We've all found ourselves in a world were one particular profession is prioritize than another because of the selfish interest of those involved, before it used to be that everyone want to be a teacher because of the way teachers were been treated, they enjoy almost thesame benefits, salaries and allowances as with doctors lawyers and other professional field regardless of being in developed area or not since it's by posting, sone teachers will also prefer the remote areas were they could have less expenses for a living, but not more future plan for teachers nowadays not to talk of giving them all the necessary and required incentives and allocations for teaching job, I've seen some instances whereby teachers uses their salaries to help facilitate teaching aids in schools, government aren't bothered about education anymore but got distracted by politics since money is involved.

Teachers have an huge impact on the growth and progress of society . After home that Is considered as your first school,your teachers are your makers . They can help you become a successful human being and they can help you selecting and opting correct field for your future.  I have seen many bright and intelligent students opting wrong fields for future and suffering because of that.  Enjoying and loving your job is extremely important for your success. In developing countries teachers dnt get due respect and rewards depending upon their role in society . Doctors, engineers they are paid and rewarded more.

I think as much. I'm not sure if developed countries reward teachers with low salary. This poor treatment of teachers is common in developing countries, if you check in countries where teachers are giving peanuts you will see that money is being spent by politicians excessively but nothing write home about when it comes to teachers.

The important role of teachers in the society cannot be overemphasized. After the home, which is the first school for the child, the teachers are the next in line to help mold the child to become a better citizen.

 But in the place where I'm from, teachers are less respected compared to the doctors, engineers and the rest and as such, not much value is placed on them. It's comfortable to owe teachers their salaries and even the government turn a blind eye to some of their needs and as such these people tend to act unconcerned whether students are been imparted upon or not.
Before we honor the doctors and lawyers of this world, let's first give the teachers their due.

indeed the teacher has an important role in life, successful people now are not far from the teacher,

and the teacher is not just a school teacher,
Even people who teach you good things are considered teachers.

so we all have to respect the teachers who have educated us, especially at school, they are also our second parents.

of course we all know how the teachers have been working tirelessly in giving out quality education on children who are the future leaders of tomorrow, but yet when we are to talk about their pay in wages, it's nothing to write about because they get so little in return to what they are giving out, but i want to believe that despite this challenge, not every country treat their teachers in such manners, they have a payment scale accredited by the government as minimum wage which they all follows especially in the advance and developed countries unlike the underdeveloped ones that does not have a standard for teachers salary.

Save a lot of money. Drop the teacher pay down to minimum wage or less. After all, the kids can learn more on their own without the teachers. That's what the records seem to be showing.

It is never easy to be a teacher,because a teaching takes alot of sacrifices,and those sacrifices are done by only the people who have decided to give their all to the profession that they are into.
Teaching requires impacting knowledge to people who are eager to get it.Teachers should be appreciated because they contribute to the creation of human being

  I think this year were very special in every student and teacher, cause the normal life of teaching are going on. Every student are excited to go in school since the day that they expect last year was ruin their expectations. But now I know more student will be active and productive. An we're thankful to our beloved teacher who sacrifice everything in time of pandemic.

But teachers of children SHOULD be poorly paid. Why? Because most of them don't really know how to think, even about what they are teaching. They are rote teachers, simply parroting what they have learned in teaching college. The only time they finally might understand is after they have been teaching the same classes for 2 or 3 decades.

The few teachers who really know what they are talking about, and understand the deeper meanings, gradually move into higher teaching schools... colleges and universities. Or they quit and go on into a field that is more rewarding.

Pay the teachers what they are worth... babysitter pay, like while the parents are out at a movie.

Definitely! In some countries teachers are very badly paid. And you are right, they are the basis of the social system in general

I have a different idea to this. I think there are levels to this and in as much as the profession might look as though they are under paid, the few who did a good job are often appreciated by there students and that's where the real reward should be.
It might be a profession, a paid job but still, you owe it to your teacher as a learned person if you choose to reward them for the many years they've put into making you become what you indeed become. It's as simple as that should you as an individual not be satisfied with what they are paid.

Right from time teachers have been  underrated when it comes to the amount of their payment,  sometimes I feel it is impossible for teachers to be rewarded in time coming. The only thing I can say is that teachers are indeed heroes in this world we belong to. What surprises me most about teachers is that they do their work with happiness.

   Teachers deserves to be paid and rewarded more the truth is that everybody is a born teacher because God created us to teach people about his words meaning spreading the good news about Jesus Christ.
   Parents are the first teachers that teach their kids from infant till they get to two years on how to talk,walk and so on.At this age kids ask so many questions about things they want to know and you must tell them.
   In kindergarten, the teacher does mostly baby sitting but I bet you that is the hardest class in teaching because you must love the children, meaning you tolerate every negative act or habit to make sure the child is always happy coming to school. They are also taught how to pronounce the numbers and alphabet or even how to hold a pencil properly.In everything we do these days in real life we use numbers and alphabets.
 
   In primary school teachers starts teaching and building up these children to bring out the best in them. Topics like drug abuse abuse, personal hygiene, sex education and so on,which are very helpful in real life practice.
   In secondary school trigonometry is a topic that also have a life solving for example,a ladder is 10m long resting on a vertical wall of 8m high.Find the distance of the foot of the ladder from the wall. An electrical engineer that want to repair or work on an electric pole must follow this steps or any work to be done with a ladder follows this procedure in our real life practice. In fact most science fields are real life practice, football academy is a school,it is also a real life practice.

   Even the bitcoin that we all have knowledge on today that brought everyone into this forum was introduced to us by someone or we even paid to get the knowledge on how to trade and mining, that person who introduced or taught you is ayour teacher.To create a website you must know BODMAS,which is also taught in schools.
   Teachers don't only educate us academically but also morally and technically. Is just that teachers varies some teach in schools and some in other learning environment. We should respect and reward the teachers more as we are all teachers, the difference is that there are good and bad teachers. Which one of them are you ? No teachers.....No civilization

Teachers right from time have been well neglected in the society despite the indispensable role they play in the society. Without teachers am not sure any sector or discipline will be.

This less regards giving to teachers especially in the third World society has made many up coming generation have no interest in the teaching profession.
Let us uphold teachers to a limelight for they are like the light of every society.

Truth be told teachers belong to the most useful professionals in the society. I can't just imagine the world without a teacher, no matter how intelligent one might be, teaching is still required to bring out the best in you. Truly teachers deserve more accolades and rewards as form of encouragement for them to do more in training the future leaders of the our planet earth.

I must agree that teachers have the right to get more especially for every teacher who serves and gives his life for the totality of education for the marginalized or people in the jungle. There are many stories of teachers who devoted their lives only to educate and provide knowledge.

In my country, especially the remote Papua region, it is very vulnerable to internal conflicts between ethnicity, politics and social inequality. there are some teachers who are willing to devote their lives just to serve and provide education to those who are often used as propaganda tools. 

In other areas (Island Lampung) there are several inland tribes whose lives are nomadic, there is a young female teacher from the city who is willing to sacrifice her life just to become a teacher in the middle of the wilderness. he doesn't even get a salary from the central or local government, or donations from outside parties, he does it voluntarily. for me he or the teacher I was talking about were heroes without merit. This is just one true story that has inspired me a lot from the stories of other teachers around the world.

Teachers deserve more no doubt about that,  it is so sad in the world teachers are not value they all receive the same treatment of not receiving better allowance. I don't know why government have nor look into the reward of teachers,  because of the treatment teachers are giving teaching job looks very common to many.
