He was not arrogant. He was just frustrated at the treatment that was meted out to him. Harry Brook and David Warner are the two players who have undergone extremely harsh criticism in this season of the Indian Premier League. In case of Brook, the criticism that was directed at him was reasonable. Despite the price-tag, he has only one good innings to show. And I won't be surprised in case he gets dropped from the playing XI from the next match onwards. In the previous matches, he was preferred ahead of Glenn Phillips, who is a really really good batsman.

If the matter can be considered for tomorrow's match then it is 100% true, the performance of foreign players of Kolkata Knight Riders was very bad yesterday. Jason Roy (20) and André Russell (24) did not perform well except for these two foreign players. Kolkata Knight Riders would not have scored 171 runs if the two domestic players of Kolkata Knight Riders, Nitesh Rana (42) and Rinku Singh (46) had not performed well in yesterday's match. The native players are playing much better than the foreign players in the Kolkata Knight Riders team. I was expecting good performance from the batting of a few particular batsmen but their poor performances have always keep the team in more danger. One of them is Andre Russell who was often seen as a game changer but his run and performance in this tournament was not what I expected. If he could have put in some consistent performances, Kolkata Knight Riders might have been further ahead in the points table.

Why this guy is in the team exactly? He has hardly made any contributions with the bat, and he hasn't bowled a single over so far in this season of the Indian Premier League. Yesterday, the required run rate was quite steep and he (Abdul Samad) was batting in relaxed mode. Made 21 from 18 balls and then got out to Varun Chakravarthy. He had Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the other end, and just 9 runs were needed from the 20th over that was bowled by Chakaravarthy. Samad is rapidly turning out to be another Riyan Parag. Quite useless player. I don't know how he gets retained with every season.

KKR needed at least 20 more to make this match interesting in my opinion.

SRH bowled well and restricted KKR to an under-par total, but I still don't think they will win because their batting line-up is extremely inconsistent. When was the last time SRH chased down a big total?

Mumbai Indians currently seem to be improving.
Mumbai Indians have played 9 matches like some others and have 10 points.
But at the same time, LSG and CSK have played 10 matches and got 11 points.

So, Mumbai Indians still have a chance to get ahead of so many teams on the table.
I am a little skeptical about CSK because they have not been able to perform well in recent matches.
They will have to be more consistent to stay toward the top of the table.

It would be really tight contest if MI, Gujrat, CSK and Rajasthan all go in. I believe these teams will provide a tight contest. RCB is another potential candidate, not much confidence in Lucknow.

MI and CSK have in the past shown that they can come back and win the tournament. They both have won the trophy multiple times and they might once again in 2023.

I will bet on CSK for this season because they are playing very differently this season. MI might be getting back because they have some of the best batters, who are now able get their momentum back. The one problem that they still have is a good opening bowling pair.

GT cannot be ruled out but LSG after KL Rahul is having a big issue with their opening pair.
