The match has been postponed by a day, because one of Indian player (Krunal Pandya) has tested positive for COVID-19. Few other Indian players will go through isolation who was in close contacts with him. Krunal Pandya had played the first T20 match. So most of the players was in touched with him. In my opinion, they should postponed this series now. There will be significant change in Indian squad if the match take place tomorrow.
Krunal Pandya tests COVID-positive; second T20I postponed by a day

Once again the question arises. How can someone get infected inside the bio-bubble? Lack of discipline seems to be a serious issue with the Asian teams. Recently we saw the example of Rishabh Pant, who went for the wimbledon match without wearing a mask. These guys think that they are super-human. But unfortunately the Corona virus doesn't know that they are so powerful. Those who breached the quarantine and bubble rules should be dealt with by the BCCI and they should take stern action to prevent the repetition of such incidents in the future.

The second T20 match between India and Srilanka will be played today. Indian bowlers did a fantastic job in the last match otherwise Srilanka would have won the match. Except for Yadav and Dhawan, all other batsmen failed to score in the last match. I am expecting other batsmen to contribute today. For the Srilankan team, it’s a must-win match.

For the younger Indian players, this is a rare opportunity to get the attention from the selectors ahead of the world cup. I hope they will make the maximum use out of it. Some of the players in Sri Lanka were transferred to England, and therefore it is likely that a few of the players will make their debut today. Sri Lankan morale would be good, after their win in the third ODI. Also, the focus will be on Rahul Dravid on how he manages the Indian team, as there are rumors that he is being considered for the coaching role.

Both these teams have good grassroots strength in women's cricket. Two decades ago, when the ICC first launched the ODI Women's world cup, these two teams used to take part. But then the ICC became more exclusionary and limited the tournament to 8 teams. Even now, the club system is quite strong in these two countries (along with Scotland). But the issue is that cricket in both Ireland and Netherlands is over-dependent on a few sporting families. The growth outside these families have stagnated during the last two decades.
Women's cricket may not be popular in Ireland and the Netherlands. People may not be very interested in women's cricket. Australian teams reign in women's cricket. All other teams, such as England, India, South Africa, are far behind from Australia. Boards need to be more focused on improving women's cricket.

I didn't claimed that the overall popularity of cricket is very good in Ireland and Netherlands. But they have a number of clubs which have been active for many decades, and the women players in these two countries play a lot of club games. Now compare the situation in Pakistan or India, where the women's game at club level is almost nonexistent. In India, most of the women's cricket (apart from state-level games) take place at college-level and school-level. And in Pakistan even that is not there.

Looking at this match, it seems that the Netherlands team lacks experienced players. Although I don’t know if they have experienced players in their team, because I don’t have much idea about women’s cricket players. If the Dutch bowlers could have held Ireland to 145, they would have had a chance to win. Moreover, the Netherlands batted very slowly in the first 6/7 overs. The run rate in power play should have been at least 6+.

I don't think 130 runs is enough to win a T20 match. Because collecting 130 runs from 120 balls is not a difficult task. If the wicket is not taken very fast then any team can collect 120-130 runs from 120 balls. In today's match too, the Netherlands collected only 22 runs in the first 6.3 overs. They managed to score 137 runs in 20 overs.

Ireland squad comprised of several experienced players, while the Netherlands sent a very young squad to Malahide. Also, their recent elevation as a test nation has secured more funding from the ICC, and that is being reflected in the women's game. Netherlands did OK with batting, but their bowling was poor. Apart from Frederique Overdijk and Eva Lynch, all the other bowlers leaked 8-9 runs per over. A decade or so ago, Netherlands was regarded as the strongest women's team among the NED-IRE-SCO. But the situation seems to be changing now.

Time has come to drop Hardik Pandya. In the ODI series, he managed to score just 19 runs, and picked up just two wickets in two matches.
Agreed. He has been out of form for quite sometime now. He should be given more chances in the future though since he is a high quality finisher and picks up wickets now and then.

But second t20 match which country would be winner please mention your comments.
I would be shocked if Sri Lanka actually manage to win the 2nd T-20 since some of the Indian batsmen actually under-performed in the 1st one. I don't think that will repeat in the 2nd one.

Sri Lanka threw away golden opportunities in both the ODI and T-20 series basically so far.
Actually India lost third odi match because Indian team given five batsman opportunity as a fresh batsman. If indian team management can't change their squad , they have to lost their match.

There is no cricket match today except the Ireland women's vs Netherlands women's team match, so i'm enjoing this match now. Although I am not very interested in women's cricket. The Netherlands women’s team won the toss and they decided to field. At the end of 15 overs, the Irish women's team lost 4 wickets for 110 runs. I think if they can collect 160 runs, it will be enough to win.

Women's cricket is not like the men's game. On average, totals of 120-130 are enough to win the match. 160 is like huge, and I don't think that the Netherlands has any chance of chasing such a total. And they are struggling now. After 6.3 overs, Netherlands is struggling at 22/1. Anyway, I was expecting this result. On paper both the teams are of equal strength. But this time Ireland had the home advantage, and the Netherlands sent a very inexperienced side. Only one player is aged above 25 (Miranda Veringmeier) in the Dutch playing XI, and there are several teenagers.

I checked the scoreboard of this match. As you expected, the Irish team was able to collect 160 runs. The Netherlands played 6 overs and scored 20 runs for the loss of 1 wicket. They need 141 runs in 14 overs. It looks like the Irish team will win today.

I do like his batting style and guess we all can agree that he's one of the destructive hitter in the T-20 arena but most of time he fails to perform according to his reputation, still management has huge hope on him for the right reasons because he's genuine match winner with the bat. Although i'm not fan of his bowling and i would be very happy if his selection in the team is based on batting instead of half baked all rounder theory and if he can give few overs then its a plus as part timer bowler.
Hardik Pandya is not used as a bowler for a long time because he was not fit enough to ball even in T20 and after a long time he is bowling and it dead wickets we cannot expect him to ball well after a long time, i like his aggressive batting style and with a small frame he is able to clear the boundary but he is struggling throughout the series and since India have a long list of young talents waiting for the opportunity Pandya needs to give way until he regains his form.

A player can't be given unlimited number of chances, just because the selectors favor him. There is an oversupply of talent within India, and giving unlimited chances to a player such as Hardik Pandya is unfair to the other young aspirants. Anyway, I am also not in favor of immediately dropping him from the squad. Apart from the T20I series, the IPL is also in the horizon. Let's see how he performs for the Mumbai Indians in UAE/Oman. If his performance is satisfactory, then I don't have any issue with giving Hardik a permanent slot on the T20 playing XI.
