It is very unlikely that it will rain for two whole days and the match will be a draw. But I saw the weather report, there is a high chance of rain tomorrow morning.

The problem is that it is impossible to predict the batting of Bangladesh batsmen. It is impossible to predict in which matches this team will bat well. We thought that Bangladesh would not be able to score even 200 runs in the second innings. But in the second innings, Bangladeshi players have already collected 283 runs. I will not be surprised if Bangladesh lose all wickets in the first 10 overs of the next day. Again there is a possibility of collecting around 350 for Bangladesh team. However, if Bangladesh can provide a target of 150+, it will be a bit difficult for New Zealand to win the match.

You must be a big fan of Bangladesh otherwise how can one wish that there is continuous rain for two consecutive days? Yes, there can be a full-day washout but thinking it will rain full two days is really being too much optimistic for a Bangladesh draw.

Bangladesh didn't play well in this match and therefore they are in this desperate situation. They made 106 runs and that was the suicide for them in this match. Now in the second innings even if they make 350+ runs, it won't be enough for them to save this match. That is way, both innings are important in the test match and a little mistake usually causes the loss of the test match.

I will not disagree with you because there are no lower-order batsmen to my knowledge who has scored 100 runs or 50 runs after seven wickets in the Bangladesh team. And most of them are new players. Now if we talk about the bowlers, South African lower-order batsmen who are basically bowlers they also have the ability to face Bangladeshi bowlers. So, it is understood that Bangladesh will lose here because Bangladesh now has only 81 runs lead from the South African team.
And even then if the Bangladesh team is able to touch the 350 runs they will lead by only 148 runs and which will be an easy target for the South African team. And if Bangladesh took 400 runs magically and made all wickets out in the 2nd innings of South African team before 180run then maybe there will be a chance for the Bangladesh team. Al thought I wouldn't suggest anyone to bet on this shit game even then your won odds will be very low.

1.03 odds seems like a surebet indeed, but it's not worth it at all since it's way too low and is only useful if you are betting a huge amount for proper returns. I would have bet on South Africa if their odds were 1.1 or higher.

South Africa will 100% win this one and it's not just a high possibility anymore. Verrynne and Mulder took the game away from the hosts with their partnership.

We got a very disappointing performance from Bangladesh team especially in this test match. At first when the Bangladesh team was all out for 106 runs, there was no hope that they would win but later when the South African team lost six wickets before 120 runs under Taijul Islam's amazing bowling and then I thought Bangladesh had some chances to win. But the South African lower order batters proved that I was wrong. Especially their lower orders partnership run-rate.
Anway even then currently Bangladesh has only three wicket in their hand and I don't thing they will able to cross more than 350 and their is a high possibility of wining the south African team.

LOL.. it is quite clear that they will lose the match. With 3 wickets remaining, they are leading by just 81 runs. That said, the partnership between Nayeem Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz has added valuable runs so far. If these two can stay there for 10-12 overs more, then Bangladesh may even post a competitive target. But the threat at the moment comes from Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj. These two have shared all the wickets to fall in Bangladeshi second innings so far.

I think Bangladeshi International test cricket team wil lose this match because now they are playing second inning of this match. They lose 7 wickets in this match and their score is 283 on board , Bangladesh team is leading by 81 runs in this match . No player of Bangladeshi team could play well in first inning of this match but they well to do good in this match and they made 283 runs in second inning and  Mirza is not out on the crease but Bangladeshi team will definitely lose this match . Jaker Ali Also played well in second inning and made half century for his country . Hassan is not on the crease and Bangladeshi fans have great expectations from that player.

Right their situation of Bangladesh squad is very worst and they are very near to lose and their possibility to win this first test match against South Africa squad is very slim. After winning the competition against Pakistan squad Bangladesh squad displayed disappointing performance in previous competition against India now They are playing shit performance against South Africa squad. Both squad played their Frist innings; Bangladesh squad managed 106 scores and South Africa squad collected 308 scores. In second inning of Bangladesh squad, they lost their first seven wickets and they lead this test match by 81 scores and all significant wickets of Bangladesh squad lost their wickets expect Mehidy Hasan Miraz batter, he still playing their inning and he managed 87 scores off 171 deliveries. This test match is not fully depend on Bangladesh bowlers if they will succeed to put burden on South Africa squad and pick their crucial wickets in early stage then their victory chance will increase otherwise they already lost this match.

It looks as if nothing can save Bangladesh from an impending defeat (perhaps with the exception of rain gods). For their credit, they managed to avoid the innings defeat. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is still out there and he is batting on 87. Along with Nayeem Hasan, he has added 33 runs for the 8th wicket. If Bangladesh can get lead upto 150-160, then there still maybe a chance for them. After all, they have some very good spinners and the pitch is offering spin bowlers a lot of undue support.

This game is going exactly similar to the India-New Zealand game. There we were thinking that if the game was not possible due to rain on the last day, then that game could end up in a draw. Here the difference is that tomorrow is the fourth day of this match. So even if it rains the whole next day, we still have the 5th day and South Africa wins is guaranteed in this match. By the way, if there was no rain today, the match would have finished by now. When the 3rd day started, the Bangladesh team was trailing by almost 100 runs and now they are above around 80 runs or so.

Maybe the result of this match will be similar too. Day 3 has been called off for the low light issue after rain. The surprising part is that Bangladesh have managed to take a lead of 81 runs until now, while everyone was expecting them to lose by an innings. Bangladesh may end with a lead of 110 to 130 runs if this pair can survive for at least 10 overs on day 4. SA shouldn't struggle to chase the target even though the pitch is difficult to bat.

