Pakistan will never go with any suggestion like this forfeit an inning is just like commiting suicide for them right now they are happy with this position as they was surely going to lost this match by big margin now settling for draw is very big favour for them by this rain so now they can do some better in third and final test but I am not hopeful because they are not good enough for this series after losing first test very narrowly.

This is not right. Why teams should split the points in case of rain interruption? Ideally the team that will win the series should get the maximum points. Just for your information, the weaker teams has no control over the ICC to stage the test matches in rainy season. Its the ICC who make the matches schedule and England is the part of the big 3 teams which make the decisions.

I always come up with the odds at the crucial time of the match. This time is to bet on the draw for this match.

Don't know what Pakistan team is looking for but we as an audience wanted to see the match in action regardless of who win or who lose. The series is played after a long delay due to covid but it is spoiled by the weather. Undecided

I admit that England has been facing a lot of bad luck these days like rain interference when they are in winning positions etc due to which their chances of ending up in the top 3 of the WTC drastically decrease with time.

This is not the good news and neither all the cricket fans would be happy about it as they could not watch the live match between both the teams. The match is moving towards draw unless if we can see next 3 days of cricket without much rain’s interruption. England team would be disappointed because when they perform well things become more difficult for them in a way.

It will be interesting to know how the pitch behaves after this two days of rain. Even if the play resumes, we could not have consecutive 3 days of cricket because rain may interrupt again. Also the outfield will be wet and this will make bowlers job more difficult with wet ball.

So wearing smart watches is not allowed in the field ? This is a new rule to my understanding. So what will be the outcome of this investigation ? Will the umpire be punished in this case or the player and what would be the punishment ?

Until now no punishment just reminder for future as its not allowed in 2018 few Pakistani players also done same mistake may be in future they will introduce any new rule or puniishment about this.

Not sure but what harm the smart watch can do if the players wear it. The players can get message and instructions from the dressing room through smart watch but even without this smart gadget they still get the instructions and messages, don't they ?
The other thing is that fielders can get busy though smart watches and may lose focus on the match temporarily.

^^^English weather flirting with the cricket is not new thing tho. How about...
- Avoid mansoon season in subcontinent. Fix domestic series during mansoon, if necessary.
- No ICC tournament in England Grin
