Bad news coming in from Pakistan. Now it is confirmed that Rameez Raja will be removed as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The name of Najam Sethi has been recommended by Pakistan prime minister Shehbaz Sharif. I don't think that this is a positive step by any means. PCB will be back to the old ways if Rameez is removed. I don't have a good opinion about Shehbaz and his cronies as they are famous for nepotism and corruption. Rameez was doing an excellent job, but probably PCB doesn't deserve someone like him.

Uganda Women vs Kenya Women The final game between these two teams has started today. Kenya Women batted first and gave the target of 81 runs to Uganda Women. I understand from the game that Uganda Women will win this match very easily. But I think Uganda Women have a great performance in bowling.  Because of this, Kenya Women's batsmen could not score many runs.
Uganda women team did a great performance they won that match with holding 6 wickets in hand.Kenyan women can't really stand up to the Ugandan women's bowling. Kenya women's team batting side is much weaker from Uganda  if we look back to today's match we will able to see that their top order to lower order batwomen's they are faild to score and they stuck at only 81 run . I think if they can't improve their batting side then I think the result of today's match will continue for the next match also

I don't think they are still having any understanding about this because they are mostly looking for their profit which is not coming in this WIPL, so they are bringing changes which is surely confusing political influence and lack of professionalism is surely hurting badly they need to be like Cricket Australia or ECB because they are doing amazing things for their both formats and having amazing stuff here we are already late for nearly 5 to 7 years and things are going more complicated because right now focus is again IPL drafting which is coming soon and most chances they are going to be done things after sometime which mean they can start this all late which is surely not positive thing.

Even recent bilateral series between India vs Australia give them positive indications, but they are still having no things which are needed for the quick work from them BCCI is surely having tag of one of biggest and richest cricketing board, but their mindset is still far behind their competitors like Australia and England.

Actually, I don’t think it is a good idea to blame the BCCI for everything. Because after all, they will have to look at where to money is going to come from. And if they are trying to host a tournament that is not going to be beneficial for them, they are obviously going to think a lot before actually hosting it.

That is what has been happening with the women’s IPL. They are very concerned that they might not be able to generate enough revenue. That is why they have been delaying the women’s IPL. I am quite sure that they still do not believe they are going to get enough revenue. But they are doing it anyway just so that the situation of women’s cricket in India does improve.

The popularity of women's cricket has increased tremendously. Women's cricket can also create a lot of excitement these days. However, India is in the leading position in men's cricket, but lags behind in women's cricket. However, there is no dearth of their interest and enthusiasm. India and Australia women's cricket series however suffered a major defeat for India. But they have also learned a lot from this series. Overall I think women's cricket has improved a lot. Australia Women's team in particular deserves praise for the devastating performance they gave after the fall of the 4th wicket yesterday against India. I have never seen such a batting performance in women's cricket before.
Technology doing amazing stuff for this all so with this now we can generate big amounts and games can take good advantage of this all because right now mostly peoples love to watch at home or having different platforms which are surely increasing day by day and media rights are also having their impact on games as well so for me this is surely one of the best opportunity for the BCCI to have started this and try even they can face few issues in first two or three years, but surely they will be turned into positive after this period but for this surely they have taken bold decisions and bring this idea into reality because if they are not going with positive mindset and have into immediate decisions then surely this could be another big below for them in near future.

IPL 2023 auctions are about to start soon people and I am excited because of returning players like Ben Stokes etc. So many other big names like Curran, Greene etc will most probably attract intense bidding.

Am hoping to see new talent get more opportunities this time around due to the new BCCI chairman who seems to be doing a better job than Ganguly currently.

I think right now, the BCCI has understood that they need to give women’s IPL the recognition, and money that they need. Actually, I am happy that they have realized women’s IPL should be happening.

If women’s IPL had already happened a few times, I believe right now the Indian women’s cricket team would have been at the same level as Australia's and England's women’s teams. But that did not happen. If the BCCI was not so much ignorant of the potential that the Indian women’s cricket team has, probably they wouldn’t have lost against Australia in the series.

Brisbane heat vs Melbourne Renegades
Brisbane heat chose to bat first and gave a normal target of 137 runs on 8 wickets.  Clearly this is an easily target to chase Melbourne Renegades has lost 5 wickets so far and made 93 runs. They need 45 runs on 29 balls which is easy indeed.

BCCI in my opinion are not releasing any updates because they are busy preparing the framework. Knowing them they would try to make this league also a money minting league. They won't be able to achieve it from the first year but they know as the popularity grows the money will flow. So the focus would be more on advertising more about WIPL before the league starts.
I believe BCCI is not under any delusion of a money-minting league regarding WIPL. They even scrapped the fixed base price recently, things are moving forward in the background surely and atm they are waiting for the Franchises response. Also, Men's IPL auction is scheduled in the next couple of days, so obviously, this will take center stage for now.

Coming back to yesterday's match. At one point I really thought our girls are going to pull it off but we got belted again by the Gardner-Grace duo.

