13th Match Brisbane Heat vs Adelaide Strikers Brisbane Heat are batting now in this game. They have scored 111 runs in 15 overs. And Brisbane Heat have lost 5 wickets. They still have 5 wickets left in their hand. In this match Brisbane Heat could not score much runs by batting. However.  If they can score some more runs in the remaining 5 overs, it can be very easy for Brisbane Heat to win.

Brisbane Heat managed to set a decent target of 167 runs. Sam Billings scored 79 off just 48 balls. And opener Max Bryant scored 46 off 29 balls. Apart from these two batsmen, no other player on the team could play well. Even then 167 runs were enough to win. And the important thing is that Adelaide lost their opener on the first ball.

I had a lot of expectation from PJL and WPSL. But the elevation of Najam Sethi casts doubt about the continuation of these leagues. The above mentioned leagues are not very profitable and were designed by Rameez Raja when he was the PCB chairman. Najam Sethi doesn't care much about cricket and he is money minded. I don't know whether he will allow these leagues to function. It is a big loss to Pakistan cricket. Sethi will ruin Pakistani cricket and after a few years once again PCB will get some scapegoat like Rameez. The cycle will go on.
Expectation from a countries cricket board which is struggling to give a decent amount of electricity supply to its citizens is more than you as an individual living in India would think about in your every day life. Pakistan team in the past were a contingent to fear and now they are so down with uncertainty that it is better to not bet on them.
In my opinion after Imran Khan was removed from the country as the PM this situation was waiting to happen. He was the individual who was trying to improve the level of cricket in Pakistan and above all abolish the authoritarian type of selecting a chairman of the cricket board. But, eventually those who are responsible for looting cricket board money and ruining its existence are back. I reckon dark days are again coming back.
A bad political environment affects Ramiz Raja. In Pakistan cricket, fixing will be on the rise now that Sethi has returned due to the country's economic crisis.
During Ramiz Raja's tenure as PCB chairman, Pakistan cricket made good progress. I am surprised that Sethi will be replacing him. Ramiz was a good man, so this was a bad decision. The people's reaction tells the whole story. It would have been better to try a new person with fresh ideas. The future looks bleak, so let's wait and see.
I am sad that he is no longer the chairman of the PCB. However, I am looking forward to seeing him in the commentary box.

Pakistan cricket is not going to prosper if Pakistan is under so many problems as a country. And another thing is that players are also not going to be able to play without any outside pressure at the back of their minds if the political situation in Pakistan is not good. Actually, the Cricketer's order Pakistan Cricket board actually cannot do anything in this matter, in my opinion.

Well, I think the Pakistan Cricket Board could do anything if the government did not have so much to say about who will be in charge of the Pakistan Cricket board.

I think it would have been great if Ramiz Raja was still the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket board. But that is not to be.

I personally believe that we need to give the new PCB board members some time, and it doesn’t makes sense to assume that they’ll fail right away. Furthermore I believe that Pakistan’s government knows that they can revive their economy by inviting more team’s, hence I feel that they’ll make sure PCB member’s are diligently working so I’m excited to see what changes do the new PCB board members implement.
Yea definitely Pakistan cricket board needs alot of new changes in order to grow and progress , it needs new and competent people to bring positive changes.  Re-election of Najam Sethi is definitely not a positive change for Pakistan cricket board and team.
This is total political decision.

In response to Najam Sethi's appointment as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, a large number of members of the community were disappointed. Although Najam Sethi had bad stories in the past, that doesn't mean he will repeat them. Positive changes may be seen, however. There are some reports in the media suggesting Inzamam Ul Haq, Shoaib Akhtar, and Shahid Afridi will be on the PCB interim selection committee, for example. Pakistan cricket team will go high and high if these three legends become part of PCB.

This is news to me. I felt that he was doing a good job as the chairman by convincing a powerful team like Australia to tour Pakistan successfully.

One plausible reason behind his sacking could be their threat to the ICC to boycott the upcoming World Cup in India since the Indian team was reluctant to participate in the upcoming Asian Cup in Pakistan.

Asia cup issue is not valid here. Even Najam Sethi want the Asia cup to be staged in Pakistan. I don't think that anyone within the PCB would agree to move the tournament to a neutral venue, unless the ACC compensates Pakistan for the revenues that could be potentially lost. First of all, the demands from BCCI are not fair. They can't demand that Pakistan should travel to India whenever an ICC tournament is hosted by the BCCI, and then the tournaments should be moved to a neutral venue when PCB is hosting it.
BCCI is only following the directive of Government of India. Recently the Indian External Affairs Minister has said that there will be no cricketing ties between both the countries. BCCI cannot do anything as it has to follow the rules set by the government. Indeed PCB will lose a good chunk of revenue as India won't travel to Pakistan for the Asia cup. Ultimately both boards will agree for a neutral venue in the end for both the tournaments.

