BCCI have announced squad for new zealand tour of India۔ There is big development as both Rohit and Kohli are dropped from T20 squad. It's mainly because of India defeat against England in semi final of T20 WC. BCCI has now decided to give place to some new young talent as these players are failing consistently.
The 42nd Match of Big Bash League has started today. In today's match Hobart Hurricanes vs Sydney Thunder these two teams have come to the field to play. Batting first, Sydney Thunder scored 135 runs in 20 overs. Sydney Thunder batsman could not score much runs. But now to bat. Hobart Hurricanes fielded for 84 runs in 6 overs and Hobart Hurricanes lost 3 wickets.
A tough match between Hobart Hurricanes vs Sydney Thunder was made easy by Tim David of Hobart Hurricanes who remained unbeaten on 51 off 28 balls. Sydney Thunder set a target of 135 runs in this match. Although their batting looked like it would be difficult for the batsmen to score runs on this pitch but Hobart Hurricanes didn't seem that way. The ongoing ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup 2022/23 has witnessed a rare incident. Yesterday there was a match between the UAE U-19 women's team and the Scotland U-19 women's team. All the 11 players in the UAE team were Indian citizens. I believe that this is the first time in the history of ICC that all the players in one of the "national" teams is represented by another nation. Also, all the 11 players in the US team (in the match against Sri Lanka) were of Indian origin, but a majority of them were citizens of the United States.
LOL! The complete team for both these countries are of Indian origin. I can understand about US but UAE should have gone for players from other countries like Pakistan l, Srilanka, Bangladesh or from UK, SA & AUS. When they are buying players from the market they should have diversified it. I guess the coach and the team management might be also of Indian origin or BCCI might have some kind of contract of supplying players to the UAE board.
Team captain Shakib Al Hasan played the highest run innings in the team. He managed to score 81 runs off just 45 balls where he hit eight fours and four sixes. Shakib Al Hasan's innings of 81 runs with the bat was really worth watching.
Barisal Fortune defeated Comilla Victorians by 12 runs in tomorrow's BPL T20 match between Barisal Fortune and Comilla Victorians. Shakib Al Hasan, one of the best players of the Bangladesh national team and the captain of Fortune Barisal, has complete authority in this match. Shakib Al Hasan's impeccable innings of 81 runs off 45 balls made Barisal's run target a little bigger. On the other hand, Comilla Victorians played brilliantly and due to some wrong decisions by the umpires, Comilla Victorians lost yesterday's match.

Ireland cricket team has been able to meet this target very easily. Ireland played very well in this match. The runs that Zimbabwe scored in the match were the right runs to win. But Zimbabwe's bowling line was very weak due to which Zimbabwe lost this match. Ireland did well in both bowling and batting. Due to which Ireland won the match very easily. But if Zimbabwe in the match Ireland would not have won this match so easily if the ball could have done better.Zimbabwe was not economical at all in this match. They conceded a lot. That is why even though they scored a good amount of runs in the first innings, they were not able to defend that at all. In the end, I am going to say that it was quite easy for Ireland to win. Adair played really good innings. Honestly, I think if the Zimbabwe bowlers could be a little economical, they could win the match.
Now the series is tied 1-1. The next match is going to be the decider. I actually want to see Ireland win the next match. But obviously, Zimbabwe is going to be ready for the next match. They will also learn from their mistakes.

Zimbabwe scored 144 runs with the major contribution coming from Kaia and Ervine. Further Burl, Williams and Evans made double digit score. Looked like an easy target, but Ireland won the match at the final over by 5 wickets and 2 balls left. Balbirnie and Adair gave good start and the same is carried forward by Tector. Campher and Dockrell ended the match with their contribution of 6 and 15 runs.

I was checking for sports odds and stumbled upon U19 Women's World Cup between Australia and Bangladesh and the odds were favoring heavily on Australia and i placed a bet for fun on Bangladesh as the odds were appealing above 11. Long behold since i placed the bet i started watching the match and Bangladesh have some really good players in their U19 set up and they literally won the match and it is definitely a major upset considering the odds 
.
I think bookmakers won't underestimate Bangladesh U19 Women's team in the upcoming matches. You should be happy as you won the bet by placing it on Bangladesh. I believe that you hadn't placed a big bet on Bangladesh as the odds was really high and you did it just for fun. Still the 11× odds is pretty good enough to make a decent profit from small bet amount. .

Today's T20I match between Ireland vs Zimbabwe has been incredible which is beyond imagination. It is like a mysterious incident that Ireland could not stand in front of Zimbabwe. The team was under a lot of pressure after losing all the wickets before they could finish the entire match. The Ireland team scored 114 runs and the game seemed to be a mystery to football lovers. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe managed to win this match by 4 wickets. And the victory went to Zimbabwe before they finished their entire match.
I wanna congratulation to Ireland team for this come back and I hope they will hold this performance till the last match of this series.
I don't understand how come Shafali Verma is playing in the u19 WC. I know she's 18 but IMO it's really not fair to opponents.
She already made her debut in international cricket and ranks 6th in the T-20 format. Today she smashed 45 in just 16 balls and just checked the highlights, it looked like she was playing a video game on easy mode.

I think in the end Chattogram won the match quite easily. The economy of the bowlers from Dhaka was not good enough in the end.
Today we have first match of the ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup in South Africa where minor's Bangladesh done the biggest upset and beat mighty Australians by seven wickets and 12 balls left in the match surely one of the best achievement for the Bangladesh as things looking positive for them in women's game because this can bring good change for them in women's cricket after winning toss Australia bats first and scored 130 in their 20 overs Claire Moore was top scorer with his 52 runs on 51 balls while Marufa Akhtar and Disha Biswas both takes two wickets each for the Bangladesh.
In reply, Bangladesh batting was surely amazing even they lost first wicket on duck but after this early lost Afia Prottasha and Dilara Akter have good partnership which give them good momentum and after this Shorna Akter and Sumaiya Akter end this all in style which is good start for them in this world cup.

The Bangladesh women's under-19 team played really well in this match against Australia women's under-19 team. It was a really tough task to beat a team like Australia. I think we can say that Bangladesh's women's under-19 team is going to be the future team of Bangladesh women's cricket. The future looks really good for Bangladesh women's team. It is obviously a big achievement for them to beat a strong team like Australia.
But I have to say one thing. That transition of Bangladesh under 19 team players to the senior team is not very good. We also saw that Bangladesh men's team winning the under-19 world cup. But most of the players did not make it to the senior team of Bangladesh. That transition needs to be better.

8 of the IPL franchises have expressed their interest in having WIPL teams, as per the communication from the BCCI. Sealed bids will be opened by January 25 and by then we will get to know who have won the franchises. The bidding process is not very transparent this time, as the BCCI has said that they are not "obliged to accept highest monetary offer". The tournament will be conducted in March 2023, with 5 to 6 teams participating. The bids for WIPL media rights will be known by January 16.
To my surprise one of the famous franchise missing from this action. Royal Challenge Bangalore, at some stage very same franchise used to advocate mixed cricket teams.
I hope that MI, CSK, KKR, DC should get each as they will surely do something about women's cricket.
