Thakur and Krishna look like weak links, especially the latter. He's usually a good bowler and has a wonderful FC record but on his debut, he's looking toothless, still, fingers crossed for the debutant.
The pitch got little better but the Indian bowling attack is bowling with no plan B and expecting the wickets to fall down. Prasidh is not bowling well but I don't see any players coming up to calm his nerve which will make him to post better performance.
Lord has been as usual, leaking runs and yet to create the opportunity that he usually do.
Finally, Bedingham bowled by Siraj, can they make a few more before the curtain closes? SA already in the driving seat now and India can only play catch up game from now on.
There is no scope to say that the pitch is bowling friendly. Indian batsmen are not able to bat well on that pitch. India managed to muster only 245 runs in the first innings due to top order failure and excellent bowling by Rabada.
South African batsmen batted well on the second day. South Africa collected 265 runs after losing 5 wickets. South Africa has managed to take a lead of 20 runs. But there is no opportunity to say that South African batsmen have batted very well. Dean Elgar remained unbeaten on 140, and Bedingham scored 56. Besides, no other batsman can bat so well.
