I have a theory. That alt coins fore tell the future of bitcoin and now ETH.
Look at the ones that where launched in 2013-early2014. (must be at least ranked in the top100)
Almost everyone had a bubble up boom ... a long valley of despair ... and are now slowly but surely working back up in Market Cap.
Will they hit their peaks, maybe but not likely for a few more years. But they are in the lows and will see highs. Better returns than BTC if that helps.
The point is they have gone thru a half dozen market cycles. And are 2-5 skips ahead of the BTC market cycle. ETH, lolz. Is just at the year 2013 bubble pop of BTC. And doomed to test sub $1 supports.
You want invest-able, the numbers are out there, stick with older alts that have survived. Look at their charts.
And avoid high inflation
Lots of opportunity to make steady profit. It may not be the big money you can make on a shitcoin pump but its safe money. OK - I have only had support for reverting to 5.2% per annum staking reward.

The dev got serously ill and all the development got hallted.
It had a very active community and some good services in the past.
i'm NOT an 'expert' either; but i think many of the TALK members have a great deal of 'staking experience'.

still like the old POS because it doesn't eat all of a systems memory
Vanilla has impressed me with being 'light'
And I like the stakes that have quick staking time (say hours and coins are mature for staking) coupled with a max reward; that lets smaller coin holders get rewards as it also limits what whales can get.
In the end I am just watching and waiting to see what is the best. TALK works, the current goal is get more participants. Then when the time is right pick the best [POS3,POSp,etc] and fork to something nicer. No rush. I think it is x1000 times more important to get the right business model and right team assembled before attempting to improve the code(fork).

PoSP is gr8 because staking nodes gets paid more if fewer stakers exist, imo pos 2 is a pain, wallet wants to run continuously foreva, or at least come out for air every few days - what are the differences w/PoS3?
