The first test between Sri Lanka and South Africa was kind of low-scoring in the first innings. None of the team played well in the first innings. But the pitch got better in the 2nd innings and South Africa were able to win the match by a big margin. The 2nd test has started already and I feel like we are going to see a similar match again. The pitch does not look batting-friendly.
The home side won the toss and decided to bat first, but they lose three wickets before the launch break. There are two more sessions to play today. I hope we won't see another low scoring match. They already trying to build a partnership, let's see how it goes.

Yeah, I was expecting Bangladesh to win the match after watching their second innings batting. They had played in a different style and gave a decent target which was enough in that pitch. I had some confidence in their bowling attack. All the bowlers of Bangladesh have contributed to the victory, first innings credit goes to Nahid Rana and second innings credit goes to Taijul Islam.
Probably because you watched the match. I did not watch the match, and I only checked the score. So, I did not know how is the pitch, but I could have understood it from the scorecard. But accident happens, Bangladesh has records of getting all out scoring very low in good batting surface as well. You see how India won the match against Australia a few days ago. I thought the West Indies would do something similar because it's their home condition, and they know the pitch well.
To be honest, I did not see much difference. I watched the highlights of the last day, and as far as I understand, Only Jakir Ali was aggressive because he wasn't getting support from the other side. He smashed 5 sixes and his 91 runs helped Bangladesh to secure the win.

Finally Bangladesh team won after a long time. Bangladesh lost badly in the last few series. Bangladesh won the 2nd Test against West Indies which was not expected. I thought Bangladesh would lose the 2nd Test as well. Bangladesh scored 164 runs in the first innings and Jaker Ali performed brilliantly in the 2nd innings to take the team to a good position and Bangladesh collected 268 runs in the 2nd innings. The performance of the Bangladeshi batsmen was not good. Bangladesh won with a great performance by the bowlers. If the Bangladeshi bowlers could not bowl aggressively then Bangladesh could not have won. Nahid Rana bowled brilliantly in 1st innings and took 5 wickets alone, Taijul Islam bowled brilliantly in 2nd innings and took 5 wickets alone which is commendable.
Yes dear friend Bangladesh win in 2nd Test against West Indies is very exciting surprise. After losing many games in row this win is nice change. Bangladesh won because of their bowlers, there is no way to deny it. We did not see good batting from Bangladesh batsmen in the first innings. I have not seen Bangladesh opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy bat well in any match yet. Mahmudul Hasan Joy batted very badly in the first match too. Mahmudul Hasan Joy probably could not score even 15 runs in the second match. Bangladesh team management should try to strengthen their squad. It is especially important to strengthen Bangladesh's batting lineup.
It's true that Bangladeshi bowlers have done unexpected performance and out of no where when most of their own fan lose heart from them, they make a strong comeback and won the very important match of the series because with that defeat thier opponent will be announced as the winner of that series by 2-0 lead but thanks to T. Islam and Hasan Mahmud because they really done ordinary performance. West Indies has more than six wicket in hand while scoring total of 140 around but the majestic pacers from Bangladesh departure rest of west indies lineup by just scoring more 40 runs which is incredible. hope so we will have some decent performance from them in coming future

Superb stuff Bangladesh. Both their batsmen and bowlers worked well together to win and draw the series. West Indies are just as unpredictable as Pakistan these days in literally every format.
I lost my bet on West Indies thanks to their pathetic second innings performance. It's getting tougher and tougher to predict cricket match winners in literally every format these days.
Three Bangladeshi players Nahid Rana, Jaker Ali and Tajul give them historic win on West Indian soil after 15 years with things were not ideal for them, but their players were positive and give their best in last innings of this test match which allow them to have won and level the series now we have West Indies at the bottom of WTC table.I lost my bet on West Indies thanks to their pathetic second innings performance. It's getting tougher and tougher to predict cricket match winners in literally every format these days.
I was also thinking to have bet on West Indies for this test as they have good target of win while they were batting in fourth inning but as I check highest ever chase at the Sabina Park Kingston is just 212, so I rethink and avoid this bet because I was surely West Indian batting is not able to do any resist against Bangladeshi bowlers in this fourth inning which is always difficult for any team.

