Bangladesh vs Pakistan first session clearly belongs to Pakistan but in last two sessions it's all about Bangladesh now they have done good but still it's a long way to go for them if they want to be good.
Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das is building a huge partnership which will be frustrating to Pakistan and they will try to break the partnership in the morning and if they could battle the first one hour, then they will score above 360 runs which i think is a decent total.

Will Young and Tom Latham had a great start to the series and if they can continue like this, then New Zealand will end up having a first innings lead. They need to score the maximum they can in this innings because the final two days will be difficult to bat and India have three spinners in the squad to take advantage on the final day.

The performance of the Indian bowlers surprised me as well as disappointed me. New Zealand scored 129 runs but the Indian bowler has not been able to take a single wicket yet. Such weak bowling is not expected from them. Tomorrow's first session could be the turning point of the match. If the Indian bowler fails to take a wicket in the first session, then India is bound to lose this match.
New Zealand played well and India is not able to pick a single wicket is a huge disappointment. New Zealand was able to put the breaks in the morning session and now they have the advantage as they only trail by 216 runs and ten wickets in hand. I expected India to have a upper hand in the match but the openers played well and they have a long batting line up, may the 4th day the wicket will start spinning and that is when the match will change. Lets see how it goes.

In tomorrow's first session if there is no wicket fall, easily India will reach 400 runs by the second day end. If there is wicket fall, automatically the scoring speed will decrease. This takes more time to reach 400 runs. New Zealand is a strong team and they won't easily fall to India. If it gets a strong opening there is more chance of match ending in draw than win from either of the team.
NZ morale is low currently due to the recent World Cup final loss which is why I don't expect them to defeat India or draw the match especially considering the fact that almost all Indian batsmen are playing well at the moment.

Jamieson is the only NZ bowler who is performing well and I have no idea why such a world-class bowler wasn't part of the T-20 World Cup lineup.
My prediction have come true, India have lost its wickets by the first session. Now New Zealand have made a good partnership without fall of single wicket. In terms of moral New Zealand isn't down, they try to give the best. During the first day of the match the winning probability of New Zealand was just 5% and now it had turned 25% which shows how strong is the team. Tomorrow the first session might have few wicket fall, if not the pressure builds up with the Indian bowlers.
I was not sure about this fight from New Zealand but Indian team was just casual for first inning in batting and now bowling even most peoples were expecting some turn in first two days game, but It's nothing happening now tomorrow first session is important for both teams if spinners able to have few wickets then surely It's going to help Indian cause otherwise It's going to be from 25% to 50% or above because still some good batting line-up to follow and above 400 runs could be good for visitors here in Indian soil.

I just saw the score card  now and was surprise to see the  Liton and Mushfiqur super show. Pakistan after getting a brilliant early 4 wickets start, went on back foot and the bangladesh batsmen fully control the match. Now bangldesh are in a very good position and they should look to put at least 500 runs total on the board and test the Pakistani batsmen under pressure.

I think 350 will be a good first innings score to put the side batting second under pressure. It was much needed 100 from Das whose performance was not good. Liton and Rahim both have partnership of over 200 runs now. They are the key for Bangladesh to reach 350 runs hallmark.

From the Test match between India and New Zealand, now the match between Bangladesh and Pakistan seems interesting to me, Bangladesh could not win any of the T20 matches against Pakistan. The idea was that Pakistan would easily defeat the Bangladesh team. Bangladesh lost 4 wickets for only 49 runs. But at the end of the day, Bangladesh scored 253 runs and they did not lose any more wickets. Mushfiqur and Liton are batting brilliantly.
After the end of day 1, I think Bangladesh has come back really well. Especially after losing 4 wickets for only 49 runs and that also in 17 overs. Mushfique is currently not out on 82 and Liton Das score a stunning hundred and these two held Bangladesh on track. I think the wicket was favoring the bowlers early in the day and as the innings progressed it became more suitable for the batsman to score. But it was really hard for these two batsmen at first as they had to play almost double of the balls than their runs. And that is where I think they did exceedingly well.

You are expecting 500 runs. This is a huge run. It is unthinkable that a team like Bangladesh will score this run against Pakistan. If Bangladesh can play well in the first session tomorrow, and the liton-mushfik pair is not out then I think Bangladesh will be able to collect about 450. However, if this partnership will be broken at the beginning of the first session, then Bangladesh will not be able to collect more than 370-380. The new batsmen will be out quickly.

