The second T20 match between these two countries will be played today. India won the last match due to impressive bowling and fielding but they are struggling will the batting. I hope today they work on their weakness. Pathetic performance by Sanju Samson dropped an easy catch and did not even bat well. If he continues like this then he might get dropped permanently. Subhman Gill's debut match was a disaster. If he wants to permanent his berth in the T20 squad he needs to play big innings. I have a feeling that they both get dropped in today's match.

Srilanka losing an easy match earlier would have realised that they need to work a lot on their batting. They also need batters who can start a partnership rather than going after the bowlers. If they lose today they would lose the series. I am expecting another close encounter between these two today.

I agree with you. Indians bowled well, but they were very lucky. And so they won. The pitch was not bowling-friendly. The batsmen could easily score runs. Before the start of the match, my guess was that we would see at least 180-plus runs. But they scored only 162 runs. Still they won.

In the second match as well, India is likely to continue the winning streak. But the batsmen must bat more carefully. Sri Lanka is in good form. If India is not able to give a big target in the next match too then they will not be able to win.

Sri Lanka lost their match in last three balls because while they have eight runs from first three balls things looking easy, but sadly they are unable to take advantage and cool Indians keep their nerve which helps them for having this thrilling win and lead in this series.

India players outstanding yesterday, they have proved that thier new team is going to add victories for their country . First batting their middle order surprised everyone by good batting and than balling side gave tough time to Sirlanka. Although Sirlanka tried hard to chase the score but wickets were not in their control that went wrong with them.

The match between Perth and Sydney is going on right now. Perth is not performing well at all. They have collected 69 runs for the loss of five wickets in 13 overs.
That is obviously not good enough for them. And if they do not get it big total, I do not think that Sydney is going to have any trouble winning.
Especially how the tournament has recently turned out to be high scoring.

The match ended in a no result because of rain. Brisbane Heat put on 147 runs for only six wickets in only 13 overs.
It was really explosive performance from them. Sadly, the match did not get played any further.

Umran Malik is capable of bowling at 150-155 kmph, but apart from that his wicket taking skills are not good. Raw pace may be useful to intimidate the opponents, especially while playing against weak teams such as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. But it may not work against the pig-3 teams, especially if he can't maintain his line and length. I want to see Umran bowling against the Australian and English batsmen. Surprising that you think Mavi as not suitable for T20 because of his low pace. IMO, T20 suits such guys. Those who bowl constantly at 150 kmph, such as Jofra Archer and Dale Steyn have struggled in the T20 format, because the batsmen could use their pace to score boundaries. IMO, Mavi has the potential to become one of the future superstars for India in the T20 format. BTW, India was missing a pace bowling all rounder badly. Vankatesh Iyer was the last one who got selection to the national squad, but his performance has gone downhill since then.
