I watched second set from Nadal match yesterday and he looked like his old self. As I said earlier I don't see how anybody can make problems for him on clay before final where he will probably meet Djokovic.

Odds on Musseti don't make any sense. How can he be favorite against Nishikori Usually the bookies are much slower to adjust the odds of upcoming players. I was expecting to play a nice handicap on him and now I will skip this match. Nishikori is out of form and Musseti could easily win here or lose and win first set with result like 6:0. Maybe I will put something live after the game starts.

For starters I have a nice multi with Raonic @1.5, Pavic/Soares @1.5 and Babos/Zhang @1.45

Nadal on clay on his day is simply unplayable.
Busta is a good player but he looked so out of his place. Raonic will win more games because he's a great server but if Nadal continues like he played against Busta, it will be over in 2 sets as well.

I am also surprised to see Musetti is suddenly a favorite against good players, it makes sense to go with a handicap on Nishikori. He'll frustrate Musetti with his defensive game.

did you bet on Raonic, since you are certain that he is going to beat Lajovic today?
it is a good quote @1.4, and you already seen Raonic against Nadal, i think that he is a bit of favorite and @1.4 is a good value, but Lajovic is good on clay, while Raonic does not have some great strikes on clay

Musetti is set as a favorite with Nishikori by bettors, i will put something on handicap for Nishikori - -2.5 @1.65 seems as good choice

I tried betting on tennis yesterday and I lost all bets hehe. However, from my casual eye, I noticed that the Italians were winning against the players who are favored to win. This might not be a coincidence, I reckon. Italian mafia?

I am looking for something to blame for my losses hehehehe.

Yes mate, it was really a disappointment again from Tsitsipas, although I have a back up on Zverev in the US Open. I think his form is off right now, and he seems he can't get over mentally and he is breaking down and not that consistent anymore. I already lost my bet, so I won't try to stretch my luck in this tournament. Probably will just wait for the outcome, haven't check the draw but it will be good if we are going to see Nadal vs Djokovic.


As expected, Busta didn't offer much resistance, 6-1, 6-1 easy win for him. He will be going against Raonic next. Djokovic vs Filip Krajinović tomorrow.

Stefanos Tsitsipas let us down again, we can see he has a lot of talent but these poor performances put me off betting on him. I bet on him to win the US Open only for some value but he is a risky bet until he is more consistent because right now he isn't. I thought that once he won the second set that he would go on and win the match but that third set was poor from him and was beaten 6-2 by an unseeded player. I think he still needs more time to mature and become more consistent with his tennis.

Nadal is through with an easy win which we expected and same with Djokovic winning easy in straight sets.

Dispite his good fight in second set he is going to lost this match as already broke in third set and now trailing by 3 - 0 now my feeling is he need some good practice for coming matches because after losing in US open he lost his touch and now not able to perform good hopefully we will able to watch his goood game in next few tournaments.

seems that he will be back for third set after all, so much ups and downs in his play today, he could finished second without tie-break, but it will not be complicated as he obviously like it
think that if they reach third set, he will secure next round, despite lousy play

Look like he is completely out of touch going to lost this match very badly after losing first set now already broken in second and have no chance to fight back but still we can hope he will fight and give tough time to opponent because he is good and talented player for future in tennis.

Tsitsipas lost first game 1:6, i have put a bet on him now, it is @3, worth a try after Cilic bet
Djokovic made it easily to third round, but that was expected, seems that Ceccinato or Krajinovic could not make him a trouble in next round as well

There was a lot of value on Cilic as he dominated Goffin in 2 sets (6-2 ; 6-2).

I haven't heard yet of Musetti, so will need to look him up. Always nice to discover new talents  .

Cilic started well with a break in first Goffin game, seems that he is on a good road today, especially for your handicap, but think that he can go through as well

I have an early Tennis multi which has safer versions of those bets you mentioned. I have Cilic +4.5 and Djoko -5.5.

I also added Azarenka to win against V. Wiliams. Venus is usually having a lot of difficulties with her movement and condition on clay so Azarenka in form should win this one easy.

And my last pick on multi is Coria +5.5 against Beretini. I am a bit afraid regarding this one since I never watched Coria play but according to stats he is in great form and Beretini usually wins by holding his serve and not breaking much so I hope this will pass.

All the games have odds @1.55-1.60 which gives nice multi odds @6.3

He looked really well yesterday but I don't think there will be money to be maid from following him. Odds on Stan were 1.4 yesterday so bookies knew that Museti has a lot of potential.

I also liked his play a lot and he could be one of the greats in few years time if he continues to develop. He has all the shots but he often goes for too risky choices in situations when much simpler and easier to execute attack would have been enough. That is something that will come with the experience.

Tennis needs easy to watch players like him so I hope he will succeeded I would have killed myself if I had to watch another set of Nishioka for instance. Yes he won against better ranked player and congrats for that but he will never be a fan favorite.

Musetti really surprised me yesterday. It was my first time watching him, never actually heard of him before. I saw Wawrinka lost 1st set 6-0 and had to see what was happening.

The guy is playing amazing tennis, he's already a complete player. He's also interesting to watch because he changes the rhythm of the game often - he played probably 20 dropshots yesterday.

I'll keep track of him, yesterday he looked like a future grand slam title contender.

Lorenzo Musetti won the final match convincingly. In first set he was able to win 6-0 which is amazing performance. In second set Stan Wawrinka showed some resistance but Lorenzo was able to win it too by 7-6. He has been able to achieve a ITF juniors ranking 1st in the world.

yeah, will put some money on Cilic, will have time to follow it today, and it is a good quote, i think that both have similar chances, and @2.75 it is a good bet on Cilic, he pulled through first round somehow, while Goffin is playing his first in Rome this season
will combine it with Djokovic, at -6.5, think that even if lose a set, he will pull it through at the end

Lorenzo Musetti's game is truly phenomenal, seeing his game against Wawrinka I was very happy, and very beautiful game.  It is rare for a player
with the age of 18 to have the ability like Musetti, I think it deserves to win if we look at the ability of power with one handed backhand is incredible
skill by Musetti. Very talented tennis player who belongs to Italy.

Thanks for this, I think we should keep an eye on this kid, although he is  a ITF juniors ranking of 1 in the world, so there's a lot of potential on him.

Raonic is thru on the next round and and looming showdown with Nadal.

Are we seeing another young talent on the rise? Lorenzo Musetti has dominated his match against Stan Wawrinka, it was Musetti first ATP win of his career and if he can continue on with this form he might upset some more top seeded players in this tournament. 

 

Even with this handcap still this is risky bet as Nadal never lost against Busta and lost just 1 set in last few years but busta done good in US Open and Nadal is out of game for some time this can go in favour of busta otherwise its going to be very easy match for Nadal and he can win with under score as well.
