1st session of test match end Bangladesh after winning the toss and decided to bat first in sylhet. Bangladesh current score is 104 run in loss of 2 wickets. Mahmudul Hasan Joy is playing at 42 runs alongside with Mominul Haque who is just 3 runs. NewZealand picked 2 wickets in first session bowling performance is outstanding Ajaz Patel who picked 1 wicket of Zakir Hasan at 12 score and Glenn Phillips pick the important wicket of Najmul Hossain Shanto who is captain of Bangladesh team playing very well scores 35 runs in just 37 balls in test match against New Zealand. But unfortunately out and miss his well deserved fifty by 15 runs short.

Nazmul Hasan Shanto batted in ODI style today and was dismissed by Glenn Phillips with 37 runs from 35 balls. This is the playing style of the Bangladesh captain, batting irresponsibly like this in today's match, especially in the Test match, does not make sense. In fact Bangladeshi batsmen will never learn anything from cricket. Bangladeshi batsmen could not master how to bat in any match. As a supporter of Bangladesh, I did not expect such a game.

Finally, the new test series is arrived and this is a series of Bangladesh vs New Zealand. Bangladesh team is not good in all formats so of course they performed in this test series as they performed in the whole World Cup 2023.

I am pretty sure that this series will be won by New Zealand. Bangladesh team will miss Shakib Al Hasan in tomorrow's match, we see a match after such a long time, where Shakib is not present in the match. We want to see him but sadly he is retired now, his time has been over now we never see him in any test match again.

The first Test of New Zealand vs Bangladesh will be played tomorrow at the Zahoor Ahmed Stadium in Chittagong. Nazmul Hasan Shanto has been announced as the captain of this test team. But there are not many experienced players in this Test match, let's see how the Bangladesh team plays. Because Bangladesh is absolutely trash in the test format. I still do not understand how they actually have the test status to be honest. Bangladesh is actually the best in ODI. But we all have seen the politics that has been going around with Bangladesh cricket. That’s why the form is not good at all right now. In last 24 years we have nothing special from the Bangladesh in any format which is the biggest disappointment for the fans and I believe in these circumstances their management is also doing nothing for the improvement of quality and performance which is really the worst thing happening here in this country after worst performance in last world cup they need to work on their domestic structure and improve their quality and other things which helps players for the better results and improvement in quality.

Now New Zealand is in Bangladesh for the test matches and many expecting good performance from them, but they need to give their best on supportive pitches instead of going to for favorable pitches which are surely not going to help their players for having better results with their current performance level.

It may not be proper to predict their test performance based on the ODI results. But then, these issues have been there for quite some time. Only occasion when Bangladesh performs well against top sides is when they have the undue advantage of playing at home on doctored tracks. When they don't have that advantage, they surrender meekly. The loss to Netherlands during ODI World Cup was a big shock to fans back home. At this point, only Liton Das is performing consistently. Others are inconsistent, and players like Shakib and Mahmudullah are approaching retirement age.

The issue stems from the top with the power struggle with every chairman, three PCB chairman in the last 3 years and you cannot expect the team to settle down and perform well and you cannot blame the team for their performance during the World Cup and as usual the captain will be the scapegoat after the failure in a major tournament and a major shuffle in the team and historically it has not helped them and i do not see that changing either.

Bangladesh can be a team that's unbalance interms of performance and there's absolutely nothing to be done for the purpose to increase the performance, however things do actually change and the underrated poor team can transform to be one of the outstanding team that's capable of weighing the strength of other elite teams. New Zealand is overhyped they're ordinary and touchable like any other team in the league, all they need is a team that can withstand and absorb their pressure and reciprocate in double actions which will definitely become difficult for New Zealand to handle.

The test series is coming soon after such a long time, and the series is coming in between Bangladesh vs New Zealand, and of course, New Zealand is a good team and of course, they are better than the Bangladesh team in all formats but there are just test series of them right now so we are just seeing both teams accordingly and no doubt New Zealand is better than Bangladesh also in the tests.

If we check this battle on the ranking so New Zealand has fifth position in the ranking of tests and in the other hand, Bangladesh has 9th position in the ranking of tests, and Zimbabwe is in the last position, I accept Bangladesh is not a good team but at least they are average team but this position is such a down position. Don't think we may be able to see any good close matches Huh
