India seems to be in a comfortable position by now. They have a lead of 111 runs, with 10 wickets remaining. If they can add another 100 runs or so, then they will be firmly in the drivers seat. Both Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul are looking confident out there, and the Australian bowlers need to break this partnership before tea. A good idea would be to bring Nathan Lyon to bowl, as this is the second innings. Pacers have failed in their job so far, and this goes for part-timer Mitchell Marsh as well.
India is moving towards a decent target. India batted very badly in the first innings. India was able to score only 150 runs. Even then, due to the excellent bowling of the bowlers, India was able to take a lead of 46 runs in the first innings. After scoring only 150 runs, probably no one thought that India would be able to take a lead in this match. But the bowling of the Indian bowlers was very controlled. Especially Bumrah was able to take 5 important wickets.
The two Indian openers have made a great start. Till now, India has not lost a single wicket. Now India's total is 84 runs without losing any wicket. Jaiswal is unbeaten on 42 runs and Rahul is unbeaten on 34 runs. India now takes a lead of 130 runs. Giving a target of 250+ is not a difficult task for India. I guess India will give a target of more than 300.
