CSK needs serious introspection and they need to take some tough decisions. Deadweight needs to be removed and I would be happy if they start with Kedar Jadhav. Irrespective of the experience and closeness to the top people, non-performing players needs to be kicked out and young blood needs to be brought in. I am not sure about Suresh Raina. It looks to me that the relationship between him and CSK management is permanently ruined. In that case, he may be moving to another franchise, and it is going to be a big loss for the CSK.

Yes they have made it clear that MS Dhoni would play and lead the next IPL as well. I don't think the average age is a major problem for any team. With the pandemic and short and limited preparation almost all of the teams and individuals failed to get set to their natural form. As well the teams are not as used to to the cricket fields they are playing in. CSK seems to catching some of it but it's too late.

Rather than good batting from the RR players, it was poor bowling from the Mumbai Indians which shifted the momentum in favor of the former. They have great bowlers such as Bumrah and Boult. But the problem with them is that they are not consistent. Boult got 4 wickets in the previous match, and he was looking quite average in this one. And the lack of a quality spinner is hurting MI. They need someone like Chahal of RCB or Ashwin of DC.

So it will be some kind of record for Kieron Pollard to win 15 consecutive matches as a captain and they should have won the match if not for the performance by Ben Stokes and this is the first time he scored something meaningful for the team and the series is getting tougher and the every team is battling out to get a spot in the semifinals.

Unfortunately Bumrah also was not spared today and went for 38runs . It was Stokes century and Samson 54 superb batting that build a good partnership and made it look easy chasing this huge score and won comfortably in the end by 8 wickets . From last couple of days match is swinging for the team which in start does not seems may win , but in the end result is different.

RR needs 90 runs from 51 balls which is definitely achievable in IPL and Ben stoke scored his 50 after 20+ matches, importantly he is scoring at very good rate.Job buttler,tewatia,Parag and Archer is yet to come so they got deep batting lineup so yes the Match on for RR at the moment.

Now it is up to Stokes, Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler. If these three fail, then it won't be practical to expect Rahul Tewatia to rescue them this time as well. The required run rate is more than 10 runs per over, and scoring at that rate in Abu Dhabi is going to be a tough challenge.

You are right. We've been watching a weird match for a while now. Have you seen the match of MI vs RR now? At the end of 13 overs, MI lost 4 wickets and scored 101 runs. But after 20 overs, they scored 195 runs. Hardik Pandya played an incredible innings of 60 off 21 balls, he hit 7 sixes. I bet on MI Grin
