Indian fans enjoy the fuck ups during a transition period, it's sad but having said that, don't be disheartened because young blood has more than enough hunger to succeed at this stage so just wait and watch.

Hoping for good mid-long term results from this fiasco. Happy new year to all test cricket retards. To me, you guys are beautiful people.

You see two teams have batted only one innings and then the five-day Test match is over because the curators have made low-quality wickets where the bowlers have no advantage but the batsmen have a chance to play every ball no matter how well the bowler bowls. Zimbabwe first down 500 plus runs in the second innings when Afghanistan continued to move in the same direction and it was not too late to realize that the result of this match would definitely be a draw. I did not enjoy watching such matches at all. The wickets should be constructed in such a way that either team wins based on skill and merit.
The curators didn't made a low quality quality wickets, maybe the curators created a batting friendly pitch. For which Afghanistan and Zimbabwe team batsmen managed to score 500 plus runs in their first innings. Afghanistan batsmen have collected more runs than Zimbabwean batsmen. Two Afghanistan batsmen have scored more than 200 runs in the first innings. Tomorrow another test match will be played between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan i.e. they will face each other in the second test match. Maybe the pitch in the second Test match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will also be batting friendly.

The first game between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe has been finished and in the first innings Zimbabwe was looking so strong but later in the second innings, they did not perform as good as they did in the previous innings. Afghanistan bowlers got them and understood their technique of game so I hope they will take wickets of Zimbabwe team in the next match.

The game was drawn due to the stupidity of Zimbabwe, they should declare the innings after scoring a max to max 400 runs but they kept on playing and then they could have out the Afghanistan team earlier too, but failed to do so. In short, all the mess created by Zimbabwe's poor planning.
Yeh the momentum Zimbabwen batter get in thier first inning didn't able to continue it long in second innings and scored a low target, no doubt Afghanistan has strong bowling lineup but I think the partnership between William and his partner really execute pressure on them which results in wrong inconsistent line and length from bowlers and thus batter get a room to settle down and played Fairless cricket. But yeh it's true Afghanistan get them in second innings but lack of time push results toward draw

I think Zimbabwe were on a aim to Atleast draw the game because they believe it will be good in favor of them instead of defeat and that's why they prefer to play long instead of innings declare otherwise looking to Afghanistan potential it's clear cut victory of them

There was no way we were going to find any winner in this match. The bowlers were unable to do anything much in this match. The batsmen from both of the teams perform really well in this match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe. And a lot of runs have been scored in this match. batsmen probable teams have been able to achieve a lot of records in this match. Rahmat Shah and Shahidi have been able to score double hundreds. Zazai have been able to score a century. Definitely A great performance from both of the teams. But I guess it was also a little bit boring because of so many runs being scored. Almost everybody knew that there was not going to be a winner in this match.

Now the next test match is going to decide which team is able to win the series. I just hope that The next test match which is obviously the last will not end in a draw.

Gill is a good player that should be in playing XI, it's not about him getting chances. Even if he didn't make many runs in innings he played, he looked good and got out on bowler's credit.
In short, you are saying that Shubman Gill should be in the playing XI even if he doesn't score any runs, and also Abhimanyu Easwaran as well as Dhruv Jurel needs to warm the bench? I have nothing against Gill. But he was dropped for the 4th match, and there is no valid argument to bring him back for the 5th match. I am saying that rather than Gill, Abhimanyu should be considered for selection of either of Rohit or Virat gets dropped. BTW, if both of them gets dropped then Gill and Abhimanyu can be in the XI.
Now we have last test with Indian down 2–1 so in my opinion they needed to be gone through for this test match with few changes because we have three top batsmen having the worst series KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli so hopefully we will have minimum two changes which are essential for better results but if we have nothing then most chances after end of this series we will be having good overhaul in Team India for red-ball format because they will be having time for doing things after retirement of Ashwin now it's time for few more players to leave with honour.

Shubman Gill is currently not good but sometime back here I read someone write he is the blue-eyed person for Indian cricket so most chances his future could be hanging in balance but still it depends on his performance if he is able to give some positive signs things could be good otherwise we will have huge pool of players which are waiting for their chances.

