The first innings performance of the Bangladeshi batsmen against the West Indies was not very good, they batted erratically and the Bangladesh team was bowled out for only 164 runs. However, in the first innings, the bowlers of Bangladesh bowled very well and did not allow West Indies to score too many runs in the first innings, they were all out for 146 runs. Nahid Rana bowled very well for Bangladesh against West Indies in the first innings. Nahid Rana bowled very well and single-handedly picked up five wickets from the West Indies batsmen. I cannot give the batsmen credit for Bangladesh's victory, I will give full credit to Bangladesh's bowlers. Bangladesh's bowlers have performed exceptionally well, there is no shortage of performers in the Bangladesh bowling unit at present. We have seen 3 bowlers in 2 matches who have taken 5 wickets each. In the 2nd match, 2 bowlers bowled exceptionally well in 2 innings and were able to take 5 wickets and win the ball of the innings. Bangladesh was able to win the 2nd match mainly due to the exceptional bowling of Nahid Rana in the first innings and Taijul Islam in the second innings. Bangladesh's batsmen could not perform like a match winner.

Especially Nahid Rana cannot be praised. Nahid Rana is becoming a familiar face in world cricket as the days go by. He can not only create a storm of speed, but also presents big challenging moments for the batters by bowling intelligently. He has just arrived in international cricket, I think he will be able to bowl at a higher pace in the future and there is no doubt that he is a great asset for Bangladesh.

The performance of West Indies in the second match was very disappointing, especially the batters. After the top order batters, no player could be found to take control of the match. They managed to put the first 100 runs on the scoreboard very easily but lost about 6-7 wickets to get the next 50 runs. There is no question that the middle order and lower performed very badly.

Bangladeshi fans will forget all if the Bangladeshi cricketers can lead them to victory in the second Test against the West Indies. Bangladeshi cricket fans are really different because Bangladeshi fans will criticize that the team will perform poorly throughout the year but suddenly if Bangladesh wins a match then the fans will forget all past grudges and celebrate the victory. Bangladesh are trying and they have chances though completely depends on the last five batsmen.

In this match, Bangladesh performed quite unexpectedly. Especially their recovery started from the bowling in the first innings. And later they performed fairly standard batting performance in the second innings which helped them maintain the lead with the West Indies later on. And besides, Bangladesh's second innings bowling also performed well. But to be honest, I wasn't expecting this kind of performance considering their past performances, so I lost here unexpectedly.

Superb stuff Bangladesh. Both their batsmen and bowlers worked well together to win and draw the series. West Indies are just as unpredictable as Pakistan these days in literally every format.

I lost my bet on West Indies thanks to their pathetic second innings performance. It's getting tougher and tougher to predict cricket match winners in literally every format these days.

In the first innings of the second test match, Bangladesh did not score many runs with the bat, due to which we naturally thought that Bangladesh might lose the second test match against the West Indies by a big margin. However, West Indies batted worse than the way Bangladesh batted in 2 innings, as well as the Bangladeshi bowlers created a lot of pressure on the West Indies batsmen, due to which Bangladesh secured a big victory of 100 runs in the second test match.  

After a couple of failed series, the second Test win against the West Indies can certainly be called a great comeback for Bangladesh. After completing the Test series, Bangladesh and West Indies will now gear up for the ODI and T20 series and we expect to see a tough contest between the two teams there as well.

Bro this was a test match. And I would say this is how batting should be done in test format. I don't think Keacy Carty wasted the ball. He batted responsibly. But he failed to play a big innings. This is Keacy Carty's failure. But I think Keacy Carty's batting style was suitable for test format. In test format, the target of the players is to stay at the crease for a long time. There are T20 and ODI formats to score quick runs. T20 and ODI formats need to score quick runs, it is not needed in test format.

Bangladesh won because of their bowlers, there is no way to deny it. We did not see good batting from Bangladesh batsmen in the first innings. I have not seen Bangladesh opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy bat well in any match yet. Mahmudul Hasan Joy batted very badly in the first match too. Mahmudul Hasan Joy probably could not score even 15 runs in the second match. Bangladesh team management should try to strengthen their squad. It is especially important to strengthen Bangladesh's batting lineup.

West Indies top order was the reason of poor batting performance. In the start of the West Indies second innings, they have lost their back to back two wickets of Mikyle Louis, he scored just 6 runs and used 14 balls, played with a very low strike rate.

After him the player came who waste extra ordinary balls and has not scored good, Keacy Carty,  he used 43 balls and made just 12 runs, it is not right. He have to focus on his performance now. In the first innings, he also wasted many of the balls, scored 40 and used 115 balls. he can use balls it is the test match no doubt but their is a limit and to play in accordance with the condition of the match.

I never thought that Bangladesh would win the Test match against West Indies. In the first match, we saw that Bangladesh was defeated by a big margin. In the first innings of the second match, the Bangladeshi batsmen batted very badly. However, although the batsmen could not do well, the bowlers were able to perform their duties properly. Bangladesh won because of the good bowling of the bowlers.

However, the Bangladeshi batsmen did quite well in the second innings. Especially Jaker Ali's innings was very important. Bangladesh scored 268 runs and Bangladesh set a target of 281 runs. Considering the condition of the pitch, it was a big target.

