This is need of time as now big 3 already done so new generation is coming and fighting hard its really impressive now lets see who rule this circuit in coming years because all these guys start good and they have potential to stay for some time I personally impressed with Medvedev and Zverev both are very good.

@ene1980 indeed these were unexpected results for all the tennis fans, and it seems to me that the young generation of players are finally catching up to their senior pros. @posi if A. Zverev and Tsitsipas meet in the finals then it’ll be an epic clash, because both the players are young and hungry for success so let’s hope these two make it to the finals.

Today we watch really great Tennis from new generation players as they give tough time to old guards and put them out of competition both Tsitipas and Zverev was on fire even losing first set but done great job and win respetive matches and now going through in last four where Medvedev is waiting for Tsitipas and Zverev is going to face another giant killer Berrettini for me Medvedev and Zverev will be in final lets see what happen.

I am very impressed that Tsitsipas won Djokovic.
He is a great talent and as he grows and he becomes more prudent he is going to play even better.
I think that he will be then next top 1-2 player in the Tennis community in the near future.

I was also surprised S. Tsitsipas could beat the current #1 tennis player in men ranking while R. Federer also lost to Zverev A but the semi-final between S. Tsitsipas and Medvedev D. will be a tough one for them are both talented player.
I guess what happened in the women's tennis ranking might also replicate in the mean series soon.

Damn, my boy Tsitsipas won against Djokovic, as I have said, I won't be surprised though, LOL. The score is 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 in two hours, he went from a set down against the world number 1.

Lots of upsets today:

Berrettini won against Thiem in straight sets, while Zverev beat Federer in three. So semis are now in place.

Well it wasn't so easy for Federer to win which I suspected as like I said Goffin seems to play well at the back end of the season. Goffin had he's chances in the first set but Federer was just too good but again it wasn't an easy win for Federer.

Rublev was the surprise for me losing the first set 6-0 to Zverev, he did fight back in the second but the damage had been done in the first set as it gave Zverev all the momentum which is hard to stop in tennis.

Now we will see some great match ups with Federer taking on Zverev and Djokovic taking on Tsitsipas, these two matches are going to be good to watch, will we see an upset here?

That was a great match between Federer vs Goffin, I totally agree mate, it seems that Goffin really played well when he faces Federer and I think that there could be a upset in the making here. But it was not enough as Federer needs to dig deep on his bag of tricks.

I thought Rublev retire when I check the score, LOL, yeah he try to mount a comeback but it feel short in the second set.

Interesting to see my boy Tsitsipas against Djokovic, I'm not going to be surprise if we are going to see him playing his best tennis here and push Djokovic to his limit.

Yeah next round we see a lot of interesting matches that could go either way. In recent years Goffin seems to play at the back end of the year in the Asian tournaments so it would not surprise me to see him upset Federer. Rublev has been in good form coming off a good US Open so I could see another upset against Zverev. For anyone betting good luck as these matches are tough. Medvedev looks the standout winner this round.

Yes being number 1 can be tough at times, we mainly see this with Women's tennis as we have seen many number 1's over the past 10 years as I think the pressure to remain number gets to the players. Serena has been the most consistent Women's player to remain number 1 for a long time but the others don't seem to handle it all that well.

So far most of the top guys have made it through to the next round at the Shanghai Masters Monfils and Coric who have both been knocked out in straight sets.
