Is Medvedev feeling the pressure now that's why he lost? He was really doing good this year and it seems that media is hyping him to be the next big player to come out and challenge the dominance of Djokovic, Nadal and Federer. However, I had a feeling that he succumb to tennis limelight this early and maybe he was out of focus. Or perhaps pushing himself very hard to chase Roger Federer, just saying.

Age is not slowing down Federer and the young Minaur was completely outclassed and he showed the difference between class and experience and as some of the opinions earlier it is a learning curve for the young Minaur as he is in his younger days of his career if he will take this as a learning experience then he will be able to improve his game, classic as always Federer as a fan i cherish these moments as we are witnessing greatness.Exactly, when everyone is saying that Federer is old and grumpy, he shows us good tennis as evident of winning this trophy for a record what? 10 times, damn. Superb win by D. Thiem as well. As I have predicted, Thiem will make a comeback on the last 2 sets. He gave up on the first set, but recovered and play. Thiem was broken 3 times in the first set, but bounce back as he broke Schwartzman early in the second set and never look back. Good win for Thiem, second trophy this month.

I would say that Stefanos Tsitsipas needs to go that hurdle and beat great players to be consider in the discussions as the new face of tennis, it's only Medvedev so far who has the chance to caught up Federer and break the top 3's dominance.

Dominic Thiem won against Matteo Berrettini, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3. Slow start of Thiem, however, he come back on the second set and dominated the third.

I really thought that StefanosTsitsipas would give Federer more of a challenge like he did in the AO but he was no match for Federer. Now we have the final Federer v Alex de Minaur. If Federer wins then he will finish the year ranked number 3, I still think he does even if he loses. Ironic mate, my boy Stefanos Tsitsipas is very inconsistent at this point. I really don't know if Federer has the big mental edge in this game or we are seeing Roger sort of getting in second win since he is obviously the crowd favorite to win this tournament. But Tsitsipas didn't offer anything during the match. Another player in my radar, Alex De Minaur, I hope he can give Federer a run for the money here. Tsitsipas is a talented player and there’s no doubt about it, but now he needs to get consistent and start winning more matches otherwise he’ll never break into top 3. Alex De vs Federer shall be an interesting match, and I hope Alex wins it because it’ll be an huge achievement for the Australian to beat a legend like Federer.
