It wasn't easy win for Aus, it may look like it though due to how things turned out in last session. It was an easy draw if not win for India but they fucked up big time — after Pant fell, batters shown no resistance and Jaiswal also gave in to pressure eventually.

Regarding Kohli, I think hes fine, he should just stop playing the shot that gets him out, currently it's almost like watching replays. He looked real good in first innings at MCG, it's run-out that fucked up his concentration.
What Kohli needs to do is to take a break of 6 months or so, and play some county cricket to get back to form. At the moment, the only Indian batsmen in form are Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Kumar Reddy. Others are there just to make up the numbers. And the most surprising aspect is that despite all this, the Indian selectors are not ready to drop the non-performers and include the bench players in the XI. Abhimanyu Easwaran and Dhruv Jurel are also in the squad, but they are yet to play a single match in this series.
Virat Kohli is now 36+ with already give 16 years to Indian team and also achieved many milestones which any player can dream about need to have give up and enjoy his second spell of life without cricket because with current level of performance he is surely going to have nothing positive in coming days currently after losing Melbourne test we have too much criticism about him and his performance even now many legendary cricketers looking for announcement from him about his future because he needs to have announced about future specially in test format.

Already had announcement in T20I now time to announce about test career and then from ODI after Champions Trophy mean all is going well end of his career from cricket hopefully RCB will give him time until 2029 which is also enough.

I respect what you think, but there was a little spike and you can't deny that. It wasn't completely a flat line. Usually, umpire doesn't consider such small spikes to make decisions. There can always be some error in technology. The swing of the ball was clearly visible to the naked eye. Ball tracking system should clear your doubts. Do you really believe that a ball can swing in this way?

If you still think that it was an unfair decision and the ball had swung on it's own, then you are just saying it all from your emotion.
I admit that I misjudged the decision. As you mentioned, the snicko was wrong here and I mistakenly thought that the ball swung in the air without touching his glove. However, Rahul was clearly not out too in the first test, but got screwed by snicko.

This just goes to show that such tech isn't always helpful and an AI revolution is required in cricket asap.

How are you expecting to AI to help here? AI would be tool as snicko and as such it would be prone to mistakes too.

It's Corbin Bosch 81 runs knock in first innings that gave South Africa 90 runs lead in first innings. If South Africa had not that lead of 90 runs then we might have different result of the game. Mohammad Abbas did well after having a break of 3 years from test but there were not enough runs of the board. In second innings, it was Kagiso Rabada 31 runs vital knock that booked a slot for South Africa in the WTC final. Pakistan has never won a test series in South Africa and this time too they can either draw or lose the series.

I think it is the innings from Corbin Bosch that was the difference between the two teams and it was the match winning innings too. I think he should be the player of the match but instead they gave this title to Aiden Markram. I don't say that he didn't play well but he was the opener and making 89 runs should be routine task for him. But Corbin Bosch is a regular bowler and it was an incredible performance by him.

I also think that both teams batsmen had a tough time in this test and in the next match, the team who bats well will have an advantage.

The first game between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe has been finished and in the first innings Zimbabwe was looking so strong but later in the second innings, they did not perform as good as they did in the previous innings. Afghanistan bowlers got them and understood their technique of game so I hope they will take wickets of Zimbabwe team in the next match.

The game was drawn due to the stupidity of Zimbabwe, they should declare the innings after scoring a max to max 400 runs but they kept on playing and then they could have out the Afghanistan team earlier too, but failed to do so. In short, all the mess created by Zimbabwe's poor planning.
Yeh the momentum Zimbabwen batter get in thier first inning didn't able to continue it long in second innings and scored a low target, no doubt Afghanistan has strong bowling lineup but I think the partnership between William and his partner really execute pressure on them which results in wrong inconsistent line and length from bowlers and thus batter get a room to settle down and played Fairless cricket. But yeh it's true Afghanistan get them in second innings but lack of time push results toward draw

I think Zimbabwe were on a aim to Atleast draw the game because they believe it will be good in favor of them instead of defeat and that's why they prefer to play long instead of innings declare otherwise looking to Afghanistan potential it's clear cut victory of them

When tail-end or lower order batsmen score runs, that is a sign of inexperience in the bowling lineup. Khurram Shahzad was playing his fourth test match for Pakistan, while for Aamer Jamal it was his 7th. Mohammad Abbas has played a total of 26 test matches, but before the Centurion test, his last appearance for Pakistan in the longer format was way back in 2021. That left Naseem Shah as the only experienced pacer, and the 21-year old really struggled with this additional responsibility.