That's the whole reality behind removing Ramiz Raja because he was very clear in his point of Asia Cup and Pakistan not going to some neutral venue for Asia Cup that cost him a heavy price of his seat.  That was not good for politics and ICC and BCCI  so cut long story short he was removed and a political favorite is chosen For the seat.

Those who really want to do something good for the cricket cannot hold their position due to political reasons. Ramiz Raja is also under the grip of such machinations. Pakistani cricket may go backwards again and we may see changes in the team as well. A few days back, While there were indications of political conspiracy against Sourav Ganguly, now the same thing is happened against Ramiz Raja. One thing is for sure that one can never survive in the big positions of cricket without being in the shadow of politics.

Those new projects will go as planned but might stop after a year or so due to financial issue. When Najam Sethi was the chairman a lot of favouritism was done on selection. Unwanted & unusual spending were also made. He will again do the same as a chairman of PCB. I still believe Ramiz Raja should have been given some more time. Losing a test series and talking sometimes talking nonsense to media doesn't mean he was bad for the future of cricket in Pakistan.

WPSL and PJL were Ramiz Raja propositions and ideas and as we know when the chairman is changed no one works on the ideas of previous chairman , najam sethi is elected and selected totally in political basis otherwise nothing was wrong with Ramiz Raja  he was good for our cricket and Pakistan's team have achieved alot in his tenure.  Just he was strict in his dealings and extremely vocal about that which was not good for Pakistan politics.

Well.. I guessed. Never had a good opinion about Najam Sethi in the first place. PCB went through a lot of turmoil when he was in power. It was Rameez who cleaned up the board, convinced foreign teams to play in Pakistan and improved the financial situation. With new administrators in place, it is going to be a few months of turbulence in Pakistani cricket. I want to see how the new proposals such as the Pakistan Junior League and the WPSL fare under the new chairman. These were dream projects of Rameez.

Who is Ramiz Raja that is not the fact. What is important his development in recent times. I will corroborate that he has brought a lot of changes in Pakistan cricket in a short span of time. But his sudden departure could be more of a downfall than a boost for Pakistan cricket. Changing that position for a series loss or two doesn't seem very logical. Pakistan are quite ahead in cricket but the position they have failed in several tournaments is hard to accept. First they failed in the final of the Asia Cup and also failed in the final of the T20 World Cup. Now again the loss in Test and cricket is forcing them to make big changes.

Najam Sethi is close to the Sharif family and that is one of the reason he is again being appointed as the PCB chairman. When you mix politics with the game the game only suffers and that is what is happening to Pakistani cricket. If you look back in the past when Najam Sethi was the chaiman he practically did nothing whereas Rameez Raja was much better as he was able to convince International teams to play in Pakistan.

Uganda Women vs Kenya Women The final game between these two teams has started today. Kenya Women batted first and gave the target of 81 runs to Uganda Women. I understand from the game that Uganda Women will win this match very easily. But I think Uganda Women have a great performance in bowling.  Because of this, Kenya Women's batsmen could not score many runs.
Uganda women team did a great performance they won that match with holding 6 wickets in hand.Kenyan women can't really stand up to the Ugandan women's bowling. Kenya women's team batting side is much weaker from Uganda  if we look back to today's match we will able to see that their top order to lower order batwomen's they are faild to score and they stuck at only 81 run . I think if they can't improve their batting side then I think the result of today's match will continue for the next match also
I had no idea that women in Uganda and Kenya played cricket. I looked at ICC's Oman ranking site and it lists 53 countries for T20 with Uganda and Kenya ranked 21st and 22nd. It must be acknowledged that cricket has changed. Kenya women team set a target of 80 runs to Uganda women team where Uganda women team lost 4 wickets to win the match. Since both teams are new, some of those aspects show up in their game. If they continue to play, they may be able to rise up gradually in the coming days. Undoubtedly, ICC's initiatives will bring good results. If the teams included in the list play cricket regularly then cricket can improve quickly.

Bad news coming in from Pakistan. Now it is confirmed that Rameez Raja will be removed as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The name of Najam Sethi has been recommended by Pakistan prime minister Shehbaz Sharif. I don't think that this is a positive step by any means. PCB will be back to the old ways if Rameez is removed. I don't have a good opinion about Shehbaz and his cronies as they are famous for nepotism and corruption. Rameez was doing an excellent job, but probably PCB doesn't deserve someone like him.
