He has been consistently performing whenever he gets an opportunity. He comes get thos 10-20-30 odd runs, increase the RR and goes back. This kind of performance does not get any attention but help the team.
After DC won the match I was happy see them celebrating in the end. I feel they might have found the bowling combination but batting line-up is still not looking good.
Well, agree it's in shambles and everyone looks out of shape. Even Shaw who was in great form, now hitting a new low in every match. Sometimes these tight matches can lift the team's spirit but with DC I'm not holding my breath.

How the hell can anyone hit him for 3 sixes in an over? Somehow Rahul Tewatia was able to achieve this super-human target (not the first time that he has done something like this). But surprisingly, in the next over which was bowled by Ishant, Tewatia failed to score even a single boundary. And Hardik Pandya was helpless and remained as a silent spectator from the other end.

You are right. The Gujarat Titans squad is very balanced. And their players are in very good form. This is why the team is able to play well consistently. I think Gujarat players were overconfident against Delhi Capitals. Perhaps they thought they would win very easily with a target of 131 runs. But this is not the case. Delhi bowlers bowled very well. As a result, Gujarat lost wickets to their top-order batsmen very quickly. And their batting was quite slow. And in the end, Gujarat Titans team had to lose the match by 5 runs

After Gujarat scored 21 runs in the 19th over I thought Delhi was going to lose this match. Gujarat needed just 12 off the last over to win. But even then Gujarat could not win. They lost the match by 5 runs. Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma's bowling was excellent in this match. Due to Shami's bowling, the Gujarat team managed to restrict Delhi to just 130 runs.
Both LSG and Chennai are very strong teams. Hopefully, we will not see low scores in this match. I am annoyed by the low scores in the last two matches. Both LSG and Chennai have strong batting line-ups. But I don't know the condition of the pitch.

What the heck is up with all the low scoring matches suddenly? RCB posted a small target which Lucknow failed to chase and lost by a decent margin and it seems like the same thing might happen to GT against DC
Yes suddenly IPL which known for big score turnout to be low scoring match. before this 200 target has been chased in two games and now 130 score become so hard to chase. Harthik Pandya fifty save Titans otherwise i am afraid of all out under 100. Gujarat now need 37 more runs in three overs and best hitter Pandya is still on the crease. although Titans will win this match but Dehli Capital bowlers did a magnificent job here. Hardik Pandya did not play a blistering knock as he was finding it hard to connect the ball properly and hence he was not able to take the team to victory but Rahul Tewatia took the team closer and at one point thought he will produce another magic as he hit Anrich Nortje for 3 consecutive sixes but Ishant Sharma bowled a perfect final over by not giving any boundary balls.
Well.. I never expected Nortje to get hit for three consecutive sixes. He was bowling at well over 90 mph, but Rahul Tewatia had other ideas. This Tewatia guy never fails to surprise us. Every now and then he explodes like a nuclear weapon. But this time he was unable to guide his team to a victory. Gujarat Titans needed 33 runs from the last 2 overs, but then Nortje conceded 21 in the 19th over. But fortunately for the Delhi Capitals, Ishant did well to bowl unplayable deliveries in the last over and not a single boundary came from that over.

You cannot deny the fact that RCB bowling was at its best and so was the fielding. Defending such a small target is not that easy. That was the reason the LSG batter Naveen was pissed off. Siraj ne aur jala di uski . Later that fight basically was hijacked by Kholi & Gambhir. These two have been know for their fights in the past. It first started in 2013 when Gambhir used to be part of KKR team. In a fantasy world, I would like to see a fistfight between Kohli and Gambhir lol. Action reaction basically. I didn't watch the match, but I saw the highlights and was stunned to see Lucknow lose by 18 freaking runs when the target itself was so small. It was a low scoring match, but entertaining for sure.It's always fun watching Kohli and Gambhir clash. They did get fined for their behaviour, but they clearly don't care.
