This game needs a single session to have a result. Miraz may continue for a while. But tomorrow morning won't be easy because the momentum could be shifted. Even if the rain interrupts the match, I don't think Bangladesh will have any kind of benefits. They already lost seven wickets and got 81 runs leads. Even if they can give a target of 150 from here, SA will win the match pretty comfortably.

But since this is a cricket match, the worst thing could happen as well. I don't expect South Africa to collapse like how Bangladesh collapsed. If nothing magical happens, then will have a result tomorrow and I guess everyone knows what is going to be the result.

There's no winning from here for Bangladesh. The best they can hope for is a rain that delays the match tomorrow and the day after. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is at 87 and he might get to his century otherwise, this is going to be another bad game for the team.
Bangladesh made a small score in their 1st innings and the 2nd innings score too isn't as big as South Africa yet. Anything below 150 of target, South Africa would move into aggressive mode and make it happen within 25 overs or so. Bangladesh had have a poor series after their win against Pakistan. They had poor Test and T20 results against India and now against South Africa.

Bangladesh had a disappointing performance in this test match and now in trouble after losing its seven wickets in 283 runs. South Africa bowling performance is amazing especially Kagiso Rabada who picked 4 important wickets and Keshav Maharaj also bowl good spell pick up 3 wickets. Bangladesh current lead is 81 runs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is playing well and scored 87 runs, very close to scoring a well-deserved century and just needs 13 more runs. Nayeem Hasan is also playing well at 16 runs, not out. This 8th wickets partnership between Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nayeem Hasanis very important for Bangladesh if they want to score a 150 plus runs target for South Africa. I think South Africa have good chances of winning this test match.

Bangladesh would have been able to win the match if they could have batted a little better in their first innings. If Bangladesh collect 200+ in the first innings, I believe Bangladesh would have won this match. But Bangladesh collected only 106 runs in the first innings. And now it is not possible for Bangladesh to give a big target.

The match is now being delayed due to rain. Perhaps the Bangladesh team will not get a chance to bat again today. Bangladesh managed to collect 283 runs after losing 7 wickets. Bangladesh managed to take a lead of 81 runs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is still at the crease with 87 runs. Bangladesh will probably be able to provide a target of 120-140 runs.

I am surprised how this match resembles close to the match between New Zealand and India teams that was held recently. When India were trying to recover in the 2nd innings, the rain came and then after that India lost their remaining wickets quickly. Here also we had a good partnership between the two Bangladesh batsmen and then the rain came to interrupt the game. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is batting on 77 runs and he deserves the 100 runs but i do not know if he will get support from the other end as already Bangladesh lost 7 wickets. Bangladesh now lead by 65 runs and that is nothing in the context of the game.

I am really impressed with the performance of Bangladesh today. At one point I was sure that Bangladesh would lose the match by innings. But Mehdi Hasan Miraj and Jaker Ali's amazing batting, Bangladesh is dreaming of victory. Mehedi Hasan Miraj has played such an amazing batting innings before, he has played an innings that turned the match around in difficult times for Bangladesh. His responsible batting today is a real example of that. I am not personally acquainted with Jaker Ali. I don't know him well, but he gave a very nice innings to Bangladesh cricket fans today. Although he is unproven in international cricket, we hope he will do well for Bangladesh in the future.

After such a beautiful innings of Bangladesh, I am definitely willing to bet for Bangladesh. The match is stopped due to rain, if Bangladesh can score at least 60-70 runs after the rain, it will be difficult for South Africa to win this match and they will surely regret it. The match was in Africa's favor till the 2nd day and the first session of the 3rd day. I was even optimistic that South Africa would win the match by an innings. But there are few people to bet on Africa now. If Bangladesh can give a target of 150 runs then South Africa's match win will be uncertain. For South Africa to win the match, Bangladesh will have to be all out within 300 runs. Otherwise there could be danger for South Africa.

Bangladesh team just lost the wicket of Jaker Ali. Jaker Ali returned to the dressing room after collecting 58 runs from 111 balls. Jaker ALi played a brilliant innings at a time when the team needed it. However, if Miraj and Jaker's partnership had been extended, Bangladesh would have been able to provide a descent target. Even if the Bangladesh team can somehow set a target of around 150, it will be difficult for New Zealand to win the match.

Miraj remains unbeaten with 77 runs. Nayeem Hasan managed to collect 12 runs. Waiting to see if the Bangladesh team is able to collect up to 350. Bangladesh has already managed to take a lead of 65 runs. And now the match is being delayed due to rain.

Bangladesh's lead is not big atm but Miraj and Jaker are grinding for their team. Proteas needs to regroup and try something different to break this partnership otherwise they could fuck this up rare opportunity, my money will be on Bangladesh if they set at least a 120-run target for Proteas.

I am very surprised by Miraz and Jaker Ali's responsible batting. I thought the Bangladesh team would not be able to collect even 200 runs in the second innings. And Bangladesh will be defeated by innings. But the two Bangladeshi batsmen are batting well. Although the Bangladeshi top order did not play well, the middle order batsmen performed well.

Bangladesh lost their sixth wicket for 112 runs. But at the moment Bangladesh has collected 250 runs by losing 6 wickets. Bangladesh is already collecting 138 runs from Miraz-Jaker duo. Miraz scored 72 runs and jaker Ali remained unbeaten with 58 runs.

These are one of those rare matches where the results are very much certain and one can take a bet on these match with some big amount and gain easy money. Though you only get 1.03 odds but it will be a sure shot bet.



