Bangladesh Premier League 25th Match started today at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet. Sylhet Strikers batted first and scored 92 runs. This run is very low for T20 match. Today maybe Sylhet Strikers will not win the match with this run.  Till the end Sylhet Strikers batsmen performed poorly due to which Sylhet Strikers team scored very few runs.
Rangpur have taken 52 runs in 10 overs and they need 41 runs in remaining 10 overs but it is possible for Rangpur to win the match as Rangpur have seven more wickets. But Rangpur should have collected more runs in these 10 overs, if they could have done that they would have been considered a better team. But Rangpur will beat Sylhet today.  This possibility is huges. And for Rangpur to win they might have to play 16 to 17 overs

New Zealand Women U19 vs India Women U19 in the first semi-final. Today's match is very important for both teams. The team that will win today's match will take the chance to play the final. It is understood by observing the movement of the game. India Women U19 will have a chance to win today's match as India Women's team has more skillful players than New Zealand U19.

INDIA U19S V NEW ZEALAND U19S

The first semifinals of the women U19 world cup would be played today. India won the toss and opted to field first. I sure the Indian team would like to restrict the Kiwi batters to 150. If they are able to do that then they have a chance of entering the finals. It won't be that easy to defeat the Kiwis as they have not yet lost a single match in this tournament.
In the women's T20 semi-final, India's women's team won the match by beating New Zealand's women's team in just 14 overs. The New Zealand women's team scored only 107 runs in the entire 20 overs. And India women team crossed it in just 14 overs India has really occupied a big place in the game of cricket where both men team and women team of India are performing great and they are being called king of cricket all over the world.

The first semifinal turns out to be a very one sided affair.

Indian girls first dominated the kiwis with the ball and now are in hurry to chase down a mediocre target of 109.

Just need 13 runs and they are through finals without breaking a sweat. WPL franchise must be looking at Shweta Sehrawat, so far the top run-scorer in this WC.

I think India is always going to prefer experience, especially if it comes to any big tournament like the world cup. Because India knows very well that when it comes to the big occasions, the experienced players will be able to hold on to their nerve. Experience is going to save them in pressure situations. An inexperienced player is more likely to crumble under pressure. But it's not like India is not giving the young players a chance because they do not have good players in the pipeline. They are just feeling safer with the experienced players. And once the experience is not going to be of any use because the performance will drop, the young players are secondly going to be given chances.

Well... I have to disagree with you here. Bilateral tours represent a good opportunity for the BCCI to do some experimentation. They can rest some of their senior players and give opportunities for the younger ones. What is the point in including players such as Rohit and Shami for a series against New Zealand, that will be played on the flat tracks of India? They need to test the younger players before the ODI World Cup starts, and this is an ideal opportunity. And they need to do this, since the BCCI is no longer interested in scheduling India A and India U-23 tours.

T20 captain Hardik Pandya has already announced that Shubman Gill will open in today's match. But who will open with him is not sure yet. A few have been included in today's match. Jitesh Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Prithibi Shaw Among these three, Mukesh Kumar is mainly bowling, among these two people, Jitesh Sharma and Prithvi Shaw, will anyone get a chance to open?
Mukesh Kumar performed exceptionally well in the domestic circuit, but I don't know whether he will be given a chance as long as Rohit-Virat-Hardick combination remains in control of team selection. There is no dearth of talent in pace bowling for India at this point. But getting the selection to playing XI is a tough task, given the fact that the senior players have a strong preference for certain players. And the indications are that Ishan Kishan may open the batting along with Shubman Gill. Prithvi Shaw may not be a part of the XI for today's match.
As long as the senior and experienced players are in good form, no new players will be given a place in the squad. Indian management has always given more priority to experience. We have seen that Virat Kohli was with the Indian squad in the World Cup despite Deerg not being in good form for a few years. Mukesh Kumar is probably a good bowler. But still, the performance of the bowlers in the Indian squad is better. If a bowler is injured or out of form for a long time then maybe Mukesh Kumar will be able to cement his place in the Indian squad.

In today's T20I match, India vs New Zealand match is going to start in a short time. Meanwhile Shubman Gill is the opening batsman on the other hand it would be best to have Ishan Kisan.  Once their pair survives, India's chances of victory in today's T20 match are high, while New Zealand can't survive with India.  We have seen some games in the past where New Zealand have lost by huge margins so it remains to be seen what New Zealand can do in today's match.  New Zealand must be most careful on the wicket side and put in a good bowling performance if they want to progress.

