If cause and effect is proof of a god, then who made god? Was it god's god? And who made god's god? was it god's god's god? This is a cycle of infinity. This is no proof.

BADecker then claims that this is only theory. The reality is that science is disproving/proving all theories  we (humans) have believed for years. That is the nature of science. For it to be tested by others. People like BADecker will continually use their same argument of assumptions to state there is no proof that god does not exist. The reality is that history has shown that early Vikings believed  "lightning flashed whenever Thor threw his hammer". Science has proven this incorrect.

Nations looking for god rebuttal
BADecker claims that people are looking for how the universe was made. This is true to a point, however, BADecker then claims that because the answers are still not found, the answer must be a god. WRONG.... this is not proof. This is an assumption again on BADecker's part. Science is unlocking secrets every day. Religion is being disproven daily and BADecker continues to hold on to his mindless views.

As you can see, BADecker's ideas are only theories and assumptions. They prove nothing.

a lot of people are atheists for not realizing that many things that cannot be proven by the mind and logic, a simple example is when we sleep, we never know what happens during sleep.

Anybody can go to my links and find the step-by-step explanation of how the laws of science prove God exists. Nobody has shown a step-by-step rebuttal of the laws or the proof. If you know of such a place, go get the step-by-step rebuttal and post it here in the forum, and not just some link to it. If you only post a link, you don't have a rebuttal, because nobody can tell if you understand for sure that you have a rebuttal. You probably don't even know yourself, for sure.

There you go again, opposing science law with some science theory, but mostly with only talk. Why don't you capitalize on your religion? Or is that what you have done in the past, and are only protecting your investment, now.

If you think the proof for the existence of God is not proof, why don't you post the step-by-step, irrefutable rebuttal to it? You can't, can you. All you can do is blab.

"If the entire World joins my hallucination it will be a better place", is common ground to:

There's no "one size fits all" solution for the World and your "true bible" (whatever that means, taken there're dozens of versions) surely isn't one too.

If true Bible Christianity existed exclusively worldwide, there would be few problems in the world at all. So, why wouldn't the Christians want to gloat a little over the unbelievers in Hell, who had caused all the torment in the world by their unbelief?

Since the topic is about atheism, let's realize that atheism is either a false religion, or it is non-existent, even in those who wished they were atheists.

Yet ironically its the devout religious nut jobs that run around beheading people, blow themselves and others to bits for a piece of make believe paradise, hear voices and believe in the invisible man in the sky.

And yet after all this they are still so deluded they also believe that everyone else should still respect them for their insanity.

I'm sorry but the same can be said about religion. You have no evidence that God exists. All what you believe it tales of the Bible and the tricks of the priests. Agree it is ridiculous. We can not consider it evidence. Besides, it is customary to look for evidence of the existence of something, not absence. Prove that Bigfoot or aliens there.

Who says there is no Santa? You can look in many department stores all over the world during the Christmas season, and see Santa.

Since there are many paintings and drawings of unicorns, they just might exist... even flying ones.

People have pictures they claim that are of big foot. Why attempt to prove that it doesn't exist?

Atheism is a lie. For those who understand that they don't know for a fact that God doesn't exist, atheism is an intentional and malicious lie. For the ignorant who haven't realized that they can't prove that God doesn't exist, atheism is a lying religion.

What's there to talk about? True atheism is simply some people trying to eject God from their lives for some selfish reasons. Can't be done. Ultimately the atheist, if he reinforces his atheism in himself enough, will go nuts.

Prove on the negative is NO PROOF AT ALL! You can't prove something that doesn't exist, doesn't exist. What you can prove is for what does exist.

The "I/we don't know" part pertains to atheism, which doesn't really exist. Atheists don't know enough to know that God exists or doesn't exist. Therefore, atheism is easily proven to not exist except as a convoluted religion for those that are ignorant of the fact that they don't know enough to determine whether God exists or not.

When the ignorant atheist understands that God exists, then even the religion of atheism falls by the wayside. And the atheist is no longer an atheist.

"I/we don't know" => "It was God"

That's broken logic, just seconds my previous statement; God is nothing but an euphemism and a metaphor to the unknown. That's why it can be such a paradox, "good" and "evil" at the very same time.

