Today all the hopes of CSK progressing further in the tournament will end. When the tournament started, i was favoring this team but they proved to be one of the weakest team of the tournament. Ms Dhoni did not gained any batting form in the tournament and this also effected on the team moral. I am of the point of view that that CSK should change their captain for the next season.

CSK's has horror start, this is embarrassing now for CSK. I have sympathy for MSD and Chennai Super Kings since there's no hope left this season for CSK's is getting any better. You're right, there's no chances CSK can still qualify. Another lowest possible score on loading.

CSK - 114/9 in 20 overs. This is the lowest total of Chennai in this season and not at all the winning score against MI for sure. Dhoni would be disappointed with this season and the way his team has played. Also, one thing the fans would be disappointed is due to Covid T20 WC got postponed and finally Dhoni ~~resigned~~ retired and this I think might be the last season before Dhoni calls off from IPL as well. So not able to make it to play off will hurt him for sure.

MI got a flying start with 26/0 in 3.1 overs. Edit :- MI won comfortably with 10 wickets remaining.

CSK will be out now after losing this match. Miserable performance from all the players. I don't think they can quality at all now after today's loss. 115 as a target with losing 9 wickets. It shouldn't take more than 14-15 overs to chase down these runs. Glad I bet on MI today.

I doubt CSK has the ability to win today's match, if we look back to their consistent defeat. Of course you never know cricket is always unpredictable.

As per the point table MI are the second best team in this IPL season and CSK is the worst team till date therefore I am also confident that MI will win today.

A few days back there was news in some of the major media outlets that CSK would not ask for a replacement. In that case, they may just include Josh Hazlewood in his place. Kedar Jadhav is useless. I don't know why this guy is not thrown out of the squad yet. Younger players such as Narayan Jagadeesan and Ruturaj Gaikwad may be inexperienced, but they deserve a couple of outings.

Before this season there was lots of chit chat about mid season players transfer system and I guess every franchise already gave a nod to this idea, what happen to that. It could have helped every one, right?

10-15 runs could have made the difference. 160 is a par score in Dubai and 170 could have given them the advantage. They were 110 after 15 overs and in normal circumstances they could have made another 60 runs in the next 5 overs. But then Smith could not score runs as fast as he could have liked, and Buttler was a complete failure in this match. I still believe they could have sent in Parag or Tewatia after Stokes got out.
