I believe that now it is too late for the Kings XI Punjab. They have lost too many matches in the initial stages (some of which they could have won easily), and now it will be difficult to make up for that. They need to win all of their remaining matches. As of now, they have won 3 matches in a row. Can they make it to 7? I think that would be a new record in the IPL.

Not sure about the new record but MI done similar kind of bounceback and entered into playoffs in the past and for KXIP still it is pretty much possible and also they found their combination in the middle of the season so they still got 4 matches and need to win 3 out of the 4 to seal a spot in the top 4.Net run rate also will play of more teams got the same points.

In this edition of the IPL, the younger Indian batsmen had a great start, irrespective of the franchises. But now it looks like they are having a meltdown. This is applicable for Shubman Gill/Rahul Tripathi/Nitish Rana of KKR, Prithvi Shaw/Shreyas Iyer of DC, Sanju Samson of RR, and Ishan Kishan/SuryaKumar Yadav of MI. I think the only one who is performing right now is Devdutt Padikkal of RCB.

KKR team looks out of touch because their star players didn't posted good performance for their team in this season so they didn't get the momentum going even if they win matches.KKR bowling unit looks stronger but their batting line up looks weaker even after having lot of experienced player in the playing XI.

The Covid bubble can be a reason for their performance but the main reason i see is that their big players have not delivered, they still are not settled with the proper team combination and they only included Lockie Ferguson in the last match and he showed his class and helped the team win the match. If they can pick the best combination then they will perform as a team as they have the talents.

It depends upon the match and the pitch situation, i never expected Mohammed Siraj would bowl the spell of his life time as i have seen him taken for runs in the matches he played and in this match when he was hitting good pace and getting the seam movements i was astonished to be frank and if he could continue the same level of intensity then he will be a regular pick.

KKR scored only 68 runs and lost 7 wickets, now they got only two overs remaining to put some total to defend the opponents. Yes it is the day for RCB and they had great chance to increase their NRR so they can be in a comfortable position after winning these matches.

What a bowling performance of Sairaj picking him today in match and delivering to his team with crucial 3 wickets out of 4 .

Karthik and Morgan if they can build a partnership of even 50 - 70 runs from here they would atleast be able to score decent runs on board though it may not be a winning score but something for bowlers to bowl at.

I had high hopes on Mahendra Singh Dhoni as a captain and a finisher to win some matches that they were poised to win and they failed to do that in multiple occasions and then the team selection was a blunder.

Kolkata Knight Riders is playing without Andre Russel and they are struggling as they lost three quick wickets and with Tom Banton in the team they did not ask him to open the innings that is strange as their usual openers were struggling and he is still in the crease and Banton needs to deliver big for them to have a decent score to defend and they have Pat Cummins and Lockie Ferguson to trouble the RCB players but for that they need a good total on board.