You are right that no one could have imagined that Bangladesh would win this Test but their bowlers' performance was very promising. Especially the exceptional bowling of Taijul Islam and Nahid Rana has been credited for the team's victory. The consistent success of these two bowlers has contributed immensely to the victory in the second Test. However, the West Indies team should have performed better on their own ground but they failed to show their best game.
This is unfortunate for the West Indies team because they failed to show their natural game and also the top level players did not get runs. If the batters had done their duty properly, then the result could have been different. The Test series ended in a 1-1 draw. One should be prepared to watch and bet on the upcoming one day and T20 but I think there will be a huge competition between both the teams for the victory.

Is there anyone who thought Bangladesh would win this match? I did not believe that even after the end of the 3rd inning of this match. West Indies were playing at their home and Chasing down a 300 below target is not something impossible considering they are playing at home and have another day in hand. But credit goes to the Bangladeshi bowlers and the fielders who have done their jobs and managed to win the match.

I don't know if I should say it was bad luck for the West Indies or not, Because they are ahead of Bangladesh when it comes to team ranking. They have three ODI and three T20I against Bangladesh, and they are likely to dominate in both series. Good luck to them. As for Bangladesh, we are used to seeing them losing matches. It does not hurt anymore.

Congratulations to the Bangladesh team. Bangladesh won against a strong team like West Indies. And I would say it was an unexpected win. Bangladesh lost by a big margin in the first match. But the team performed well in the second match.

But I would say that the Bangladesh team won only because of their good bowling. If the bowlers had not performed well, Bangladesh would not have been able to win. But openers Shadman, Miraz and Jaker Ali batted well enough. The controlled bowling of Taijul and Nahid Rana made Bangladesh's road to victory easier.

If the batting of Bangladesh team was not that good, they were still able to bat well, due to which they gave a huge lead. Taskin Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud also bowled well, they were able to collect two wickets each, overall the batting and bowling of Bangladesh team was good. Anyway, we have seen that Bangladesh team has been able to improve their game and tie the match against West Indies, it is commendable for them, because earlier the team played a very bad game in the first match, but at the moment their game has improved a lot.

A match can go in favour of any team unlike the initial performance. This match between Bangladesh and West Indies is an example. At the beginning of the match, it looked like an easy win as Bangladesh ended its innings for 164 runs. Later, the West Indies had a comfortable start, but the same got collapsed by the bowlers of Bangladesh. Particularly Nahid Rana had a five-wicket haul and changed the match scenario. In the second innings, Taijul Islam had a five-wicket haul and won the match for Bangladesh.

In the end, West Indies were bowled out for 185 runs by Taijul Islam's fiery whirlwind and also defeated Bangladesh by 101 runs to end the Test series at 1-1. But the contribution of Zakir Ali and Taijul Islam in the second innings is really commendable. If Zakir Ali did not increase the score in T20 style, Bangladesh would have been under a lot of pressure. However, Nahid Rana's bowling in the first innings and Taijul Islam's bowling in the second innings played a great role for Bangladesh to win this match.

Well Bangladesh get more than 280 lead again west indies with contribution of thier middle and lower middle order and it was look like confirm victory for Bangladesh because including me none of us believe west indies will easily chased such high target because we have seen their previous first inning where they hardly score below 150 but now at last of their innings they scored 140 and still have more than five wicket in hand which Indicates dominance are shifted toward them also their set batter are on crease and the required runs will not be a big deal for them to match if Bangladesh bowlers didn't deliver more than thier best. As currently if Bangladesh took 3 back to back wickets then west indies might feel trouble if not then it Gona be again easily victory for them.

Yes, Bangladesh has played well in their game, but if you look at the first innings, they will be weak there.  If their batsmen had given the same target in the first innings as in the second innings, it would have been difficult for West Indies to win this match.  Right now the West Indies batsmen are playing in the second innings. Now this West Indies match is not won. If you see, the Bangladesh team has won in the first innings, but the actual result will be with the second innings.  If Bangladesh has to win this match, their bowlers will have to take a lot of pressure and take wickets due to which the West Indies batsmen will not be able to score runs and meet the target and lose the match.  Bangladesh batsmen have scored 268 runs in the second innings, West Indies have lost 1 wicket in 5 overs so far, due to which Bangladesh can win this match by exerting their pressure.  I find this match very interesting because Bangladesh are playing hard against West Indies and they are not able to complete the target.

These odds can change quickly if West Indies find a partnership. The required runs aren't too many and one or two big partnerships can really be a threat to Bangladesh's cause. Once again Kraigg Brathwaite is playing with responsibility, he has made 22 runs out of the total 29 which West Indies have made. However, WI needs not to lose wickets as with early wicket loss, they not only get themselves in trouble but the target becomes more tough and impossible. Mikyle Louis has already lost his wicket to Taijul Islam. This is a critical phase of the match, a partnership of 50 or more without losing wickets and West Indies will be right back in the game.

England are out of the WTC final race while NZ are most probably out too thanks to this new update.

Both teams got penalised due to slow over rate which is a bummer for the Kiwis who recently whitewashed India 3-0 on their turf. Looks like Australia, India, South Africa or Sri Lanka will end up qualifying for the final now.
