Current times are not favorable for Pakistan team as they are failing in series after series. Pakistan are perhaps the only team to lose their first Test match against England despite scoring more than 500 runs in the first innings. Pakistan's batting in the first innings may not seem like they are performing badly, but their batting in the second innings will make everyone question. Pakistan's poor performances have been noticed in the last few series, batting well once but bowling poorly, i.e. they are not consistent on a regular basis. Despite having many best batsmen and best bowlers, their performance has deteriorated so much. They need special attention from their management to solve this problem because if they perform like this Pakistan team might be considered as a much weaker team in the cricket world.
It is not about that Pakistan played well in the first innings but collapsed in the 2nd, it is the unpredictable nature of this team where you never know what's coming. They can win the most difficult situation matches or lose the easiest of the games; one such example is this test match. No other team would have collapsed like the way the Pakistan team did in the last 2 days of the game.
Also, we are only blaming the Pakistan batting, why not also give credit to the super bowling performance by the England team. Jack Leach took four of those important wickets while Gus Atkinson and Brydon Carse took two wickets each and made the Pakistan batting look like a club's team.