Nahid Rana was exceptional. He is the architect behind this win, because it was him who gifted first innings lead for Bangladesh from nowhere. Taijul Islam got 5 wickets in second innings, but then he had the cushion of a large target being set for West Indies. The track was supporting his style of bowling, and the West Indian batsmen have historically struggled against spinners. All that said, it is time for West Indies to introspect. Losing at home, and that too against a weak team like Bangladesh doesn't sound good.

I am a really shocked when I see the result and Bangladesh team won the game and they successfully beated West indies team. Their team effort in 1 st turn was not good but their bowlers didn't lose their hope and performed well in bowling and stopped West indies team to 146 runs in 1 st turn. Nahid helped their team in bowling by taking 5 wickets in 18 overs and gave 61 runs. Their bowlers made great progress as well great pressure to West indies team. In 2 nd turn, Bangladesh team showed great effort and he made 268 runs and this was good and their effort and hope was restore after they stopped them to 146 runs. Taijul dismissed 5 wickets in 17 overs and gave 50 runs in 2 nd turn. Taijul credited by player of game award because he performed well in bowling and he took 1 wicket in 1 st turn and in 2 nd turn, he dismissed 5 wickets. Congratulations Bangladesh for amazing win.
Cricket is always very funny and interesting game while we have few teams like Pakistan and West Indies having amazing history of wins and loses but recently due to lack of consistency and quality we have few teams are also doing things like these on regularly basis with Bangladesh and Afghanistan both are doing good work in white-ball, but we have badly downfall for few teams in red-ball like Sri Lanka, West Indies and Pakistan which is making things worst for this format.In this test match we have two worst teams facing each other at the end we have some decent personal performances from few players which help Bangladesh for having win in this test match and level the series but still it's good end of the year for the Bangladesh as they have few good wins which could be remembered.

I really don't know what to make out of this result. Rather than Bangladesh playing exceptional cricket and winning the match, it was mostly West Indies playing like shit and losing the advantage they got after bowling out Bangladesh for just 164 in the first innings. Everyone says that Pakistan is the most inconsistent team. But what about West Indies? When was the last time these guys played consistently across a test series? BTW, these are bad signs for test cricket. This format is getting restricted to just 5-6 teams. Others doesn't have the capability to be consistent.

Its true that Bangladesh did poor performance in the 1st inngins against West Indies but After the end of first innings from both side, Bangladesh once again got an opportunity to win this match cause bangladesh blowers stopped west indies within 146-10 runs which was a big gain, possible by nahid rana who got 5 wickets alone. Afterwards when it came to batting turn for Bangladesh in 2nd inngins, they played well and scored 268-10 runs which was hundred runs more from their first innings. Shadman Islam(46) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz(42) gave their effort and very closed to have a half century. But Jaker Ali(91) Showed the legendary performance ever, missed his century for few runs but atleast contributed a lot for his team. As a response, west indies started batting and Kraigg Brathwaite(43) and Kavem Hodge(55) did good runs. But rest of players failed to make runs what excepted. Once again bangladeshi bowlers stopped them within 185-10 runs where Taijul Islam got 5 wickets and selected as the player of the match. And Bangladesh won the match finally

You are absolutely right that the two bowlers of Bangladesh made the biggest contribution to Bangladesh's victory in the second test match. Nahid Rana bowled brilliantly in the first innings of West Indies and Taijul Islam bowled brilliantly in the second innings of West Indies. Apart from these two bowlers, another player of the Bangladesh team has contributed a lot to the victory of Bangladesh, he is the middle order batsman of Bangladesh Zaker Ali. Zaker Ali scored 91 which was very important and necessary for his team.

Bangladesh batsmen performed poorly in the first innings, but they bounced back pretty nicely in the second innings which is why they definitely deserve credit for their late fightback in my opinion.Their bowlers were better for sure since they performed consistently well in both innings.
