LOL.. it was entirely unexpected that New Zealand took the first innings lead. Kyle Jamieson and Tim Southee were involved in a 52-run 9th wicket partnership, that took New Zealand from 264/8 to 316/9. Still they need to bat during the 4th innings, but now they have the psychological advantage with them. Bangladesh has started their second innings rather cautiously, with Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Zakir Hasan taking them to 22/0 after 11 overs. If they can get to a lead of 240-250, that should be enough in this track.

Kane Williamson always steps up when his team is in trouble, and this time, he even scored a brilliant century at a crucial moment. It was suppose to be strong new Zealand started the 1st day with strong position where they able to stopped Bangladesh within 310 run where Glenn Phillips showed his bowling skill by gained 4 wickets. But today, the 2nd day of the 1st Test match, new Zealand started batting and score 266/8 where it was 98/3 when Bangladesh scored around 183/3. Credit goes to Taijul Islam for his brilliant bowling skill where he got 4 wickets. Although can't deny the brilliant century from Kane Williamson104(205) with 50.7 Strike rate. Well waiting for upcoming innings which will be more exciting

In the 1st Test match of Bangladesh vs New Zealand team, New Zealand team came to the field to bat today. They made 266 runs in 84 overs. However, New Zealand team lost 8 wickets. Bangladesh team started a good performance in the bowling line for which the New Zealand team's batting mass was under a lot of pressure. .Bangladesh team player Taijul Islam has done an amazing performance. He took 4 wickets with 89 runs in 30 overs.
Yesterday when most of Bangladeshi player didn't score decent score I taught they are not really taking it seriously or they lose thier form but now after deeply observed the NewZeland batting I got that it's totally bowling friendly track and it's difficult for batter to hold their wicket long and build significant partnership, as a result they performed worst then then home ground team and lose 8 of his important wickets before closed to required target zone which is quite disappointed but like we know Bangladesh bowling has alot improved so credit goes to them for put thier opponent in trouble. Anyway just humble guy Williamson scored three digit scored and make little bit things easy for his team but now after thier dismissal his captain southee and some bowler will add his contribution in order to chased the target and make some lead before lose his all wickets.

Bangladesh is not very good at Test matches because Test matches mainly have to protect the wicket and last for a long time. But the Bangladeshi players were not very patient so they did not last long on the field and all the wickets fell on the first day scoring only 310 runs. They batted with a very good performance and fell by five wickets. If Bangladesh can do better in terms of bowling performance, then there is a high chance that the match will be competitive today. 200 runs 5 wickets in 63 overs of New Zealand team till now.
After BAN posted 310 in first innings New Zealand 266/8 and the 2nd day stumps off and NZ are 44 runs behind. Williamson make century 104 score other players contributes few runs on his team total. Williamson make partnership with Mitchell and Phillips 66 and 78 runs respectively. Tomorrow Southee and Jamieson will start the 1st session of 3rd day and trail 44 runs 2 wickets in hand now. The pitch is completely spin friendly. A strange pitch. Bangladesh have always made such strange pitches at their home to put their opponents in danger. Bangladesh team takes full home advantage. However, Taijul bowled brilliantly. He took four wickets. Also, I have not seen any bowler bowl better than expected. I thought Miraj might take 2/3 wickets. Miraj managed to pick up a wicket after bowling 19 overs. However, Bangladesh needed an experienced bowler like Shakib on this pitch. New Zealand batsmen would have been under more pressure if Shakib was in the squad.

Well, to be honest, almost all of the tracks in Bangladesh are pretty much spin-friendly. And I am also very certain that Bangladesh is definitely missing the service of Shakib Al Hasan. If he was in the squad, he could have made a good bowling partnership with Taijul Islam. Bangladesh has definitely redeemed themselves after a devastating performance since Bangladesh lost the third wicket in their innings. seven or eight wickets for only 110 runs if I am not wrong.