First test match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe was very interesting. Zimbabwe started very strong but they did not play as well in second inning. Afghanistan bowlers took advantage of this and learned how Zimbabwe plays. This might help Afghanistan in next match.
It is clear that Zimbabwe did not plan well and that is why game ended in draw. They should have stopped playing after scoring around 400 runs. This would have given them better chance to get Afghanistan out. But instead they kept playing and lost their chance to win match.

I found Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan, first Test match more interesting. Both team scored higher runs what I didn't expected. Where Zimbabwe won the toss and scored 586-10 runs in first innings. Sean Williams(154),  Craig Ervine(104) and Brian Bennett(*110) all those three batsmen showed an incredible century each and contributed for their team to set higher target for their opponent team. But as a responded, Afghanistan scored 699-10 runs which was more higher where Afsar Zazai(113) did century. And apart from that, Rahmat Shah(234) and Hashmatullah Shahidi(246) did double century which was epic, totally unbelievable performance from Afghanistan what can be seen rarely. Afterwards Zimbabwe started their second innings with 142-4 runs but the days were ended and match drawn but with lots of thrilling moment. Its okey when Afghanistan Shows such performance against Zimbabwe but Zimbabwe really showed amazing development in batting and seems they are trying to back on the track again which is a big achievement

Jurel did play first test in this series but yeah there are plenty non-performers, selectors need to be blunt and need to show exit path to who consistently fails to perform.

OK.. in that case I missed it. Replacing Pant with Jurel can be a very bold decision, and I don't think that the selectors have the courage to do that. I would like to see Abhimanyu Easwaran playing at least one match in this series. He has consistently performed well in the domestic circuit, and yet he is ignored for two reasons - first he doesn't have any godfathers in the team, and second he is not part of the IPL (which reduces the visibility and exposure even in test cricket).

I wouldn't sit Pant either, he's performed not that good but not that bad either, also he's a good wicket keeper. His brainfade yesterday costed the game otherwise India were sailing smooth.

Regarding Abhimanyu, don't think he has got any chance tbh. Rohit unlikely to bench himself being a captain, and KL has performed well in couple innings in this series so unlikely to be benched for someone inexperienced like Abhimanyu who's new to foreign soil. Also, Gill despite being in touch, warming the bench.

All in all 0 chance for him to make debut.

When tail-end or lower order batsmen score runs, that is a sign of inexperience in the bowling lineup.

This is not always true. If you look at the last match between India and Australia, you will see that tail-enders played better than the top-order batters. In Australia's first innings, Pat Cummins played a 49-run innings, which was awesome. In reply, while India was struggling with the bat, Nitish Reddy and Washington Sundar stepped forward and avoided follow-on. Nitish Reddy even scored a century in the first innings. Australian tail-enders did the same thing in the 2nd innings. Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon both played like top-order batters. Do you think both team has an inexperience bowling lineup? I don't think so.

Now if Indian batsmen can make a comeback in the second innings then maybe they will win this match. I believe that Indian batsmen have the ability to beat the score up to 350 runs.
But here I do not see any such hope and the reason for this is the performance of Indian batsmen in the past matches. Especially their experienced batsmen are continuously failing and as a result of which Indian team has to be eliminated from this year's ICC World Test Championship.
Most of us including me believe too that Indian team Gona easily chased the 300+ target as they already scored same number in his first inning without any trouble but I think the difference compared to previous innings was last day lack of time/overs pressure and once again same kind of batting collapse but lower middle order didn't respond good they way they does in previous and that's some how become the reason of defeats. I think Pakistan defeat make indian chances to play WTC final a bit blury but now Indian team defeat in fourth test match of the series put a full stop on thier chance to the final and thus some major mistake cost him such terrible things.