I think it is the innings from Corbin Bosch that was the difference between the two teams and it was the match winning innings too. I think he should be the player of the match but instead they gave this title to Aiden Markram. I don't say that he didn't play well but he was the opener and making 89 runs should be routine task for him. But Corbin Bosch is a regular bowler and it was an incredible performance by him.

I also think that both teams batsmen had a tough time in this test and in the next match, the team who bats well will have an advantage.

Aiden Markram scored 89 & 37 runs while Corbin Bosch apart from having fantastic knock unbeaten 81 runs in first innings also picked 5 wickets. He was the best choice for men of the award instead of Aiden Markem. The 30 years old Corbin Bosch still has many years left to make up his late entry in international cricket provided he keep repeating such match winning performance. The first test was very much balanced apart from Pakistan poor batting in first innings.

Australia is currently on the verge of winning the Test series and they will win the series if they win their next match. If Australia can win their fifth match against India, it will be really great for them. Right now, the series is 1/2 between the two teams so Australia will try their best to win and India will try to draw the series. Overall, this match will be the most interesting as both the teams will try to play well and improve their batting and bowling performance. If India can play their strong performance against Australia, they will not lose the series and if Australia plays well, they will win the series.
Australia beat India by 184 runs. Before the start of the India vs Australia test match I thought it would be a very competitive game between the two teams but the way Australia bowled in the telling state in the second innings the Indian batsmen surrendered helplessly. The way Australia bowlers bowled really commendable game Indian batsmen should have done more responsible performance we all know India's batting line is very strong but the way India performed in the second innings it looked like Bangladesh were batting. Indian batsmen batted fairly well in the first innings, if they could have batted responsibly in the second innings like the first innings, they could have won the match against Australia. In the second innings, the Indian batsmen surrendered helplessly to the Australian bowlers. In the second innings, no Indian player could bat so well. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the highest runs in the second innings for India. Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed for 84 runs off 208 balls. In the second innings, Australia's bowlers bowled very aggressively from the beginning, due to which the Indian first-order batsmen could not bat so well. Both Pat Cummins and Scott Boland bowled well with three wickets each. Congratulations to the Australian team for a great win.

I don't understand how the match is interesting if the wicket is of such poor quality. You see two teams have batted only one innings and then the five-day Test match is over because the curators have made low-quality wickets where the bowlers have no advantage but the batsmen have a chance to play every ball no matter how well the bowler bowls. I did not enjoy watching such matches at all. The wickets should be constructed in such a way that either team wins based on skill and merit.

No point in blaming the wicket alone. Bowling was poor from both the sides. Zimbabwe is missing many of their top bowlers such as Brad Evans. They are trying to compensate for the outflow of the white players, by importing South Asian players. After the success with Sikandar Raza, they are now testing with Faraz Akram. And there are a few others waiting for their turn, such as Antum Naqvi, Ahsan Ali Aqil and Hamid Ali. I am not sure how this experiment will turn out in the future.

Also Zimbabwe took a long time scoring that 586 runs. They almost took 135 overs which is around 4 to 5 sessions. Then we saw Afghanistan making 699 runs and taking even more time. They took 197 overs and scored (almost 2 days) and scored at a rate of 3.54. If it was a pure batting wicket, then the teams would have scored at at least  5 runs an over.

Another thing to note is that Zimbabwe did not start the 2nd innings well and it shows that the pitch had something for the bowlers too but it was not exploited. This is the series of two tests so the next test will be tomorrow at the same venue, Bulawayo.
I think both teams had fear of losing this match and that's why no team tried to win this match. Win could be possible if any team attack on other team but we saw defensive inning by both teams and both teams are new in this format and have no experience to play in test cricket. I think, in the future they will learn from their mistakes and they will try to win next game but wicket should be bowling wicket then result could be possible. If you are thinking there should be run rate should be 5 per over, then you are thinking ideal situation but practically that is not possible in any situation expect the big teams like England and Australia but small teams like Afghanistan and Zimbabwe have no power to play with run rate of 5 and in next match, the result should be different because audience didn't like that kind of match .

