We have not seen a very good performance from the Indian bowlers today. A descent of 160 runs set a target for the West Indies players. 159 runs on this pitch is enough to win if the performance of the bowlers is controlled.
West Indies top order players batted very responsibly today. Opener Brandon King scored 42 runs and Kyle Mayers scored 20 runs. Although Nicholas Pooran could not play a big innings, he collected 12 balls and 20 runs. Rovman Powell made a great knock in today's match. He was unbeaten scoring 40 runs off just 19 balls. Overall I would say West Indies are in control of the match. The team has a chance to win the series by winning today's match. Let's see how West Indies bowlers perform today.
I am not agreed with you about this we have 106 runs in first 15 overs which is good bowling by them but sadly in last 5 overs 53 runs and 1 wicket create some problem for the Indians but now start of batting is also interesting because first over we have 16 runs and one wicket with right now SKY and Shubman on crease and having aggressive approach which is also good because right now India need this aggression if they want to fight back into this series.
Attack on Akeel Hussain is good from SKY as today he is doing good job right now 25 from 14 balls we need him on crease for some more overs.
Joseph gives another breakthrough to West Indies, and he has wicket of Shubman in his second over with first over was also good on target.
West Indies collected 73 runs in the first 10 overs. But they lost only 1 wicket. The West Indies players were well aware that they had the ability to deliver a decent target if they did not lose early wickets. The bowlers of the Indian team managed to bowl with some control, but they could not pick up quick wickets. This is why West Indies managed to collect 159 runs in the end.
West Indies collected 53 runs in the last 5 overs. Is it too many runs in the last 5 overs? I don't think so. If the Indian bowlers could have picked up several wickets early on, the West Indies batsmen would have been under pressure.
India lost their two openers quickly. However, Suryakumar Yadav's performance today is surprising. He collected 51 runs off just 26 balls. Tilak Varma was also unbeaten with 18 runs off 11 balls. India collected 79 runs in 8 overs. The match is currently under India's control. India will win if they don't suffer a batting disaster.