...Australia won it very easily. Virat Kohli is not playing well and in this game i am of the opinion that he is getting older now almost likely to touch 38 in the next couple of the years and also his beared also turn white. He should retire after the next event Champtions Trophy and should not go for the ODI World Cup 2027, just retire it will be good for him too.[/b]

If India wins the fifth Test match against Australia, the series will be drawn. But India may not be able to win the fifth Test match against Australia. Since Australia won the fourth match, they will try to play better in the fifth match and win the series against India.

I would never underestimate the Indian team even when they are down in this Test series. India is not in bad form as a whole, it is just that their batsmen are not clicking and they are facing this tough time recently. Remember in the first Test match they scored 487 runs in an innings and won that game. So even if you are betting on Australia in the last game or generally thinking about the last mast results, just keep in mind that if Indian batsmen somehow got runs in this match, they will surely win it.

In the 4th Test match between Australia vs India, the Indian team has come out to bat in the 2nd Innings. They have scored 8 runs in 6 overs without losing any wickets. We have seen that the Indian team did not do well in the 1st Innings, but we are enjoying the match to see how well they can bat today. Let's see what the Indian team can do.

India did not bat very well in their second innings due to which they lost badly, India was all out for just 155 runs. However, Australia bowled well, due to which they defeated India very easily and took the series lead. Australia won the fourth Test match against India by a huge margin of 184 runs, of course Australia will try to do better in the next match. However, if India wins the fifth match, the series will be tied, but the performance of Australia in the game will not allow India to reach the winning stage. We have seen that Australia played well in the fourth match, of course they will be more confident and play well for the next match.
I think India has not been able to bat well against Australia in any match, the problem with the Indian batting line-up at the moment is that they are not able to perform consistently in any match. It seems that if India had played this series on their home ground, they might have performed well against Australia and won all the matches. India bowled very well in the fourth Test match, as a result of which they bowled out the Australian team for just 234 runs in the second innings.

For the next time Pakistan should need to ensure about some of the South African bastmen those were so near to complete thier century but due to some reasons cannot complete it. First of all, here is Aiden Markram who scoed 89 and missed by 11 runs while secondly there is Corbin Bosch who was on 81 and remained not out but his partner was out and he missed this golden chance to make his century.

By the way, one of the best bowling performances was delivered by Saim Ayub. He is not a regular bowler but he got a wicket in his 2.4 overs that he bowled. I know Pakistan played badly in the end and lost the match but these were some moments of satsifaction for the Pakistan team, maybe  Huh

With the way they kept South Africa under pressure for 148 runs, it is easy to assume that Pakistan could have won if they could have taken a little more run lead. Shame on Pakistan as Mohammad Abbas bowled brilliantly but could not get the win in the end. But we can't believe that Rabada and Marco Jansen will have such a wonderful partnership in this test match. These two batsmen taught how to bat in adversity. However, I hope that Pakistan will win the second test match.

Australian Cricket Team is stronger than any other team in previous years. Past we see the test match score is the highest performance. last few years we saw Australian poor scores but now I am very pleased with the current performance of my favorite team. Congratulations to the Australian Cricket Team for their achievement of winning over the strongest team in India.

Yes, it was a good victory for the Aussie team but the captain Pat Cummins has a big part in this success. However I cannot understand how Pat Cummins is performing so well in both batting and bowling. Because when he comes to bowl then bowl as unique and good as the other mainstream bowlers cannot do and when he comes to bat then he plays like a professional batsmen and when there is pressure and runs are required then he plays like Maxwell and Chris Gayle.

At the same time, when we talk about his captaincy then no doubt he is a good captain but Pat Cummins has problems with the Indian team because most of the time in the interview, Pat Cummins was asked to choose one and options were Bumrah or Shaheen then he said "Shaheen Shan because he is not Indian.".  Also once he needed to choose between Virat and Rohit then he said "Neither" and now he used to do give such statement often.
