There is no mistake that Rohit Sharma is a successful captain in IPL matches. Especially Ishan Kishan is showing good performance, the chances of winning the trophy in 2023 are high.

Rohit Sharma's performance is not good this season. I would say he has not been successful as an opener and captain this season. Mumbai has a very strong squad. Most of the players in the squad are very experienced in the T20 format. After that, Mumbai Indians have been defeated very miserably in several matches. But Rohit Sharma alone cannot be blamed for this.

Knockout round seems certain for Chennai and Gujarat. These two teams are performing well. They are able to perform well in almost every match. However, Chennai were favorites against Delhi. Because the performance of Chennai players is quite regular. The players are in good form. Even then after being given a target of just 168, I thought Chennai would not be able to win the match. However, Chennai's bowlers performed brilliantly. Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali and Tushar Deshpande's bowling was very controlled. Deepak Chahar also managed to pick up two wickets and Matheesha three wickets. Chennai won because of the good performance of the bowlers.

@LittleBitFunny all the credit for CSK terrific performances goes to MSD because he’s shaped this team exactly how he wants it to be. Furthermore the way he takes time to train player’s and tell them where they’re right and wrong is a classic example of why he’s one of the best cricketer and if this year he’s retiring* then I hope that he wins this IPL tournament and retires on a high. This team is not getting any help from the top batsmen. David Warner is the captain of the team and has more reputation in T20 cricket but in this session not seen any remarkable performances from him. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh both performed worst as overseas players in today's match. Mitchell Marsh's run out made the match more decisive. Rilee Rossouw was able to score but his strike rate looked like he was playing an ODI match. He just collected 35 from 37 balls and was also the highest scorer in that match.

Delhi Capitals should've won the match. Considering the big targets 167 runs isn't a easy reachable. As said the openers should contribute good, only then following players will add good runs. This is the team that comfortably chased 181 runs in 17^th over. In that match Phil Salt played well. Mitchell Marsh, Roussouw had also contributed good. In today's match the target is low and there is no big pressure. Anyhow this season of IPL playoff qualification isn't possible for Delhi Capitals. It needs to focus preparing for the next season.

The batting performance of both the team batsmen shows that the pitch seemed not to support to the batter. Chennai Super Kings had some great batsmen they didn't do very well. On the other hand Delhi Capitals batsmen also failed to accelerate their scores. A similarity between the two teams are that neither could score big. Delhi Capitals did not start well due to which they lost the match. Moreover, some incidents like run out and LBW stopped the run of the match and Chennai Super Kings got a great win. Recently the points table shows a pretty picture. The upcoming matches will be more exciting.

Delhi Capitals can easily make it happen. In 17 overs CSK have reached 126 runs. Jadeja need to make some fast runs with which there is possible chances for 160+ runs. It seems like a batting friendly pitch. According to my understanding about the players and the present match Conway failed and the team wasn't able to reach good score. If Conway performs well surely that match turns to be high scoring for sure. Anyhow every match is important for the teams, win of Chennai Super Kings increase the playoff opportunity.
