I thought Rublev would of giving more of a fight against Fognini as he was been in top form recently but it was the case here as Fognini won easily. The main match I'm interested in is the Tsitsipas match as he should win but he hasn't been in good form lately so I'm just not sure what to expect in this match. The Thiem and Murray match will be interesting as if Murray can win, it will give him huge confidence going into the semi-final and maybe give him the confidence to win this tournament, now that would be something special for him after being down for so long with injuries.

Yup, Rublev didn't offer any, perhaps it was just an off night for him.

Tsitsipas won but not after losing the first set against Basilashvili. Zverev won in two set against Felix Auger Aliassime. I thought Felix would give Zverev a run here, I guess Felix is still young and seems can't get the hump when facing rank opponents.

Querrey vs Diego Schwartzman was a thriller specially the first two sets.

On the womens side, Osaka beat Riske, will then face Andreescu in the quarter finals, this is a match I wanted to see. Osaka seems to be playing great lately so let's see how she will fare against Bianca here.

Looks like there are a lot of Andy Murray fans here, LOL.

Maybe not Murray fans, just Tennis fans were quite surprised to see that He could return to playing after a long injury.

So Murray is going on the semis with the number 1 seed Thiem here.

He will advance to semis if can win against Thiem. From the meeting records, Murray is 2-1 ahead of Thiem, but current situation will different, Thiem need to advance in Final if want to play in ATP Final end of this seasons.

So Murray is going on the semis with the number 1 seed Thiem here. This will be a big test for Andy, if he wins against Dominic then I'm sure his confidence is going to be skyrocketed. While Fognini vs Karen Khachanov. Karen performance is not that good this year, specially in the St. Petersburg Open wherein I expect him to go to the finals.

Zverev vs Felix Auger Aliassime is also another intriguing match to watch and so are the rest of the round of 16's.

Really looking forward to the Isner vs Evans match tomorrow in the Beijing challenger. I like Isner's style that he just slams those serves into the opponent's yard. Simple and fast you usually don't need to wait hours to watch the game and your bet ends up pretty quickly. And it is also pretty predictable. If you can watch the match live you will see if his opponent can handle the powerful serves. If not then Isner is usually a safe bet, but not take my word for it. Murray will see action against Norrie today he just won against Matteo Berrettini, which is a tough one. Love to see him get back into action and hope that he can advance and go into the Finals.
Quite surprise see Murray can play again and special He win against Matteo Berrettini who has 13 world rank. I don't think Murray can play Tennis again after the injury and think that He will retired from Tennis or He never play single again only play double like He did at Wimbledon last time this years.

Bringing back his confidence is the thing here, just like the rest of you guys,  I'm also quite surprised to see him won back to back against top players.

There's a lot of news that he really wanted to return, first he tested it on playing doubles then enter some single tournaments. But I'm sure as we all are tennis fans here, we wanted to see him coming back and play high level tennis again.

Murray win His match against Norrie, I don't watch the match just see the live score, first and second set played with tie break and in third set He win with easy. This is a good sight form Him to get self confidence to win again  in next round.

I was surprised when I saw murrays name in yesterdays match and placed a wager. I thought he would of been beat up by berrettini as well but he beat him in straight sets.
He was going to retire from tennis at wimbledon he was saying since last year.
Oh well. We all know sports players saying they will retire from their sport but always come back to play again. Undecided

Andy Murray is gaining his usual form, but he still does not have that agility to win the opponent's serve. In the last four matches he lost 3 sets and showed his best play only with Tennys Sandgren. Hope that british tennis star will find his game today in China, Cameron Norrie may become a real exam for today`s physical form of Murray.

@Royse777 - Gamblers will be gamblers, and that what makes tennis so great though, we never thought that our girl Barty will lost here, LOL.

It's time for China Open. There has been upsets already. Pliskova is already out losing to Jelena Ostapenko 7-5, 3-6, 7-5. I don't know how Ostapenko survived with 25 double faults.

On the men side, Thiem and Tsitsipas leads the way with but with the likes of Bautista Agut and  Berrettini, Monfils, Zverev, Fognini, Schwartzman so it's going to be exciting. Hasn't seen the odds though but I might throw a couple once we get into the QF here.

Are you thinking about putting a bet on your boy Tsitsipas? Thiem is ranked number 1 at this tournament but he hasn't been in good form recently so we could see one of the young talent win this one. So Tsitsipas might be a good bet to win even though his form hasn't been the best either but he is back playing on a hard court where he plays well so lets see how he does.

I'm on a tight spot right now, so I may have to pass this tournament. If I have extra money today, I would have to put some money on my boy here. Speaking of Tsitsipas he just won against Lajovic, most of the top seed had advance so far except for Bautista Agut who lost against Sam Querrey.

Murray will see action against Norrie today he just won against Matteo Berrettini, which is a tough one. Love to see him get back into action and hope that he can advance and go into the Finals.

Yeah he played well to come back from losing the first set, I didn't get to see the match which was a shame as I would of liked to of seen how well he played as I'm also thinking about putting a little money on him to win this tournament. We have a couple of good matches coming up with Murray and also the Rublev/Fognini match as Rublev has been in good form and he could upset the number 6 seed in this match.
Murray is back and trying to do good hopefully he will be good in next matches for this tournament I am not sure he can reach in last four because we have some very good and exciting players and they all doing good for Rubely he is also in good touch and very hot favorite for win against Fogini I was thinking to bet some but after checking odds I drop this idea.

It would be nice to see Murray win another title again and these small tournaments can be just the right tournaments for him to win one as I can't see him winning another Grand Slam again as it takes a lot more to win a Grand Slam then these tournaments and its a lot less stress on the body with the maximum amount of sets at three instead of five in Grand Slams.

Bautista didn't lose, he forfeited the match fortunately. That made his match void and my ticket a winning one. I was working at time and couldn't watch the match but he was down one set and break in second. Then I saw medical timeout and my hopes went up....

Of course that only helps you if the bet was made on site which considers forfeit as void. Sportsbet counts them as void while Nitrogen and Wbet7 would count it as a regular Querry win.

~snip~

Its not just Women's tennis, we see this happen on the Men's side as well in these tournaments as the other ranked players seem to play well against the top ranked players. That is why I never really bet in these tournaments as we see a lot of upsets all the time.
Betting is small tournaments are risky, that's what I have learnt from my experience however men's side are much more predictable than women side.

~snip~
I’m lucky I didn’t give in my temptation to place a bet on Barty in the semis.
Same here lol. I consider myself lucky too. About Sabalenka - she has my attention now :-P
~snip~
You are right its happen many time with me now I am stopping betting in tennis matches
Men side is not that bad at all.

This girl Sabalenka!

This prediction gone wrong lol.
This is why I am not into women tennis.

I was expecting Barty A to win the semi and the final but this girl Sabalenka came from nowhere (LOL) and beat her in the semi. She did not stop there, she even won the final too. Congrats.

In the other side, Kvitova was frustrating too. She lost against an average player in the semi.

You are right its happen many time with me now I am stopping betting in tennis matches as its never been easy right now we are going for final ATP - SINGLES Zhuhai  between Mannarino A.  vs De Minaur A. and odds are very low for Minaur and I am expecting straight sets win for him but right now just watching nothing doing any other thing.

@Royse777 I’ll second that women tennis is very hard and at times can be unpredictable, I’m lucky I didn’t give in my temptation to place a bet on Barty in the semis. Also Sabalenka can become a big star if she continues giving performances like this, it’ll be interesting to see how she performs in bigger tournaments.
