So this is true? I posted on the first page expressing my concern of this being fake. But I cannot seem to find something official from telegram? Could anyone point me in the right direction. This ICO will be worth investing in if it's real.

Why does telegram need the blockchain for this? Can they do this without the blockchain

Fundraising most likely. Startups often go through many rounds of financing over a number of years as they grow. Until they are profitable, this is needed.
Are they still asking ID's for their ICO? All those who sumbitted their ID, I hope they will treat your ID with care.
Another example of a project that doesn't need blockchain. Still, that won't stop it attracting a ton of money.
This is going to blow up! I can see this going through the roof with the amount raised. Never had an ICO that has a great product and such a large amount of users.

This is going to be huge! I can see them destroying the biggest amount raised. I have never seen a company with such a good product and already user base launch an ICO.
I think this will be a very successful ICO, I don't think we have seen an ICO with such a great working product before the launch of their ICO. I am expecting this one to break the record for the most raised.
Absolutely right, Telegram ICO will have a great success and I believe that investors will get the coolest income. However, too many people are ready to invest into this project. Hope that Telegram will do that it plans successfully.

Until there is an official confirmation of this event, then talk about it is useless. There are already many examples where people were misled by various promises. Time will tell us.

But as i know, i also about this news, tron is really backed by telegram.
I think this is one of the big promissing ico recently. Dont miss out.
I am no expert, but from my experiance I can say that If you start to believe ICO is not a scam, it is probably a scam.
This pre-sale would likely be announcemed on Telegram, right?
If this goes through it will be the biggest ICO of them all! I shudder to think the amount they could raise. They already have a huge userbase and a great working product...
Scam only presents on Internet, you can find nothing official. I think somebody trying to make money from the air and create hype over Telegram, ICO, blockchain and similar. It is fun
