It would have been a bogus decision if the 3rd umpire had given it not out by following the snick only. There was clearly deflection when the ball passed the bat and gloves of Jaiswal. It was clearly visible on ball tracking system. Controversial things happen in cricket, but it was a fair decision by the 3rd umpire.
I disagree. There is a possibility that the ball swung on its own right next to his glove and the snicko proved that by showing no big spike at all. What's the point of such high tech devices if you can't trust what they are outputting?
I mean it does not make much sense to me what you are saying — how does ball swing on it's own right in the air? And even if absurdly it does, why did it deflect right next to glove and not before or after?
Despite being Indian cricket fan, I would have been more annoyed if it was given not out.
Now if Indian batsmen can make a comeback in the second innings then maybe they will win this match. I believe that Indian batsmen have the ability to beat the score up to 350 runs.
But here I do not see any such hope and the reason for this is the performance of Indian batsmen in the past matches. Especially their experienced batsmen are continuously failing and as a result of which Indian team has to be eliminated from this year's ICC World Test Championship.
Most of us including me believe too that Indian team Gona easily chased the 300+ target as they already scored same number in his first inning without any trouble...
It wasn't without trouble in first innings, India were 191/6 then Nitish Reddy and Washington partnership saved them that helped India accumulate 300+.
but I think the difference compared to previous innings was last day lack of time/overs pressure
I was all in for draw, even though I fancied my chances at win at one point.
