Odd for Busta +6.5 games is around @1.7.

I just played it at Sportsbet with 1.81 odds (used multiplier). That is a big handicap, on 2 sets - I think it's enough for Busta.

I combined it with Čorić, he should be beating Travaglia. Didn't bet on Čilić - Goffin, but that one's probably the best one to watch.

Nadal has won in Rome 9 times already so if he is playing with one leg as cryptofrka mentioned he is still a favorite here. Only player who can dictate points on clay against Nadal is Thiem and he is not playing.

Maybe he is out of match fitness and Busta could be a tough opponent for the first match. If they met deeper in tournament I believe Nadal would win easy but in this first match handicap on Busta could work well. Especially if bookies offer something ridiculous like 7.5 and they usually do against Nadal. After that first tricky match I don't see who could stop him all the way to the final and in final only if Djoko gets there.

Apparently the bookies think the same as the odd for over 2.5 sets is @4.4, which is high. I placed a small bet on this, only low stake as I don't like to bet against Nadal  Grin.

Ok let's move on to Rome - Italian Masters.

Finally we are going to see Nadal here, and what a way to return that going up against Busta (US Open semi-finalist). But head to head, Nadal leads 5-0, no offense to his compatriot but this is Nadal's favourite court. And if he win, who's he gonna face next? Western & Southern Open finalist Milos Raonic. Not an easy draw for Nadal, but I think he can reach the finals again.

Both of them would cause Nadal a lot more problems on hard surface - especially Raonic. I don't know if Nadal is in good form or not but as long as he's got 1 leg and can still hold a racquet, he'll be my favorite on clay.
I'm guessing that Nadal is still in form, despite not playing in the US Open. And he has rested his body fully enough in this pandemic. And again, this is clay, his specialty.

Maybe a handicap on Busta would be a good bet, as you say, he's coming to Rome full of confidence and in top form.
Maybe Nadal woke up in the wrong side of the bed and Busta pulling an upset. who knows.

We can only guess what the form will be of Nadal. Training is not the same as match rhythm. For Carreno busta we know he is in good form, so if the odds are OK, I would also place a handicap bet on him.

yeah, it is a hard rival for the first match on the tournament after six months break
Nadal is the king of clay, but Busta could take a set for sure, not sure about complete upset, but handicap is really a good idea, did not think about it, but like it and probably will put something on it

Anyone taking Zverev to win tonight?

Thiem was my favorite as soon as Đoković was disqualified, but the odds with a boost are 4.20 on Zverev.

It's a final, I'm taking this for sure. Thiem is a better player and is in better form, but these odds are just silly. Even handicap is placed at 5,5.

My friend is betting on Zverev while i am going with Thiem who is favorite. In the last match Zverev lost the two initial sets and i am sure he can afford to do the same in this final match. Odds are good for both of these players.

I am lucky to bet on Thiem and won Smiley My friend was insist on Zverev but thanks god i did not listen him.

After the first two sets, i was disappointed but later when DominicThiem made a stunning comeback it surprised everyone. It is not easy to comeback in the match after losing two straight sets.

Congrats if you have bet on Thiem ahead because the odds are still good that time. Talking about Zverev though, I thought that he will win specially when he goes 2-0 and it seems that Thiem has somewhat tiring out. But it was a total collapse on Zverev part though, but then again, it is really a tough battle, and Thiem has what it got specially psychologically.

If you missed the match, you can still watch the Dominic Thiem vs Alexander Zverev | US Open 2020 Final Extended Highlights(HD) and US Open 2020 Final Highlights ● Choke Festival.
I will share the link of the full match once someone uploads it on youtube.

Thanks man! I just watched it and it only makes me feel worse Grin
These double faults in the deciding tiebreak must be so hard to take mentally.

A lot of unforced errors at the end from both players, but that's to be expected in the last set of the match. Zverev will really feel this defeat, I hope he recovers soon because he played a really good tournament.

Damn, I was close to hitting 4.20 odds. Shame, I planned to watch the match but fell asleep, I would have defended the ticket at 2-0 for Zverev.

If I saw correctly, he served for the win? And then Thiem broke twice in a row before losing his serve for the title?

I will find a match somewhere and watch the end of the last set, sounds like an epic ending.
This is really shocking result for me as I was watching this match Zverev won first 2 sets easily so I switch of T.V for walk away now today reading he lost his First Grand Slam in fifith set and its first time happen any GS decided on fifth set tie breaker very poor from Zverev as he lost very badly just due to many double faults but Thiem is really exciting player congrats to him for his first big win.

Zverev did the same in the semi finals. He lost first to sets to Pablo but then strong come back and win the last three sets. However the exact opposite happened in the final where he win the first two sets but then lost the last three sets. It was an exciting final to watch.  Smiley

I also think so when i watch yesterday, but after the win oft set 3 i watch to the end. Than at the 5th set and at the last games Thiem have also problems with bis legs. But Zverev make many double faults and Thiem are make not so many forhand faults than at the other sets. At the Ende amazing game and today a tired day 😂

Congrats to Thiem, I never thought his first GS title would be something other than RG. He is still much better clay player but he managed to take advantage of the situation and take a big one for himself.

I just watched parts of the match, mostly from 3rd set. The bookies were backing Thiem in this one all the way. He was still favorite @1.8 when he was 2 sets down with a break in the 3rd set. I wanted to place a bet on him but those odds were criminal.
I watch this match and end was really stunning as he was really on top of his game Zverev was also very good from start to end but too many double faults hurt him very badly more then 16 double faults in Final of Grand Slam is really as criminal offence hopefully now in future he could be some better as this lost is going to be a big lesson for him.

That is the odd part, he is a clay player, but I guess he really wanted to win this year's US Open and take advantage of the situation and it really paid off. And with this win, it could boost his confidence of winning another Grand Slam besides clay. Congrats to him, Zverev also deserves the accolade, he just fell short and Thiem really took his game to the next level. It was a massive comeback for him, down two sets. And it looks like this is theme in the finals, as both Osaka and Thiem was a come from behind, well deserved this two.

yeah, i did not expect from Thiem to come back after two sets, or to put it in a perspective i expected from him to win set or two, but not to win the match

Zverev said that it is not his last chance, agree on that, but it was his best chance to win first one, think that he will have to wait for another chance a bit longer

congrats to Thiem, it is a big deal, and he is now really close to no.2 (RG away), or maybe no.1 after AO with performance like this one
