Well this was the last straw for me . I'm no longer going to be trading or investing in any exchanges or securities.

I thought I was avoiding illegal seizure of my money by keeping it out of banks. So much for that...so many scammers in Bitcoin in really hurts folks' ability to involve themselves in the economy if they have to worry about getting ripped off all the time, which apparently, they should be worrying about.

Ukyo takes over 2 million bucks and doesn't even feel enough pressure on him to even tell us what happened or why he stole it.  Just a "I'm in Cyprus now guys message thanks for waiting for your money you safely deposited to me !  Got to go hookers and blow here now thanks for your btc. Maybe in [+ (1-12 RND DAYS)] you'll hear an update about an update k thx.  "

I'll happily take this all back if I'm wrong....but this is following so many other scams' footsteps that it is hard to be optimistic, from experience.

From a non-involved perspective (never invested in his "exchange") and watching this thread, it really does look like he got away with stealing $2 million.

Everyone can hem and haw all they want, but at the end of the day, his actions (and inaction) speak volumes.

John McAfee is amazing! He'd fit right in the bitcoin world.

Indeed he is! I've read most of his blog and his activities. A true nutter and someone who is certainly not afraid of taking seemingly radical action for things that he believes in and to be right. Then again, he's got quite a bit of money I think. Added to that he's a near genius too!

It's a real shame. The updates still don't reveal much information about what is really going on. The fact that Ukyo is in Cyprus doesn't really imply that he's "fled the country" - yes it's a lot of money at stake but this is not really a movie. Without knowing who Jon is personally, I'm guessing that he's just a random regular day family bloke who has kids and who has set up a bitcoin business that is now in trouble. Him in Cyprus is probably to do a bunch of legal meetings, talk to managers / lawyers / whatever, to figure out the whole mess. I'd be extremely surprised if he's anything like John McAfee!

The lack of any real details and specifics is annoying. There's a constant promise that we will all greatly benefit from being patient - other than getting our bitcoins back, I'm a little skeptical of how much more we can greatly benefit over the situation - unless somehow a ridiculous amount of interest and compensation will additionally be included in the withdrawals - that would be nice. Highly doubt it though...

Apologies for the slight delay in getting this information out.

Jon (Ukyo) is now here with me in Cyprus to ensure this problem is resolved for everyone involved.

The bitcoins are simply not there anymore, we are continuing to work through the implementation of a number of solutions to correct the issue. We are hoping to have one of many very important announcements before the Christmas holidays that will enable the bitcoins to be returned to those that are owed, however the run up to the holiday period may cause delays in some aspects.

The solution will take time to pay everyone in full however, there will be no preferential payments and the payments will be distributed proportionally.

A full explanation as to why the bitcoins are no longer there, will be provided as soon as we possibly can.

Neo & Bee has no exposure to the liabilities of WeExchange. The solution will enable Neo & Bee and all of those involved in Bitcoin to benefit greatly in the future.

So why is Ukyo is Cypress, and Who is thi Danny/cryptocryprus guy? And who is Neo & Bee?  I've not heard of any of them before.

What a bullshit it now took 2 months to tell us the btc is not there anymore? Maybe it took two months to make sure we will never get them back and to hide them from authorial access or something like that. What an update, just what i expected from these guys...  Angry
