It can be a good decision because RR might not be able to get a competitive score on the scoreboard. The second match is between DC and Punjab and the chance of DC wining it is very high.

I don't know what happened to the CSK, and it would have been devastating for them to lose the match, despite putting up such a huge total. But there was not much Dhoni could do, with Pollard going absolutely insane. Apart from Sam Curran, all of the CSK bowlers failed in the final overs. Perhaps Dhoni could have kept Deepak Chahar for one over in the end, rather than bowling him out. But I don't know whether he could have made a difference.

The odds for Mumbai to win was above 4 even when the openers were batting well and i thought about placing a bet on CSK but the odds were not that great and hence i backed out and thinking now i was lucky that i did not place a bet and i never thought that Mumbai could win the match as they always struggle to put runs on the board this season but they changed everything in this game and this was by far the best match this season. Pollard is being really a nightmare for CSK for more than a decade now and still he wins the matches against them, its a complete entertainer at the end because the match went till the last ball, I am worried when faf dropped that pollard's catch which can win the match for CSK. Anyway CSK is still at the first position at the end of half of the tournament but I expect the change in those order in the coming days due to the change of venues.

The mammoth totally is being stolen by the mammoth Kieron Pollard. Look at his confidence at the end over, he waited for the right ball. Also end over should've been bowled better by Lungi Ngidi. The first ball is a dot as Pollard didn't run. Second ball is a good yorker and it went for four, rest all were fulltoss. He took those balls easier. The pressure over the bowler were clearly felt in this innings.

MSD picked Lungi Ngidi to bowl the last over and it was a disaster as he was giving full toss after full toss and Kieron Pollard accepted them without hesitation and he took Mumbai to victory. This was one of the best chases i have seen in a long time and there were some dropped catches as well during crucial situations as Kieron Pollard got a life which was disaster for Chennai.
Sam Curran bowled an outstanding over as he gave away just 2 runs and took the wicket of Krunal Pandya and Mumbai still need 48 runs from the last 3 overs and they need to smash every ball and the match is really interesting at this point. I thought Chennai would win easily as Mumbai was struggling with the bat in the early part of the tournament but the pitch looks like it is helping the batsman, it all depends upon how Dhoni picks the bowlers to bowl the last three overs.
Now the crease has two completely new batsmen Pollard and Pandya. They are enough experienced, but it is too much difficult to score 125 runs from 48 balls.
I thought it will be an impossible task but Kieron Pollard in smashing everyone and he is striking at over 280 and if he is in the crease for the next two overs then it is possible for Mumbai to chase the score. LOL.. I just hope that this defeat doesn't start a new trend for them. The captaincy was very poor. Harshal Patel had proved very expensive during the end overs in the previous matches and still Kohli asked him to bowl two out of the last three overs. And he conceded an eye-watering 40 runs from those two overs. And this was despite Kyle Jamieson having one over left. Even Mohammed Siraj bowled only 3 overs, and had one over left. I don't know what was going on in Kohli's mind at this point. Else Punjab Kings would have got restricted to somewhere around 150.
