Can someone tell me how long was the delay? And did notifications really repeat themselves?
I’m on my phone (PC is bricked), so can’t check anything right now, sadly…

with the command /setMerit X (the 'X' stands of course for the number of merits achieved) you can bring your merit account back to the correct status and have it displayed again

Jokes apart, it's a weird thing having delayed merits, I thought it would have been immediate notification or lost forever notification!

Not trying to whine, but I'll be the fourth to report this current issue, so I think it's safe to say the problem is widespread. If it helps, suppose someone wanted to rebalance their merit count manually like Ratimov did, but didn't know how, the command is,
with "X" is the value you want the bot to show.

i have also received and perceived these messages this night, as you can see, these 3 merits were already awarded to me a few hours ago (where i also received a notification at the same time)

There is a little error there that I want to report you:
Some hours ago, I received 2 merits from two person, each from one.

And here is the notification that sent me the last two merit notification twice and summarized them and counted that I have 420 merit.
I don't know why that happened and idk what problem this bot has with me because in the past I wasn't getting notifications if you remember

Hi TryNinja I've been using your bot for a few months and it's truly spectacular. I hadn't noticed that it can be used within groups and therefore I did a test but since the telegram group is in topic mode, when the bot is added I can't set the topic in which it has to send messages. Not sure if this has already been reported. Some bots are able to send messages in a single topic by calling it with a command in the topic itself, if that helps. Either way you did a great job.
I need a group with 200 members to create a group with topics, so I have no idea how to test and develop this. Also, /r/Telegram is private since people are boycotting reddit the last few days, where I would normally find the solution. 
I'll see what I can do.

I can make available the Italian Bitcoin Talk Italia group/forum which has nearly 400 members if you don't have one available.
Edit: But now Telegram has changed the rules and you can create a topic group even without 200 participants.

Just astounding tool that I discovered on the forum. May be something that I was willing to have since very long long time. I just used your service and this bot is something that everyone Bitcointalk user needs. 
Since we can’t ever understand what’s happening with our account (merits, mentions, new topics etc etc) without logging into the browser account. But this bot is just wow.
To be honest I even played with it. Tried to send wrong info about username and also tried to ask for help with UID, so just to see what it replies. Surprisingly you have the tutorial for the same. The bot does tell us how to work with it.

Thank you for this. I had run the character limit command for some days now and did not notice any change in the character limit, although I did not pay much attention to it at the time.Just headed over here now to seek a solution to it and saw your reply straight away.

No. They do use my API for some features in their browser extension, but no recent issues had nothing to do with it.
