example is match between DC and SRH, despite Thangarasu Natarajan positive case the match was not postponed.

As per my understanding, all players and officials have been vaccinated but yes, sometimes vaccines do not work too. If a player or an official is taken seriously ill then it will jeopardize the tournament and at the same time it will also tarnish the reputation of IPL. BCCI should make more stricter arrangement then what it is doing now.

Only heroes are remembered, and Kartik Tyagi was the final over hero. Kartik Tyagi's bowling effort was really impressive. But I am also convinced it was Mustafiz who won the game for the Rajasthan Royals. In two overs, 8 runs need to be scored. Punjab has eight wickets in hand then Mustafiz arrives to bowl. Mustafiz started and Tyagi finished, overall a good combination.
Of course Kartik and mustafiz combination won the match for Rajasthan royals. When eight runs within two overs having gigantic batsman Nicolas pooran but mustafiz 19 th over only 4 runs that makes the match Turing point to win.

Yep, and we all know that cricket is a game of uncertainty. Especially This damn t-20 format. All it takes is one over to turn the tide of a match. And about the Rajsthan match, I know they did a brilliant job of defending when it seemed impossible. But I think they were really lucky to get that win. That could easily have gone the other way. So luck and some really good bowling paved the way to their victory.

IPL 34th match between Mumbai Indian Vs Kolkata night riders already started and Mumbai Indian collected 11 runs costing no wickets 2.2 overs. Staying here with full match details update. I am a Kolkata night riders supporter. But what about you and your team ?
After today match Mumbai Indians lost their fourth spot in league and KKR now on with back to back second win look like this new environment is lucky for KKR as they have good wins in both matches and now have some fair chance for qualifying play off place Tripathi and Iyer both was on target for KKR as they give very good stand with respective 74 from 42 balls and 53 from 30 balls these are very good innings. For Mumbai Indians Bumrah was only wicket taker, but it's not enough as he gives some good runs 3/43 Boult and Chahar completely fail to give any impression.

Rare to see that Mumbai Indians getting defeated in two consecutive matches. I thought they could defend the target with the bowlers they have but Kolkata Knight Riders was able to to chase the score easily. I thought the match will go till the last couple of overs but Kolkata Knight Riders especially Rahul Tripathi was able to score a good pace and take the team to victory.

I don't see any reason to cancel or postpone the match due to Covid 19 in the second half. A few matches have already been completed and no other team's coronary positive has been reported.

T Natarajan has isolated himself as he test positive for Covid-19. He is presently asymptomatic. IPL health department should go with stick rule else it will reschedule again and it will cause another series cancellation. This clearly suggests that BIO bubbles is not secured anymore. Hopefully BCCI will take strict measures to guarantee strict BIO bubbles guidelines. It's my perception that, we're not a long way from another IPL cancellation or postponement.

Actually, that's going to be a bummer if the deal is going to be canceled or postponed. And somehow I think people have forgotten how deadly the Covid-19 is. If it spreads, the health of a lot of great players is going to be in danger. BCCI needs to take strict action about these things ASAP. At least if they want this IPL to continue or else a lot of people will have to bear the consequences.

ok, I will vouch for Mustafiz that he is a world-class bowler and he can easily defend a really low amount of runs even in the death overs, we have already seen him doing those things even in world cups. But when you think about the other bowler Kartik Tyagi, who bowled horribly in his first 3 overs, came to defend 4 in the last over, and did it successfully, I think we might have a problem, But for me Mustafiz is clear.

The entire match depended on Mustafiz's over. If Mustafiz had not done the 19th over properly, the match would have ended in 19 overs. Mustafiz has been able to fulfill his responsibilities properly. Asadahran has put more pressure on the batsmen by bowling. As a result, the 20th over was also under the control of Hyderabad.
