Shikhar Dhawan's responsible performance gave Punjab Kings a target of 144 runs. Shikhar Dhawan's collection was 99 runs out of 143 runs. He was unbeaten on 99 off just 66 balls. The way Punjab started batting I thought they would lose all the wickets before 100. 143 runs maybe not be enough collection for maybe. But it's a good enough collection to contend with. The pitch is not completely batting-friendly. If Punjab's bowlers are able to perform well, they have a chance to win. The result depends on Punjab's bowlers.

What an amazing batting from the Kolkata Knight Riders team. Such situations in T20 matches can really give maximum joy to the audience. I remember when I watched a World Cup match of West Indies in 2016 where they played against England. There were 19 runs needed in the last over which seemed to be a difficult equation for everyone but Carlos Bathwaite made the equation quite easy. Finished the game with consecutive sixes off the last four balls. In today's match, Rinku Singh showed another terrible batting performance Kolkata Knight Riders.

Bowling from Yash Dayal is really bad, because to any batsmen a bowler should not allow to bat 30 runs in the last five balls. Finally what Venkatesh contributed at the beginning of the match turned useful.

I can't believe what I just saw. At one point Rashid khan took 3 wickets hattrick and at that point the match become completely in control of the
Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders fans could not think that they could win from there on in. They needed 5 sixes in last 5 bowls and won the game for the KKR. That were just unbelievable scenes.

Yash Dayal must be killing himself on how he gave 5 sixes in the last final decisive over and ruin all the hard work done by Gujarat Titans earlier.
