Aaron Finch and David Warner are in good mood, today they are not discriminating any Protea's bowler. Everyone taking a beating one by one Grin

10 overs / 114 runs ---- 11.4 run rate.... looking sweet!

Edit : Warner gone.

Edit : 2 more wickets gone including Finchy. SA fighting back now.

Absolutely both opening batsman of OZ look in aggressive manner and this helped the team as the net run rate was always good for the team from beginning and strong foundation helped later on . Chasing 194 runs , SA are 23/2 in 2.5 overs .

Very bad game of cricket by David Warner. I still can't believe what he did. He came in top-order, remained not-out, and couldn't get the team to the small target. This is beyond pathetic. Should he even be included in the Australian squad of the T20i world cup? I don't think so. Roll Eyes
You really cannot blame Warner for the defeat, South Africa bowled really well in the later part of the innings and you need to give credits to that kind of performance to win the match from behind and considering the start they got i thought they would win the match easily but it was the other way around and i lost my bet as i never expected South Africa to bounce back like that.

Players need to share the blame for the defeat and Warner is not free from criticism. It was a match that Australia could have won, with enough wickets in hand and just 32 needed of the last 4 overs. But as usual, the Australian lower order failed (Carey/Wade/Agar.etc). Warner could have done more, by keeping himself at the strike, rather than putting the pressure on the newly arrived batsmen.

The Australian team has got solid start from the openers  and I never expected that Australia going to lose the match.and it happened due to some quick wickets loss for them,  but I have the hopes because Warner still there, finally he also can not done anything so next match will more interesting because of final T20 let's see who will going to win the T20 series.

The Australian lower order looked very weak. Matthew Wade failed once again.. and I wasn't expecting much from him. I would have liked if the Australians sent Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins ahead of Ashton Agar, because these two are big hitters.
Australia had a target of 20 runs required from 12 balls and in the 18th over they just scored 5 runs and lost a wicket and in the 19th over they scored just 3 runs and lost another wicket and in the last over South Africa just conceded just 4 runs, it is a great come back by South Africa to level the series and i lost some money because of this stupid performance by Australia Undecided.
Today we have good comeback by South Africa even target was not good enough but good and disciplined bowling help South Africa as they fight back in this series Negidi completely destroy Australian batting line up so Warner alone not able to do for team even he is one of most attractive batsman in twenty/20 but still today South Africa was much better and eager for win.

@BitSat19 no one could have anticipated that Australia would loose this match especially with Warner and Smith starting for them, but it seems to me that having the best players in the world is not enough if they can’t execute their team plans. It’s also pertinent to note that South Africa perfectly executed their team plan, and didn’t give up on this match till the very end and were rightfully rewarded for their consistency.

Wow. Good comeback by SA. At one point AUS needed 27 runs from 20 balls and they ended up scoring only 14 runs out of the 20 balls. Exceptional bowling from Nigidi and Rabada. Didn't expect SA to win by 12 runs when Warner was still in crease.

As of now, Matthew Wade is a liability for Australia.

How often this has happened that Warner is not out and still OZ has not won the game and also the run rate was below 8 in the beginning of the OZ innings. Containing Warner itself is the biggest achievement of SA and this resulted in their win. SA came back in the series with the win and now series is 1-1 and 3rd and final match would be decider.

BTW, lets just focus on the current match. Two overs remaining and Australia need another 20 runs (it was 25 from 3 overs, but Ngidi conceded only 5 runs in the 18th over). Warner is still there... along with Wade.
Warner is the key between an Australian win or South Africa as Australia need 17 runs from 6 balls and Warner is now on the non striker end and the match is on the line and it is really disappointing for Australia as i was expecting an easy win but South Africa just turned everything in the last 4 overs and now they have picked another wicket Shocked.
16 runs from 4 balls now it is an impossible task and i would have gone with South Africa to win as the odds were over 5 and i did not expect this turn over Grin.

What is there to LOL about?

How were you able to determine he is a medicore baller? Have you watched him play in any earlier international matches cause if he has not been seen by the SA team earlier then he cannot be classified as an average spinner. They might have not studied him.

Further an average spinner cannot take 5 wickets in a fluke while playing as a debutant. What this guy does today will be interesting to watch.

This is not the first time that Ashton Agar is representing Australia and I was just pointing out that he doesn't have any noticeable performances to date. He is noway near Nathan Lyon or even Zampa.

one good over could change a match but i already placed a bet for Australia to win the match and hopefully Australia will win this one.
South Africa is bowling really well especially Ngidi and Rabada in the final overs and they are frustrating the Australian batsman with dot balls and they are really mixing up the deliveries and they need 21 runs from 14 balls.
South Africa just took a blinder of a catch to dismiss Marsh, F du Plessis and Miller combination to take one of the best catches in cricket.

Edit:
Another wicket gone for Australia, things are getting tight and Warner is not getting strike, still need 20 off 10 balls.

Australia is chasing a score of 158 runs and South Africa is bowling well in the later part even though they are not able to pick up wickets and now Australia need 26 runs of the final 3 overs and the positive aspect for Australia is that they still have wickets in hand and Warner is still in the crease and one good over could change a match but i already placed a bet for Australia to win the match and hopefully Australia will win this one.

Ashton agar nailed it 5 wickets for 24. He is the main reason why SA could not even pass the 100 run score. Disappointing to see the whole middle order getting wiped out. It was just one sided match.

LOL.. A mediocre spinner such as Ashton Agar could destroy South Africa. That says a lot about the quality of their batting lineup. And their playing XI had star players such as Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis and David Miller.

BTW... the second match has started and this time South Africa is batting first. I don't have any faith in any South African batsmen other than de Kock. If they can build a total of 160+, then there is a chance for them.

At the same time, the South African Women's team is playing against the Australian women, at the Women's T20 World Cup.

Really poor start to this series as losing the top and middle order batsman so easily means their is no coordination and no discipline of batsman to stay on the pitch. OZ have just nailed this match as SA still require 122 runs in 51 balls and only 3 wicket left . Now only thing SA could do is play full 20 overs and make as much runs as possible.
South Africa is not in the greatest of form and i was expecting this to happen but they were struggling to make runs on the board let alone be competitive and that is what surprised me, Australia is in good form and they are continuing their form in this series and i am expecting a white wash from Australia if not we must see a miracle from South Africa if they are to win a match against a strong Australian team.
In recent years they have many on and off field issues which are hurting them and they will hurt them as well because they are not doing any thing for settling things quota system and too much inference from politicians killing merit system they will more down in coming days if they have solution of this all.

South Africa disappointed yesterday by scoring only 89 runs. They showed the poor performance and lost the match in  South Africa (Johannesburg), which is even more embracing. On the other hand, Australia captain Aaron Finch was very happy with his team performance and I am sure they will be seeing to white wash the series if SA continues to play the same poor cricket.

Total disappointment from SA team as they could not even manage to first score 100 runs also and secondly could not even bat for 20 overs. It was a one-sided match and OZ won by a huge margin of 107 runs. Agar magical spell of 5/24 just rattled the SA batting and they were in no point in the content of winning the match right from the way they started their innings.
