My prediction of Rune having higher winning probability won, and I didn't expect the final to be a win from him. Once again Tsitsipas failed to win the trophy. Rune have won in the direct sets and this makes it a bad performance from Tsitsipas. Atleast he could've managed to take the match towards the third set. Now, Tsitsipas is to play against Djokovic in Vienna Open. We already knew the result for the match.
Tsitsipas tried better in the second set there was a chance for him, but Rune did not give the slightest chance for his opponent to make it down. Tsitsipas is a good player but unfortunately he often disappoints even at important moments.
Waiting for what he can do to overcome Djokovic

Felix AA had a massive service advantage over Gasquet which paid out for him when both
sets went to tie breaks. I was really impressed by Gasquet,  he is a very creative player and pulled
out some crazy shots.

Felix AA is favourite for another win here.
Gasquet is a class act on the pitch all the way, age and injuries have taken their toll in the last couple of years and I did not expect him to get back to these levels again. I guess he decided there is still time for another resurgence on the tour.

Didn't watch any match in this tournament but knowing the players and their capabilities I am a bit surprised by result. Rune is a great player but he has a lot of problems with consistency and i feel like Tsitisipas should have been more than able to use that to his advantage.

The antwerp atp semifinals seem promising, thiem vs corda and aliasime vs gasquet, gasquet is a huge underdog despite the good performance he showed in this competition so far i think he will pose a big threat for the canadian i think a handicap for gasquet is a really good bet, and on the second game it seems difficult to predict both players made a great comeback recently i think we might see a three sets war.

Korda won against Thiem 2-1 and now is in the final and i was just thinking that this was the time he would win the tournament. Auger leading 1-0 in sets against Gasquet and looks like another final for him and maybe a chance to win two tournament in a row.

I got to see the last sets of each match. Thiem did really well to win a set, I think next year
for sure he will be a big challenger.

@btc_angela for me personally he’s a mixed package, because whenever I start to feel that he’ll win he tends to lose so for a change I’m happy that he won his match and has now progressed to the semis. Also now I hope that he wins this tournament, because he seems really focused this time round and it’ll be really disappointing if he loses in the semis or in the finals and lastly anyone here thinking that he’ll win the finals if he makes it?.

I agree with you. He is a talented player and has played some great matches but he is not constant enough. I think a lot of people expected a lot more of Tsitsipas but it hasn't come out yet. He is only 24 years old so he got some time also.

Tsitsipas had a competent performance against Ymer. I think this was somewhat expected for a lot of people. Tsitsipas has been playing well recently. After his previous win against Cressy. He made a remarkable comeback in that match. And obviously looking at the skills of Tsitsipas, it was easy to predict that he was going to win against Ymer.

Against Ruusuvuori, Tsitsipas had a very convincing performance as well. Another two-set win for Tsitsipas.

The other one is De Minaur vs Rune.

In De Minaur vs Rune, Rune was the winner.

And for Tsitsi backers, he won against Ymer, I wasn't able to watch the match, but it was just a 2 set win by Tsitsi, score is 7-5, 6-3. It seems that Ymer give everything in the first set, unfortunately, Tsitsi is really focused on the game and didn't give Ymer a chance to even it and force a 3rd set.

Ruusuvuori defeated Tiafoe in the other match, setting a semis between the two.

The other one is De Minaur vs Rune.
Tsitsipas have played as usual not letting the match move to the third set. Ymer wasn't able to do much in the second set. During the first set he tried the best to win, but things didn't work.

Now it is Ruusuvuori vs Tsitsipas, which is gonna have the same result as the Quarter Final.

On the match De Minaur vs Rune, I find the chances high with Rune though the odds were in favour of De Minaur.

I checked on who is Tsitsi potential opponent is and it's a tough one,

it's either defending champion Tommy Paul or home favourite Mikael Ymer.

Nevertheless I also see another tough match for Tsitsi for either of this player and I do agree that this match might be extended to a full 3 sets as both Paul and Ymer is tough, and so this is a close one for Tsitsi, but I wlll not be surprised that he will go to the semifinals of this tournament.

Tsitsipas with the winning form will continue to overcome Ymer without much of difficulty. In the match against Maxime Cressy he was in a tough situation and he took it forward winning in the direct set after hard fight. As said, there is more chances of match moving to the third set and both the players of the similar age will have a game comprising lengthy rallies.
I checked the schedule and it seems that it will be Tsitsipas vs Ymer in the QF.