Well ladies! 2nd day was very interesting. Dominating performance from the visitors, first with the ball then with the bat. Which we don't get to see from the touring teams more often in India. Kiwis are definitely very happy unit atm and it feels like they literally can't do anything wrong when playing against India, cracking battle is guaranteed for the next 3 days.

Let's discuss the BAN vs. PAK test. As a result of losing the first four wickets in the opening session cheaply, Bangladeshi batters Musfiqur and Liton Das made an impressive comeback. Ultimately, they ended the day with a strong position. It was a great opening day performance from Liton Das, Mushfiqur for BAN v PAK. I congratulate him for his first career century. Liton and Mushfiqur both deserve good scores. I hope Litton Das makes it a double.

It looks like the outcome of the match has been decided already. If India makes a total in excess of 400, then there is no chance for New Zealand. They have to bat on 4th innings and by that time the pitch will behave like a minefield. As I mentioned in my previous post, the New Zealand spinners have disappointed and their hopes rest on the two pacers (Tim Southee and Kyle Jamieson). Ravindra Jadeja just fell to Tim Southee (which means that all the 5 wickets to fall so far has gone to the pace bowlers). India should not be much concerned, since their lower order is pretty strong (Wriddhiman Saha, Ravichandran Ashwin & Axar Patel).

Cricket is old funny game and we can never predict its outcome. NZ batting have completely changed the direction of the match. I would say it's  very much balanced now. Meanwhile Bangladesh has also played well on first day by scoring 254 runs. They must try to reach 350 to put pressure on Pak.  Good to see quality test cricket.

You cannot judge a teams performance on day one. There is plenty of cricket still left in this match. Day one India has already lost 4 wickets and after these two, who are on the pitch, not much batting is left. Ravichandran Ashwin can still bat and I am expecting them to score more than 350 runs. Day two would be interesting as Shreyash Iyer is on 75 run and can easily reach 100.
I am surprised about one aspect. It was supposed to be a pitch that is supportive to the spinners. But all the 4 wickets which fell on the first day went to the pace bowlers. Kyle Jamieson picked up three (which is not surprising, since I have always considered him to be the best bowler in NZ), and Tim Southee picked up the sole remaining wicket. The spinners (Ajaz Patel, William Somerville and part-timer Rachin Ravindra) conceded a total of 166 runs and yet went wicketless. Did they erred by dropping Neil Wagner? Also I thought that Mitchell Santner would have been a better option instead of Somerville.

I think that in this pitch Mitchell Santner would surely have been better. I am kind of surprised to see that all of the wickets went to the fast bowlers but judging by the skill of New Zealand spin bowlers I think it's quite understandable. As spin has never been the main strength of the New Zealand bowling lineup. But I also think that if Mitchell Santner was in the team maybe he could have one or two wickets in the day.

As everyone expected, in Test matches like T20 matches, we will see the dominance of Indian players in the matches as well. Although the Indian players played well on the first day, the day was completely occupied by the New Zealand players. India's batting was disrupted in the first session and India lost all their wickets for just 349 runs. New Zealand collected 129 runs without losing any wicket.

You are right. The match depends on the performance of the first session tomorrow. Those who play well in the first session will be ahead. If India do not lose wickets in the first session, they will be able to collect more than 400 runs very quickly. And if they lose wickets, it will take time for them to get back on track.

At the moment, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel are batting as four wickets fall in Day 2 of the first session. Southee's spectacular five-wicket haul changed the Indian dominance on batting. Southee is destroying India's batting line up right now. What a bowling performance this morning! However, India got its first centurion in a Test match since October 2018 for the first time. For Shreyas Iyer, his debut in whites has been spectacular.

It looks like India will lose all their wickets in the second session. Collecting less than 400 will make winning the match difficult. Now I think the match is more likely to be a draw. If India wants to win, they have to collect at least 400 . My guess was that India would collect more than 450 in the first innings. Their condition is very bad now as a result of their batting disaster in today's first session.

I expected the Indian team to go beyond 350 but unfortunately, that was not possible. Good batting by Shreyas Iyer and Jadeja, if these two could have stayed in the wicket for some time more then the team would have easily crossed 350. Newzealand team have started good, both opening batters are playing comfortably.

After winning the toss against Pakistan, Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque decided to bat and the first four Bangladesh batsmen of 49 runs were successfully returned to the dressing room. Bangladesh lost 4 wickets in just 16.2 overs. They should not play a Test match against a strong team like Pakistan with such a weak batting lineup. Playing Test series against teams like Ireland or Zimbabwe, becoming more experienced, they should play against bigger teams.
