Tsitsipas doesn’t needs to be upset because he lost the match to a legend, I hope he’ll learn from this loss and improve on his game. @Strongkored if Nadal and Djokovic meet in the finals then the match won’t just be for the cup, but also a battle to finish on the top of the rankings for this year.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is a really young player and he will take this as a learning experience and come back stronger. Nadal withdrew from the match and Denis Shapovalov is in the final to face Djokovic and this will be another title achievement for Novak Djokovic as he was dominating ever player and winning easily in straight sets and if you look at the record between the two i am expecting another domination from the world number 1.

I hope you had a doubt because if the injury scare Nadal is going through and now he is forced to withdraw in the semi final because of injury, his body has take a toll and he needs to have proper rest and rehabilitation before returning as the body will not perform like he once did in his younger days and the recover will take time as age moves
Yeah, injuries that often happen to him, even though he can get in place of Djokovic in first seed if able to get a champion in this tournament.

Djokovic vs Shapovalov, there will be many who predict that Djokovic will win this match easily, seeing the stats of the shapovalov against Djokovic, Shapovalov never yet beaten Djokovic and all happen this years.

WTA Finals in Final Rounds Barty vs Svitolina, could Svitolina be able to preserve a tittle in this tournament.

Usually in this kind of stage, top players like Djokovic elevated their game even higher, and as of the latest only D. Medvedev was able to win a couple of tournaments while the rest of the young players are still making a catch to the big 3. So yes, this could be another trophy for Djokovic and Shapovalov gaining experience for a losing cause.

I did not expect so even game... and this was not easy win for Novak Djokovic as you may think.
He is mentally very strong, and he broke opponent just in final moments in first set, and he was losing.
Well done Novak

Surprised to read that Nadal has re-injured his abdominal muscle again. Maybe age is showing already on this veteran players that's why unexpected or recurring injury happen to their body.

I think this is going to be an easy match for Djokovic, not downplaying Shapovalov here, but Djokovic is playing very well in this tournament so I wouldn't be surprised by a 2 set win for him, so I'm not setting any upset here, unless Djokovic got injured too.

So it's going to be Djokovic vs Shapovalov in the finals. I agree with @vella85 here, this year was great for him, but I'm looking at 2020 to be more exciting for this my boy here.  Grin
Anyone expecting an upset, the odds are really good and i am not sure how to have a closed eye on the performance of Djokovic as he was playing his best tennis in a long time and Shapovalov needs to come up with a game plan to defeat the king.

Nadal is out of the competition because of injury and now Novak Djokovic will be facing Denis Shapovalov in the final and i am expecting Djokovic to win another title and continue his total domination this year, anyone expecting an upset here if so i would like to hear from you tennis fans, i was not expecting Denis Shapovalov to be in the final but he played some good games as i thought Zverev could be in the final facing Nadal or Djokovic.

In a twist of event, Rafael Nadal conceded the match against Shapovalov as Nadal withdraw because of abominal injury.

No upset, my boy Tsitsipas didn't have answer against a superior Djokovic. Shapovalov beat Monfils, and Nadal won against Tsonga to set up a semi-finals match. The other semis are going to be Djokovic vs Dimtirov.

That's what often happen with young players, other than because they are still inexperience often they play unexpectedly, making their fans amazed by his played but it can happen otherwise.
Without disparaging Dimitrov and Shapavalov I think the ideal final that tennis fans await is Djokovic vs Nadal. I am not a fan of Nadal but I admit that he is one of the best players in the open era besides Federer in the men's section.

From WTA Final, Today Semifinal Rounds

Bencic vs Svitolina and Barty vs Pliskova, women's section more difficult to predict.

This year has been a good experience for Tsitsipas as he has played a lot of the top players and not just once but a few times and with every match he has against them he will become a lot better. Next year we could see him challenge for the top 5.

Yeah its going to be a exciting end to the year to see who finishes ranked number 1.

Nadal and Stan Wawrinka will be a good battle but i am going with Nadal to win the match
I don't think Nadal will win the match in two sets, but the results show that Nadal superior and playing well.

He just did, with the score of 6-4,6-4. I understand your prediction that Stan will at least extend this to a third set because of his recent performance. But Nadal's served and volley did work it's magic in this game.

Novak vs Tsitsipas, last meeting Tsistipas was able to defeat Novak, it's hard to predict who will win this match, but I am going with Novak.

i am not sure how Zverev can come back in this match, i wish Zverev to win the match.
The second set was won by Zverev in a hard fought battle but then he lost his energy and surrendered the third third set without much fight and Shapovalov played a really good match to upset a top player like Alexander Zverev and i understand why you neglected an unseeded player like Denis Shapovalov and even if wage a bet i would go for a seeded player .

I would agree that Shapovalov really play high level tennis in upsetting Zverev here. I though that Zverev will make a comeback after winning the second set. He will be facing either Monfils or Albot who are playing at this moment, third set now, 2-1 in favor of Monfils.

Djokovic vs Tsitsipas. I do hope that Tsitsipas will upset Djokovic here,  Grin

Novak is just to strong for anyone... odds are to low, but they are more or less sure bets.
Sometimes he starts slowly, but then he crushes his opponents.
Kyle Edmund done! Who is next?

Is Medvedev feeling the pressure now that's why he lost? He was really doing good this year and it seems that media is hyping him to be the next big player to come out and challenge the dominance of Djokovic, Nadal and Federer. However, I had a feeling that he succumb to tennis limelight this early and maybe he was out of focus. Or perhaps pushing himself very hard to chase Roger Federer, just saying.

He has been in the limelight since his back to back titles this year. So I doubt that it has something to do with the media with his recent lost to Chardy here. Maybe he got burn out, which is natural for sports athletes specially in tennis.

Interesting next match, Tsitsipas vs De Minaur. Djokovic and Nadal thru to the next round, Schwartzman defeated by Edmund.
Tsitsipas and Djokovic both won their respective matches very easily Djokovic face some resistance in first set but in second he completley outclass his opponent and right now we have two very interesting matches and both hot favorite players facing defeat in first sets as Zverev is down by 5 - 2 and T songa is also down by 4 - 1 lets see what happen.

I also think more in that direction, he is just burn out, if Medvedev's defeat by feeling a pressure from media, then considering that Chardy victory just by luck.

I don't think it has anything to do with the media at all either as he might of got ahead of himself always winning and didn't expect a challenge from Chardy, sometimes this can happen to players who go a winning streak and just take games for granted and this time he came out at the other end losing so it can happen. He was just beaten by the better player on the day.