Ymer won over Tiafoe in a 3 setter with 2 games going into a tie break.

And in another QF match, it's Shapovalov vs De Minaur, so far Alex won the first set 6-2, but the second set is very close right now. I'm not going to bet, but I'm seeing De Minaur winning in 3 sets, or maybe can cover the handicap.

I was just going to check who was left in the tournament and in all likelihood Tsitsipas
should be able to win given the form he is in. There might be interesting betting opportunities
from here on Tsitsipas. He is 1.24 v 3.95 against Ymer and at -5 he is 2.26!

I was checking over at Antwerp and interestingly Thiem has made it through so far
and faces Hurkacz which will be difficult.

It must be said that Tsitsipas has played a really good game in this match. His performance was simply better than that of his opponent. In almost every aspect of the game, he outplayed his opponent. I think it was expected to some extent by a lot of people.

However, at the same time, the match was quite close as well. He had a tough fight against his opponent Cressy.

Now it will be interesting to see who Tsitsipas is going to face next in this tournament. He is quite a big favorite in this Stockholm open.

Tsitsipas has set a high level of expectation for himself by playing well so far and especially after winning the last match. In the last match at times, it feels like he might fall short. But he eventually won the match. After that type of performance, it is quite easy to have some high expectations from him.

He is going to play against Ymer, and I also agree that he should not face too many difficulties in that match. Even if he does I think you will be able to overcome those difficulties as he did against Cressy.

PS: I agree with @KennyR that Tsitsipas should be the winner in his next match as well.

Nice win by Tsitsipas tonight in Stockholm against Maxime Cressy.
Even with nice odds on the first set since the Greek was quoted up to @1.90 ( I was able to take a nice/comfortable @1.60).
Tsitsipas must be followed into this tournament. He is the first player of the seed, and he is playing at high level.
For sure he deserve some attention...
There is also a new entry into this tournament, the Czech player Jiri Lehecka. He has won against Dimitrov with some nice shot.
He is only 20 yo.
Tsitsipas has an amazing chance to win this tournament and finally win a trophy he is playing good and he has a good draw. Lehecka pulled a really big win against Dimitrov and Dimitrov had the win in the bag but just didnt focus enough in the tie break and went from 5-2 lead to 5-7 in the tie break
I totally missed this one, I'm a big Tsitsipas fans but lately his game is going down. And so it's good to hear to win. He is the top seed in this tournament so hopefully he can live up to the billing.
The Tsitsipas match though is very close against Cressy, it was two tie break set. So hopefully whoever he plays next in the quarter finals tomorrow, it will be a good match or possibly 3 setter as I will bet on the Over.

Andy Murray is a tennis legend, one of the greatest tennis players in history, but unfortunately two factors in his career prevented him from becoming an even bigger and better tennis player.
The first fact is that he played in the era of the three greatest tennis players in history, and the second fact is his numerous injuries that ruined his tennis career.
If it weren't for that, his tennis career would have been even bigger.
It's obvious how much he loves playing tennis and that it is difficult for him to end his tennis career, but it is obvious that it will happen soon.
But still though, he hold his piece against the era of big 3 and we can even insert his name there that's why there is big 4. But the injury though,  he had numerous injuries, but the last one really ruined it for him and we can call it career ending injuries.

And he tried to make a comeback in his career, play good matches but we know that he won't win any trophy at this point and just a matter of time before he quit.

As a player, he is a competent one, and he has always been competitive in what he does. Although he played at a high level, he could not compete at the level of the other incredibly talented players who played at the same time as him. At this point in his age, he is nearing the end of his career. Consequently, I do not think any fan should have unrealistic expectations about what he can achieve in the future. It would be foolish for any fan to expect big things from him. However, I also believe his competitive nature is going to be able to keep him motivated for at least two more years, if not longer. After that, he will eventually retire.

He was a great player. He just got overshadowed by other great players in my opinion.

There is essentially no way for him to win bigger tournaments anymore. I mean, never say never and so on and so forth, but given he has this artificial hip joint as far as I know, I would be shocked if he ever played a tournament again where he would be able to beat the best of the best even in maybe five set long fights, managing his pain, even more important his overall mobility and precision. I just can't see how that is humanly possible when you are facing more or less completely healthy bodies.

Yes I know that Rafael Nadal is said to play with pain as well, but as to my knowledge he has no steel plates in his body and does get medication? Murray's injury, a hip joint, is something I would deem so incredibly important for a tennis player to make it to the absolute top.