T20 is entirely different from ODI and due to the shortened duration it gives more chances to the underdogs to perform upsets. So India should be more cautious this time around. Also, in T20 format, toss plays an important role. Once again, the pitch at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi is likely to favor the batsmen. So the team winning the toss will be at an advantage. BTW, Benjamin Lister is going to make his debut for New Zealand today. He is a left-arm seamer who has performed well in New Zealand domestic cricket (especially in the Super Smash T20 tournament).
The unbeaten run of Hardik Pandya in Ranchi can continue? There are a lot of talented and aggressive players in the Indian team. It may be possible for them to defeat a depleted NZ side. We can expect a good and even contest. The two teams are evenly matched. We are missing the big guns. However, the young one is going to fight it out. In T20 matches, key moments are often determined by bowling or hitting the winning run. I'm interested in seeing which batsman gets the lights because it's likely to favor the batsmen.

The domestic leagues in India are much better. Then all the players get a chance to play brilliantly. From those leagues, the selectors of the Indian team look for good players for the national team. This is how India became a powerful team.

I disagree with this argument. Domestic cricket in India still lags behind similar tournaments in other countries. If you look at Ranji Trophy, the quality is not the same as Sheffield Shield competition in Australia or the county championship in England. Even the Plunket Shield of New Zealand, Shell Shield of West Indies and Currie Cup of South Africa are of higher quality. In India, there are too many teams playing in the domestic tournament (38 first class teams) and this results in a dilution of quality. And this is one of the reason why top performers in domestic cricket such a Sarfraz Khan and Mukesh Kumar hardly gets any opportunity to represent the senior side.

Prithvi Shaw has shown tremendous performance in domestic cricket recently. Will he be the part of the playing 11 in today's match? Will he open the batting innings with Shubman Gill? These are a few questions that are in my mind before the T20 match. I hope he gets a chance this time. Hardik is a captain who takes risk and I am hoping he gives this guy a chance and Jitesh Sharma too.

This is natural because India has a large number of players whose performances are appreciable and many are out of the team after proving it. Getting a place in the Indian National Team is very difficult as they have many good competitors. BCCI feels that a player needs enough experience to play in International tournaments. Virat Kohli has been given many opportunities. The BCCI's confidence in him is certainly proved. Moreover, he has also proved it recently by performance.

I saw in news of ESPN Cricinfo that Ishan Kishan will open with Shubman Gill today. Both are very experienced batsmen for the T20 format. As the Indian batsmen have been able to perform brilliantly in this series, I think they will be able to continue this streak in the T20 format as well. And if India gets a chance to bat first in today's match, they will at least give a target of 190+. Because every Indian batsman is in the form now. So they don't need to depend on the performance of any particular batsman.
Not every Indian batter has been performing consistently. I know Shubman gill takes time to settle but once he does he is unstoppable. Ishan Kishan has not been playing that good at the moment. I am not sure about him and therefore I was expecting him to be replaced. If these new players donot get an opportunity in today's match then they would get an opportunity in the next. To be on the safer side Hardik might go for the same team that played against Srilanka in today's match.

All 4 contenders looking good tbh. IMO NZ and ENG hardly faced any challenges as their group was too easy so it's possible that we might be in for some surprise.

Personally, I believe India will overcome the Kiwi's challenge in the semis and will enter the finals. In finals, it should be a 50-50 chance for the finalists, no matter who is your opponent.

Edit
@Sithara007 didi are you pumped for WPL?  Grin

As I mentioned before, Indian women were lucky that they got a relatively weak opponent in the semi-final stage. In all probability, they will face Australia in the finals and this is going to be their toughest match so far. But no other team can match the experience that the Indian players have. For example, Shafali Verma (despite being just 18 years old) have played 2 test matches, 21 ODIs and 51 T20Is. Then we have Richa Ghosh, who have participated in a total of 47 international matches for India. Neither England, nor Australia have this much experience in their ranks.

Regarding WPL, I am curious to see how it unfolds. Personally I don't watch women's cricket that often. I have found women's matches less exciting when compared to men's. This is an opinion that is shared by a majority of my female colleagues (the few who are interested in cricket).