There is a good chance that Bangladesh will be defeated by an innings margin. If the rain had not come today, the result of this test match would have gone in favor of South Africa. Firstly, Bangladesh cricket team toured India and performed shamefully against India in Tests and T20Is and they are maintaining that losing streak at home too. 

It is normal to lose in games but if a team loses regularly and if that team loses by a huge margin then it is definitely a shame for that team. Bangladesh has been associated with cricket for a long time but even though their cricket board has improved, the playing conditions have not changed yet. Bangladesh should learn from all the other small countries who get very little opportunity to play cricket and who have been around for a short time and have made significant progress.

This game needs a single session to have a result. Miraz may continue for a while. But tomorrow morning won't be easy because the momentum could be shifted. Even if the rain interrupts the match, I don't think Bangladesh will have any kind of benefits. They already lost seven wickets and got 81 runs leads. Even if they can give a target of 150 from here, SA will win the match pretty comfortably.

But since this is a cricket match, the worst thing could happen as well. I don't expect South Africa to collapse like how Bangladesh collapsed. If nothing magical happens, then will have a result tomorrow and I guess everyone knows what is going to be the result.

There's no winning from here for Bangladesh. The best they can hope for is a rain that delays the match tomorrow and the day after. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is at 87 and he might get to his century otherwise, this is going to be another bad game for the team.
Bangladesh made a small score in their 1st innings and the 2nd innings score too isn't as big as South Africa yet. Anything below 150 of target, South Africa would move into aggressive mode and make it happen within 25 overs or so. Bangladesh had have a poor series after their win against Pakistan. They had poor Test and T20 results against India and now against South Africa.

Bangladesh had a disappointing performance in this test match and now in trouble after losing its seven wickets in 283 runs. South Africa bowling performance is amazing especially Kagiso Rabada who picked 4 important wickets and Keshav Maharaj also bowl good spell pick up 3 wickets. Bangladesh current lead is 81 runs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is playing well and scored 87 runs, very close to scoring a well-deserved century and just needs 13 more runs. Nayeem Hasan is also playing well at 16 runs, not out. This 8th wickets partnership between Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nayeem Hasanis very important for Bangladesh if they want to score a 150 plus runs target for South Africa. I think South Africa have good chances of winning this test match.

Bangladesh would have been able to win the match if they could have batted a little better in their first innings. If Bangladesh collect 200+ in the first innings, I believe Bangladesh would have won this match. But Bangladesh collected only 106 runs in the first innings. And now it is not possible for Bangladesh to give a big target.

The match is now being delayed due to rain. Perhaps the Bangladesh team will not get a chance to bat again today. Bangladesh managed to collect 283 runs after losing 7 wickets. Bangladesh managed to take a lead of 81 runs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is still at the crease with 87 runs. Bangladesh will probably be able to provide a target of 120-140 runs.

I am surprised how this match resembles close to the match between New Zealand and India teams that was held recently. When India were trying to recover in the 2nd innings, the rain came and then after that India lost their remaining wickets quickly. Here also we had a good partnership between the two Bangladesh batsmen and then the rain came to interrupt the game. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is batting on 77 runs and he deserves the 100 runs but i do not know if he will get support from the other end as already Bangladesh lost 7 wickets. Bangladesh now lead by 65 runs and that is nothing in the context of the game.

I am really impressed with the performance of Bangladesh today. At one point I was sure that Bangladesh would lose the match by innings. But Mehdi Hasan Miraj and Jaker Ali's amazing batting, Bangladesh is dreaming of victory. Mehedi Hasan Miraj has played such an amazing batting innings before, he has played an innings that turned the match around in difficult times for Bangladesh. His responsible batting today is a real example of that. I am not personally acquainted with Jaker Ali. I don't know him well, but he gave a very nice innings to Bangladesh cricket fans today. Although he is unproven in international cricket, we hope he will do well for Bangladesh in the future.

After such a beautiful innings of Bangladesh, I am definitely willing to bet for Bangladesh. The match is stopped due to rain, if Bangladesh can score at least 60-70 runs after the rain, it will be difficult for South Africa to win this match and they will surely regret it. The match was in Africa's favor till the 2nd day and the first session of the 3rd day. I was even optimistic that South Africa would win the match by an innings. But there are few people to bet on Africa now. If Bangladesh can give a target of 150 runs then South Africa's match win will be uncertain. For South Africa to win the match, Bangladesh will have to be all out within 300 runs. Otherwise there could be danger for South Africa.

Bangladesh team just lost the wicket of Jaker Ali. Jaker Ali returned to the dressing room after collecting 58 runs from 111 balls. Jaker ALi played a brilliant innings at a time when the team needed it. However, if Miraj and Jaker's partnership had been extended, Bangladesh would have been able to provide a descent target. Even if the Bangladesh team can somehow set a target of around 150, it will be difficult for New Zealand to win the match.

Miraj remains unbeaten with 77 runs. Nayeem Hasan managed to collect 12 runs. Waiting to see if the Bangladesh team is able to collect up to 350. Bangladesh has already managed to take a lead of 65 runs. And now the match is being delayed due to rain.

Bangladesh's lead is not big atm but Miraj and Jaker are grinding for their team. Proteas needs to regroup and try something different to break this partnership otherwise they could fuck this up rare opportunity, my money will be on Bangladesh if they set at least a 120-run target for Proteas.

I am familiar with his off field life and antics but imo Shakib the cricketer deserves respect.