Undoubtedly, it is certain that the Test match that took place between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan can be called a run-supporting Test match between the two teams, where the good bowlers would have no wickets, and on a completely batting-supporting pitch, both teams scored 586 and 699 runs respectively.

Zimbabwe batted fearlessly in the second innings as the innings was nearing the end and only a couple of overs were left in the last session of the fifth day where even with an all out there was no chance of defeat for Zimbabwe.

Before start of this series we have good hype with both teams were balanced, but Indian defeat against New Zealand give them surprise with first test win was also another shock but after this we have things gone under Aussies control one draw and win bring both teams on balance again but in four test what happen I am still shocked because I never have Indian batting like this.
Now most chances we will be having last test again in favor of Australia because now they are confident and have enough space with Indian team moral is also down, and they needed to have few changes Mohammad Shami is also big setback for them with Mohammad Siraj is not near him in line and length.

Two days are still left in the test match between South Africa and Pakistan. The first test is already won by the South African team and at the same time they were winning the T20 series but Pakistan were so good in the one day games.  In the last test match, at the ending stages of the game, Pakistan were bowling well but they were late to improve their batting and bowling style. Next match is in Cape Town. I am waiting to see the wonderful game and i think both teams would have equal chances in this match.

Bookies are still favoring the South African team. I think it is better to try our luck with Pakistan in this match and get 2.75 odds for them.

I wouldn't sit Pant either, he's performed not that good but not that bad either, also he's a good wicket keeper. His brainfade yesterday costed the game otherwise India were sailing smooth.

Regarding Abhimanyu, don't think he has got any chance tbh. Rohit unlikely to bench himself being a captain, and KL has performed well in couple innings in this series so unlikely to be benched for someone inexperienced like Abhimanyu who's new to foreign soil. Also, Gill despite being in touch, warming the bench.

All in all 0 chance for him to make debut.

Well... I know that Pant scored enough runs to stay in the XI. But it will be a real tragedy, if Abhimanyu Easwaran gets dropped after this series, without making his test debut. I would strongly argue dropping either Rohit or Kohli (or both of them), and then  including both Abhimanyu and Jurel in the playing XI. Gill got enough chances in this series so far, and it makes zero sense to include him for the last test at the cost of either of these two young players. Anyway, we never know how the Indian selectors think.

First test match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe was very interesting. Zimbabwe started very strong but they did not play as well in second inning. Afghanistan bowlers took advantage of this and learned how Zimbabwe plays. This might help Afghanistan in next match.
It is clear that Zimbabwe did not plan well and that is why game ended in draw. They should have stopped playing after scoring around 400 runs. This would have given them better chance to get Afghanistan out. But instead they kept playing and lost their chance to win match.

I found Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan, first Test match more interesting. Both team scored higher runs what I didn't expected. Where Zimbabwe won the toss and scored 586-10 runs in first innings. Sean Williams(154),  Craig Ervine(104) and Brian Bennett(*110) all those three batsmen showed an incredible century each and contributed for their team to set higher target for their opponent team. But as a responded, Afghanistan scored 699-10 runs which was more higher where Afsar Zazai(113) did century. And apart from that, Rahmat Shah(234) and Hashmatullah Shahidi(246) did double century which was epic, totally unbelievable performance from Afghanistan what can be seen rarely. Afterwards Zimbabwe started their second innings with 142-4 runs but the days were ended and match drawn but with lots of thrilling moment. Its okey when Afghanistan Shows such performance against Zimbabwe but Zimbabwe really showed amazing development in batting and seems they are trying to back on the track again which is a big achievement

Zimbabwe International test cricket team made 586 runs in the first inning of match and after that Afghanistan team batting was very long and Afghanistan International team continue to play until they will out . Afghanistan International team could win this match if they play like a big team but they prove that they are small team and small teams always do such kind of mistakes and Hashmatullah Shahidi was awarded as player of the match because he made double century in this match but they should retire early and after they should give batting to Zimbabwe team but Afghanistan team is has no experience of test cricket and that's why they are doing these kinds of silly mistakes because big teams don't do that kind of mistakes and they do proper planning to win the match.
