Today is Srilanka Legends vs India Legends. It will be a cool match. Both the teams have won their last match. It's great to see players like Sachin, Sehwag, Marvan Atapattu is playing. You can watch the matches on youtube too.
Does anyone have any link where I can see the live?
Earlier I have checked the players in ESPN and this reminds the old times. Imagine we are watching Sachin is batting and Murali is bowling. I feel goosebumps lol

I believe we are going to see WIPL soon, Ganguly doing some good and he must be thinking about this as well.

They have given evasive replies about the WIPL, and most of the BCCI officials remain against it. You need to remember that when it comes to money, BCCI is one of the greediest boards in the world. They had a golden opportunity to start the WIPL this year, along with the men's tournament. But the officials were reluctant and they tried to evade criticism by claiming that they "may plan" a women's tournament by 2022 or 2023. This was similar to the delaying tactics played by BCCI and ICC, a few years back to prevent cricket being included in the Olympics.

Yeah, big reason. Time has come, BCCI should take necessary steps in this regard, if not then start lobbying for Women cricketer in foreign league. so far only 3-4 players featured in WBBL  and KSL.

WBBL/KSL have limited slots available for overseas players, which means that the younger and emerging players will be left without a chance to play in these leagues. BCCI is a very rich body and there is no dearth of sponsors in India for cricket. Even most of the state boards have their own franchise T20 leagues, such as the Karnataka Premier League, Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) and T20 Mumbai League.

I took a break from "watching cricket" after the NZ Tour, I was processing the humiliation lol.

Well there were humiliation in women WC final too. I checked the score yesterday lol

In my perspective; Women cricket didn't reached that level where i feel humiliation, no matter how badly they lose Grin Bit disappointing for girls, that's it. they did play well in tournament and outplayed by the Aussie in the finals.

some part of Road Safety World Series just to enjoy Sachin,Sehwag, Lara, Brett Lee, Muralitharan appearance.
I had no idea of such matches were coming and already gone ?

Feeling bad because this was their chance to get it done but still proud of them as they played brilliantly throughout the tournament ( Expect the most important match though) .
Good to see the support for the women team, everyone rallying behind them for right reasons. Men's team feeling jealy-jealy  Grin

~snip~

One of the reasons why I wanted them to win was to show that in India its not everything about Men's cricket and Women's cricket deserves same kind of attention too . Although they lost , they got nation-wide applause for getting into the finals and nobody is too angry on them for losing in the finals ( If it was Indian Men's team , everyone would have lost their mind ).

Definitely it’s a very big achievement for Indian to enter the finals and the beat would have being to won it . But nevertheless it shows that India is one of the top teams and still has a lot of scope to grow and with right attitude and support they can reach new levels . Today Gavaskar has said to BCCI that they should start woman IPL type matches which will give them a good exposure .

What I learned is that this Zimbabwe teams bowling attak is very poor. So Bangladeshi batsmen are taking advantages of it. Zimbabwe are 9 down now and in any moment they will lose it too lol.

Of course against a good bowling attack we will see a different Bangladesh :-p

I am bored  and watching this match. It seems Bangladesh is in the driving seat. Poor Zimbabwe bowlers were beaten by Bangladeshi top orders and now the Bangladeshi bowlers are bowling good too.

Liton - 59, Saumya – 62, Tamim – 41 helped the team to reach 200/3 in 20 overs . In response Zim started poorly and had lost already 7 wickets for a score of 107 in 14 overs. They still require 88 runs in 32 balls. Zimbabwe team need to come up with a plan and try to score as much close as possible against Bangladesh because once they start competing with OZ, SA, England they would stand nowhere  to this best teams.

1st  T20 between Zim and Bangladesh has begun. Zimbabwe has decided to field first and Bangladesh ahs started very well and are 97/1 in 11.4 overs.  Liton continues has past form and batting at 51 in just 33 balls. Bangladesh is set to make 200+ if Liton continues to bat for longer time and with remaining wickets in hand they can easily target the remaining overs from now on.

The Indian women's team performed well beyond everyone's expectations. India may be among one of the super-powers in the men's cricket. But women's cricket in India lack even a single professional league inside the country. In Australia they have the WBBL, which is regarded as the top competition among the women. In England also, they have a similar league. I don't know why the BCCI is not starting a WIPL, despite having tons of cash in their accounts.

Have Fun )@@( Stay Safe
The toss loss was the first strike , the Australian openers just didn't give any time for the bowlers . Feeling bad because this was their chance to get it done but still proud of them as they played brilliantly throughout the tournament ( Expect the most important match though) .
The Australian openers gave them a really good start and they played like the champions and Alyssa Healy was in exceptional touch in the final and she is easily clearing the boundaries and after seeing the performance i found that she is the wife of Mitchell Starc and Ian Healy is her uncle and that class was evident in her performance. India played really well till the finals but Australia dominated the finals with the ball and the bat.

Well played Australia!!

India is new choker in the international cricket. Feel bad for women's team, it's second time they lost the world cup final. First against the England and now against the Australia.

I think the Women's T20 final has been very entertaining with a great batting performance by Australia, that was one of the best batting performances I've seen in a while in a final. It reminds me of the 2003 world cup final between Australia and India and it is looking like Australia will win unless the Indian middle order can make a big partnership.

The overall tournament was interesting one but the final was not very entertaining and it was one sided game. I did expected that Indians girls should have shown some sort of fight, but it was not to be. Anyways Indians should be happy as they have made it to the final alteast, which is also an honor for them.

Definitely the way India has reached final beating some of the world best team the final was just not on the mark. It was a complete one-sided match which proved why the OZ are the 5 times World Champion and continue to remain the same. India just could not even bat complete 20 overs nor they could even make 100 runs in final. India would upset because in league match they had beaten OZ and would have expected the match atleast to be closed.