At the moment Bangladesh lead by 16 runs. But there is nothing to be excited about this. The two players Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Jaker Ali have make over a 100 runs partnership but again as soon as one of the wickets will fall, it may be all over for Bangladesh. I would be happy if Bangladesh can drag this match on the last day but for this, this partnership needs to continue for another two sessions.

Bangladesh vs South Africa is turning out to be a replay of India vs New Zealand where the hosts are just chasing a big lead and end up losing inevitably. Bangladesh will probably give a lead less than 100 which cannot be defended.

Agreed. He is easily one of the most ungentlemanly cricketers out there, but his all-rounder talent is unmatched though his form went down the drain in recent years.

Bangladesh's team is not playing good as they have to do. They are playing so slowly. As we have an example in the first few overs of today's game, they just scored almost around less than 50. At the start of the day, they were trailing the score by more than 100 runs and now after 44 overs, they are trailing the score by 71 runs, such a poor performance it is here. And also at the same time they are losing their wickets quickly, in the start of the day they were batting with 3 wickets down but now they lost five wickets. Mahmudul Hasan Joy who was playing so well, was out on 40 today.

I don't think so. People did not forget about Shakib. You saying that means you did not see the news media. There was a protest even before the first day of the test. You know that Shakib is out of the country due to this political bullshit. Personally, I like Shakib as a cricketer. But he is the worst guy when it comes to personality. He can do anything for money. He joined the political party and became a member of parliament because he wanted more money and some power to abuse.

Of course, the chances of losing are very high, so I will blame the Bangladesh batsmen because they are failing to show responsibility every time. We have seen even when India was successful that they are not capable of playing Tests. Their bowlers bowl well but the batters cannot bat well every time. They will take the field on the third day still trailing by 85 runs from the previous day and they have only 4 wickets. I think Bangladesh team will lose by a huge margin. In the second innings, Mahmudul Hasan Joy tried to bat well and he was able to score 40 runs off 92 balls, besides Mushfiqur Rahim scored 33 runs off 39 balls besides, no other batsman could play well. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Jaker Ali are now unbeaten batsmen on the wickets, his middle order players and not much runs can be expected from them. I think the 5-day Test can be finished in 3 days.

Bangladesh team Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudul Hasan Joy are under the most pressure due to the dismissal of these two batsmen. I think Bangladesh team will lose this match for sure because their batting performance is very bad, bowling performance of South African team is good. Although there was a possibility of Bangladesh team yesterday but due to the loss of wickets, the chances of Bangladesh team have been greatly reduced today. Bangladesh team has lost 5 wickets and still have 90 runs left to complete their target, the team may not be able to complete this run. Because there is no improvement in the current game of the Bangladesh team, rather their game is going through a lot of disappointment, although the possibility of losing this match is high.

Bangladesh batting is still struggling. Their top players did not score big runs which put pressure on rest of team. But Hasan Joy and Mushfiq are batting well so there is still chance for Bangladesh to do better. To score a lot of runs Bangladesh needs Hasan Joy and Mushfiq to keep batting well and avoid losing wickets early tomorrow. First part of tomorrow game will be very important. If they can get through it without losing wickets they can gain momentum. South Africa bowlers are doing great job. Rabada has already taken two wickets in second innings showing how dangerous he is. If Bangladesh can handle these bowlers they might be able to score well. If not they might lose all their wickets quickly again.

End of day 2, Bangladesh team trail by 101 runs. For now, the team has lost 3 wickets, scoring 101 runs. In the first inning, they were able to score just 106 runs. In the second inning, they're playing with better control; however, at a specific interval, the break is happening. Even in the second inning, Bangladesh was 4/2, and the performances from Mahmudul Hasan 38* and Mushfiqur Rahim 31* have steadied the situation. Every new day started used to be struggling for the batsman if he's under pressure. Right now both were under pressure to stand wicket. So there are more possible chances of falling wickets in the first session of day 3.

Bangladesh lost their 2 wickets very early but they are much more controlled now. Still much can't be said. Bangladesh was trailing by 200+ runs at the start of 2nd innings and I hoped South Africa would take much more wickets till the end of the day but 101 for 3 is not a bad score. Specially when two set batsmen Mahamudul Hasan Joy and Mashfiqur Rahim would come out in the new day refilled with energy. They still need to get 100 to come par with the score and make at least 400+ to fight for a win. As it's early, there are no chances of draw.

Well currently Bangladesh has lose some of thier important wicket and just lose of thier three wicket they able to scored 100+ which indicates now they are a bit settle down and we will have something new in thier batting attitude, some vital partnership between mushfiq and joy really put his team on track to not only chased the required Target but some huge number on board as a target for south African to chased, I believe if they able to scored 200 around before lose of any other wickets then definitely match will be in favor of them but if the failed especially at start of new day then things can be turn down into horrible for them. Anyway I am still supporting Bangladesh but my gut feeling says it's Gona be south African victory let's see how they come out of such terrible stages

If Bangladesh's top order batsmen could bat well, they might have been able to collect big. But top order players cannot play big innings. So at the end of the third day Bangladesh team lost three wickets and collected 101 runs. Bangladesh lost three wickets after batting 27.1 overs. But now Joy and Mushfik at the crease are batting well. If the innings of these two batsmen is prolonged, then Bangladesh will move towards a big collection. Otherwise, there is no surprise if Bangladesh loses all the wickets within 200.

In the first innings, South African team bowlers Rabada, Mulder and Maharaj bowled brilliantly to win the trio. Each took three wickets. Rabada picked up two of the three wickets in the second innings. I am waiting to see how the Bangladesh team will bat in the first session tomorrow. If Bangladesh does not lose wickets in the first session, then the team will be able to collect big.
