Lucky GT won the toss on a pitch that was in favor of batters and elected to bat first. 204 is not an easy target to chase. At the moment KKR has lost 2 wickets but the NRR is still good. Hahahas someone has to remind KL that he is playing IPL. Coming to Vijay Shankar, he and Stuart Binny have always been considered two biggest chokers of IPL, they do play every year in some team or the other but don't make any impact, even on the national level. But this innings from him was remarkable. Even though he is far away from a national team selection, this innings looks absolutely excellent from him.

Avoiding wicket fall during the powerplay is very important. In the match against CSK, Mumbai Indians were in good position during the end of powerplay. Soon after powerplay the second wicket (Ishan Kishan) fell. From there scoring got dropped and wickets too fell. By that position if SKY have made few good shots score could've increased and bowlers might've faced pressure. Batting order change or something needs to be done.