Yeah.. one of the positives have been the massive crowds that the series managed to attract. 45,238 people attended the second T20I match between Indian women and Australian women, which was staged at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Ashleigh Gardner of Australia also described the crowd as the second largest she has ever witnessed. What we need is continued support from the BCCI. I have a feeling that the focus from BCCI is still not there, despite all the big talk about pay parity and starting the WIPL.

India vs Australia women's cricket match Australia won massively.  Because India boys are far ahead in cricket but Indian women are not so far ahead in cricket compared to Australia.  The Australian boys are far ahead and the women are in very good form.  Australia's Gardner scored 66 off 32 balls and Grace Harris scored 64 off 35 balls.  These two players brought Australia to victory and they scored half-centuries.  But Australia is in very good form in these two games.

Australia, England and Newzealand are the top 3 teams in women T20 ranking. Indian women team is ranked fourth on that list. Yes, a long way to go but definitely not a bad start for women cricket. Give them a few more years and they would also be ranking on the top and then you can thank the WIPL. Even though India women lost the home series but they were able to pull crowd to the stadium. Which was very rare earlier all thanks to the commendable performance by the girls in the last few years.

I agree and I also have same question we can't just blame WIPL for that.

WIPL may increase the player pool for the Indian women's team. Compared to the men's team, there is still a lack of depth. Almost a dozen Indian players have franchise T20 experience, but apart from these players the domestic players are not up to the international standard. WIPL may bridge the gap between these two sets of players. But even the first group of players performed pathetically this time. It's true that they were up against one of the strongest teams in women's cricket. But what about the home advantage? The way they surrendered meekly yesterday was shocking.

Indian Women's lost this series badly but many positive aspects still happen as these women's have faced a quality team which is full of skills and consistency which is good for them because now after this series these will feel better and have confidence to go at their best in next matches and now as we are heading for the WIPL which will give more experience and better technique from other players will also help these women's needs more match practice and experience.

I check mostly they have done good in early overs but sadly fail to retain batsmen in last few overs which mostly change the momentum of the match like we have in last match in early 12 overs very good bowling but suddenly in last 8 overs we have more than 100 runs which bring huge pressure and lost the match and series hopefully in near future things could be better, and we will be able to have better results.

I don't know how much we can blame on the absence of the WIPL. Because a number of Indian players do take part in foreign franchise leagues, such as Women's BBL and Women's Hundred. I am talking about players such as Jemimah Rodrigues, Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma and Pooja Vastrakar. The way Indian women let the game out of their hand yesterday was simply unpardonable. They were conceding around 15 runs per over during the last powerplay. Captaincy was poor and the fielding also broke down completely.
I agree and I also have same question we can't just blame WIPL for that. India lost the series 4-1, narrowly avoiding a whitewash against Australia.  I saw weakness in their batting. In most of the matches I have seen in this series, their opening batsmen have failed the Australian women. Specially Smriti Mandhana mostly failed in every match. So blaming only WIPL will not be right .

Once again, a shitty show from the Indian women. They had Australia at 84/4 in 12 overs. But then Ashleigh Gardner and Grace Harris scored 112 runs from just 8 overs, to take Australia to a massive total of 196/4. Everyone got the stick, including Renuka Singh, Anjali Sarvani, Deepti Sharma and Devika Vaidya. The Indian bowlers looked quite clueless in the last 8 overs. Brabourne Stadium do have large boundaries, but despite that it was showering sixes and fours when Gardner and Harris was batting out there. This series is going to end up at 4-1.

The big failure of India team was that they could not make any more wickets fall after the fourth wicket. Their runs increased so much in the last 10 overs where the Indian team was defeated. After taking 4 wickets i thought today's match might be won. But I forgot about Australia's devastating batting. They also reminded us that As of lately Australia is one of the best women's cricket team in the world. The performance of women cricketers in Australia and New Zealand has been admirable in recent times. No teams have the ability to beat them in this secession.
Right now, Australian women's team is ruling like we have Australian men's few years back they have superior quality and skilled bowlers and batting line up which is big difference for the team like India, but one thing is sure we will keep high hopes because these can change the ranks and bring good success here now BCCI is late but still good at least now they are starting this all, and we will be able to have WIPL in next few months which will bring good entertainment and other aspects for these players.

In that match we have first 100 from Australia in 12.5 overs and after this Ashleigh Gardner and Grace Harris have amazing partnership which change the match momentum and India lost this match here in these seven overs because after having target like this 197 they started batting which was never been easy and losing wickets regularly never allowed them to play freely.

Ellyse Perry in Australian women's cricket is what Joe Root is for England in men's cricket. She is their superstar. Australian women are having a big advantage over the Indian women, because the most competitive women's league is being played in their country (WBBL). The BCCI needlessly delayed the launch of WIPL, and therefore most of the Indian women doesn't have this advantage. The last match of this series will be played today at Brabourne and Australia are up 3-1 till now (one match was tied and won by India during super over).

I think right now, the BCCI has understood that they need to give women’s IPL the recognition, and money that they need. Actually, I am happy that they have realized women’s IPL should be happening.
