Regarding this - I'd love a Zverev - Medvedev final. Their H2H is really interesting, when they were younger Zverev had no trouble with Medvedev at all. Recent games however all went the opposite side and a GS final might increase their rivalry a bit more as well - and we will need that once the Big 3 starts to retire.

Just watch games in the women's side, it's also very exciting, although I've lost the last time betting on the favourite, I should have listen to my gut feeling that this youngsters are going to take over this grand slam.

Of course, Zverev vs Medvedev will also be great, and just like on the women's side, it might signify that a new generations are taking over. Federer might likely retire next year and so is Nadal. Only one left is Dkojovic to keep the torch alive for the old generation.

I never watch any women's sports but I think I'll watch the final tomorrow. That's also a big possibility, Zverev somewhat pulling one here from Djokovic, so over 38.5 for this match? I'm going to bet on this, if ever Zverev wins, it could be in 4 or 5 sets. I doubt he can get and win against Djokovic in 3 sets.

It did, we are not going to see as two teenagers are going to face in the finals, Fernandez vs Raducanu, this is huge for the ladies side. Both are playing exceptionally well and it's very difficult to predict unless you are a fan of either one of them.

Everything you said about Djokovic is true and it will be tough match. I feel like that better form and confidence Zverev got in Olympic games will be just enough to win it.

Medvedev plays great but he will crumble if pushed to the limit. Just the opposite of Djokovic.

My bet today will be on Zverev, skipping the other match or going for over.

It was predetermined, the draw is known at the beginning of the tournament. Zverev was in Đoković's half, so the only place where they could have met is the semifinal.

I remember seeing a young Sharapova upsetting Serena in 2004, and I see the same desire in these two teens but I hope they’ll have a better carrier then she did. Also Sabalenka will need to work on her distraction due to the fans, because if she wants to become a great player then she’ll have to learn to ignore them while the match is on.

Fernandez played amazing, actually Sabalenka too but Fernandez was able to control the situation in the last set, seem's Sabalenka was a little annoyed with the spectators who favored Fernandez even though I think this is normal.

For Fernandez fans out there, she won over Sabalenka, so now we are going to witnessed new dawn in the women's side. two teenagers on the other hand are still fighting it out, Radunacu and Sakkari, hard to see how this match will ended, those kids are very strong and mentally tough as well.

And it seems that there are a lot of fans of this three, and for sure they are going to carry the torch at this young age, very bright future for them.

Just placed a bet on over 38.5 games @1.85, which should be achievable as chances are quite high that we will see 4 or even 5 sets. I am hesitant to maybe also place a small bet on Zverev to win as I tend to agree with you and Trofo that Zverev is playing really well and he already upsetted Djokovic in the Olympics so it is possible that he can do it again.

We will see, a lot of surprises in the ladies side. they are now in the first set, too close to call, but Sabalenka leading 5-4, but Fernandez serving to stay on the match.

I think this is one of the most important tennis matches we are going to see in a very long time because it also has a deep meaning for the competition between the new and the old generation. If Zverev beats him here, he might beat him in any major's final, which is what Djokovic wants to prevent from happening as he is reaching for the record. But look at Serena Williams, everyone thought she is going to blast through the existing record, but then she got stuck like nobody would have ever expected. It could be kind of similar if Zverev does beat Djokovic in a convincing way here.

Well its normal on this tournament. He has an amazing chance to write history and i think no one can stop him. He has two steps left to try and win the calendar grand slam. Against Zverev and probobly against Medvedev for the title. Like Roddick says Djokovic first comes for your legs then for your soul and he is right now one can go against Djokovic in 4 or 5 sets

I think that an almost unique possibility like that hinders even a player with a lot of experience like Djokovic. Now that this pressure is off his shoulders he can play freely again and he is without a doubt the big favorite to win his match against Zverev and afterwards the US Open title.

Sakkari had one of those history making matches against Pliskova.
Not dropping any points on her serve expect for the every last game. Before that she had 22 service points in a row.
Couldn't see any womens match have this happen. I know Serena dropped points on her serve every often and she was known as the world number 1 in womens tennis for a long time before the birth of her child a few years ago.

The one to watch is the 18 & 19 year olds face off to see who can out last who coming up to the finals. Wink