Just visit a metal institution... you'll see how many are or talk to Napoleon and God these days. Crazy people has been there all around History, mental institutions however are more recent, but the "prophets" would probably fit well there.

I believe that each of us will have the opportunity to learn about all the truths and falsities of the world. Then everyone will make a choice and conclusions. And now it's all empty talk.

None of you seems to understand, lets imagine that you developed a game very much like a world that we live in, would you care what happens in the game? or do you think anything from inside that game can harm you? would you go inside the game as a character just to get killed for what? for a bunch of ungrateful game characters? (while Jesus didn't die and still is alive and he wasn't the son of God/he isn't God).

Christians are worse than atheists, at least they say there is no God whatsoever but Christians believe in trinity which is called polytheists.

In every holy book sent to guide mankind all the names of prophets and angels are the same and each book approves the one sent before with written testimonies, why there is no book and someone claiming to be a prophet and saying that Bible or Quran are lies and then provides something better?

Do you think 2000 years ago someone imagined the name "Gabriel" and said he was an archangel sent by God and more than 600 years after that again someone else from a different country/race started to imagine the same entity reading him words of God?

How can you not see when you plant a seed in to the ground a tree grows out of the soil? how can it not be so obvious that someone (God) could easily use our DNA which by the way are all over the world and every person's DNA from Adam and Eve and up to the last numbers of people on earth is available somewhere but it is on earth and recreate us again just like when a tree grows from a tiny seed?

I'm telling you it's not too late still and there is time for you to get back on the right path because when the time is over repenting won't work and won't be accepted.

Each and every one of us will face our maker all alone by ourselves without anyone to help us but only our beliefs and our deeds in this world.

As a friendly suggestion, just once in your life spend a few hours at most to read the Quran in your own native translation and decide for yourself whether it was sent or written by an ordinary person with limited knowledge or not.
Many of us spend years essentially doing nothing, wasting our times while a few hours spent on reading and then deeply thinking about it might change our lives for eternity.

The problem with what you say is that there is no void of belief when their is suggestion.

If a person never had an idea of God, because he had never felt God, and had never had the idea of God suggested to him, then there might be a lack of belief. But since the so-called atheists that think about, talk about, or flaunt their atheism, have had the idea of God enter their mind, there is no longer any void. There is only belief in the possibility that God exists... at least until such a time that they find out that God exists.

Why is there only belief in the possibility that God exists? Because they know that they are not smart enough to determine that God cannot exist under any and every circumstance and location in the universe.

Atheism is not a belief system nor is it a religion.

While there are some religions that are atheistic (certain sects of Buddhism, for example), that does not mean that atheism is a religion. To put it in a more humorous way: If atheism is a religion, then not collecting stamps is a hobby.

Despite the fact that atheism is not a religion, atheism is protected by many of the same Constitutional rights that protect religion. That, however, does not mean that atheism is itself a religion, only that our sincerely held (lack of) beliefs are protected in the same way as the religious beliefs of others. Agnostic isn’t just a “weaker” version of being an atheist. It answers a different question. Atheism is about what you believe. Agnosticism is about what you know.

Not all non-religious people are atheists, but…

In recent surveys, the Pew Research Center has grouped atheists, agnostics, and the “unaffiliated” into one category. The so-called “Nones” are the fastest growing “religious” demographic in the United States. Pew separates out atheists from agnostics and the non-religious, but that is primarily a function of self-identification. Only about 5% of people call themselves atheists, but if you ask about belief in gods, 11% say they do not believe in gods. Those people are atheists, whether they choose to use the word or not.

Even more people say that their definition of “god” is simply a unifying force between all people. Or that they aren’t sure what they believe. If you lack an active belief in gods, you are an atheist.

Being an atheist doesn’t mean you’re sure about every theological question, have answers to the way the world was created, or how evolution works. It just means that the assertion that gods exist has left you unconvinced.

Wishing that there was an afterlife, or a creator god, or a specific god doesn’t mean you’re not an atheist. Being an atheist is about what you believe and don’t believe, not about what you wish to be true or would find comforting.

All atheists are different
