India have dominated the T20 series against New Zealand so far, I get the feeling that New Zealand have lost their edge after returning home from Australia after a poor test series. It seems to me that New Zealand have lost their way and need to get back that winning mentality.

Lol Yeah, minimum boundaries needs to be at least 65 meter. otherwise its joke for batsmen and nightmare for Bowlers.
Considering the short boundaries situation in this ground, we must admire the Indian bowlers and give them full credit that they restricted Kiwis batsmen easily, Twice.

Top edges were flying for sixes but Jadeja bowled well in a small pitch which is outstanding and if he can bowl a tight line and length in small pitches in New Zealand then he will be the main spinner for India in the upcoming T20 World Cup as the Australian pitches are really huge and he can hold one end and he is a complete all rounder for India as he chips in with his bat and a brilliant fielder. The way Indian team is playing, it is very easy for them to win another away series with good margin. I do not see any bis resistance form the NewZealand team. After the recent perform against the Australians, everyone was expecting Indian to perform good in the NZ tour and they have proved it too.

I was expecting the match to go like till last over and the way NZ team played first T20 it was expected that they would atleast give tough fight. But this game was just one sided where NZ bowlers were just off target today. Indian bowlers Shami, Jadeja and Bumrah spell was terrific and rest batsman managed to win the game for the team easily.
When i saw the start New Zealand got i thought they will post a huge total but then the bowlers bowled really good line and length and started picking up wickets in quick succession and won the match with ease and if New Zealand is not able to win the next match then the series belongs to India and then the rest of the matches they might experiment with the bench strength.

It is always possible for them to make a come back but this is T20 cricket and India have some wonderful bowlers and it is not easy to score runs against them especially Jasprit Bumrah and they have some quality spinners and now the opposition will be forced to charge the next two bowlers and in that Mohammed Shami can trouble you with the pace and length. New Zealand top order needs to perform well and chasing the total would be fine as India does chase totals with the batting line up they have as the youngsters will also step up their game if given the opportunity. I thought it was a batting pitch but this wicket was difficult to bat on as the wicket was gripping and turning and not coming on to the bat and so is the reason the New Zealand batsman were unable to capitalize on the start they got when India started mixing up deliveries. Another comfortable win for India and i am not expecting any changes in the team in this series .

As expected, another comprehensive victory by India and their 1st T20 series win in NZ. Nothing surprising at all considering how badly New Zealand is performing these days.
Yes, I did watch the match and I still believe in what I wrote. There is problem with the middle order and you cannot deny that. Did you forget Rohit Sharma's out? except Rahul who else scored half century. Go and watch the highlights and then you will understand the word quick intervals.

Yes for the first time after so long i am watching 3rd wicket partnership without Kohli and both of these are batting so nicely.
Yeah, I am a fan of Iyer's batting in T20 and find him more stable as a batsman than Rohit now. He managed the earlier T20 and now this one too and he doesn't take much risks when not needed. Glad to have and see some dependable batsmen now.
I feel Rahul will get the MoM this time but even Jadeja bowled well with the best economy.

Yeah if we reach until dube then I think we need to replace someone from the top order. Because if you number 5-6 is coming onto bat when target is merely 133 then maybe you need to replace your number 3 & 4
India doesn't have much options for 3 and 4 and right now Kohli and Iyer are doing fine as Pant was not performing good earlier being at that position. Hardik is not missed due to this reason.
Now we are at 86 runs with Kohli gone for 11. Just 47 runs more with 8 wickets which they can get without losing any wicket.
