I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Not sure if you've heard the news, Lance's ankle is broken, he'll be going in for surgery tomorrow, and will miss the remainder of the season.

This is exactly why I don't like it when coaches priorities running ability when evaluating QBs.  I understand that Shanahan has a lot of tricky ticks he wants to run (literally) with a quarterback, but if any risk a broken ankle, they should be thrown out.
This worries me, I remember that when Garoppolo was at NE he got injured when he replaced Brady and I just thought it was bad luck, but then when the four game suspension came and he got injured again in a regular football play I immediately thought he was too frail.

Lance and Shanahan want to play a very physical form of football and the fact he got injured so soon after a play which looks like the hundreds we see every week should be a cause of concern, maybe the kid was unlucky but I do not like what it could mean for the long term prospects of Lance's carrer.

Looking at the stats from Week 1 and Week 2, Cows Reloaded had to face J. Allen and S. Barkley's crazy performances and when you thought it can't get any worse, then there's Lamar + T. Hill this week...it's like you don't even have a chance, quite unfortunate...but it's part of the game i guess.
Technically there was a slight improvement, @nutildah scored 171.48 Points on the Q/Cows Reloaded while @bbc.reporter only scored 171.32 Points, maybe next week @Hhampuz will only score 170 Points or something.  Tongue

Well, it looks like Josh Allen has you covered; 4 TDs and 317 yards after three quarters.  I wonder if he'll play anymore, this one just needs the fork.

This was almost the case but the stomping was so bad they took him out.

And whats funny is Tannehill was doing so bad, they took him out. 2 big INTs, one for a pick 6.

Buffalo D did a great job of stopping Henry, as well.

Yeah the fact that the Bills were kicking the shit out of the Titans ended up being a bad thing for my game versus hhampuz.  I have Diggs who was obviously going off, and the fact that they got up so big pretty much ended his chance for getting more points.

They did do an amazing job of keeping Henry in check.  The Bills are the real deal.  I would have to agree with bbc at this point and say that the Bills are hands down the best team in the NFL at this point.  Just image if they had a legitimate running back.

That's got to be embarrassing for the Titans after taking the top seed last year.  Losing to the Giants last week had to hurt, but at least that was a close game (and the Giants are better than they look on paper.)  But even at the hands of a top team, getting spanked like this should be a wakeup call.

In the other game, Minnesota is stinking it up pretty bad too, but at least the score isn't insurmountable.

Meh.

Yahoo yesterday: G. Davis is projected to get 13.6 points.

I know its on me to keep up with the reality of the situation. Oh well. Bah.

Always tough with Monday night games and if you have players you rely on playing in them, tough decisions week in and week out but that one was called late so I feel for you :/

I'm getting spanked bigly. I mean WTF, 26 points for defense, who does that LOL. And then this Green Bay guy running and catching and running. Oh well. Congrats DireWolfM14.

Yeah join the club, Hhampuz kicked my ass this week. Despite having a few big time players on my team going tonight, I have absolutely no chance in forging a comeback.

FYI to @everyone, if you’re interested in or have a need for a Quarterback, I’m considering putting Tua on the trade block. I could use an upgrade at my second RB position so I may be willing to pair Tua and a RB for an upgraded RB.

Bombay Bengals vs. Eli-2 Brady-0 looks to be the one to watch today, projections are close. J. Jefferson vs. half of the Bills roster.

Gabe Davis seems to be out.

Yeah I think I lucked out there.  Still need Jefferson to post something like a 7 catches /100 yards and a td to be comfy.  Allen can go bananas and Knox should pick up some of gabes targets.  Hoping for a defensive first game and an offensive second game.  Grin

WHAT TIMELINE IS THIS?  Cheesy

I was so close to landing a big parlay yesterday, all i needed was a Flacco interception, and the gamescript was great. The Jets were down big, as expected, Flacco had throw, and you know what that usually means. Instead, this guy throws two touchdowns in the final 93 seconds to complete an incredible comeback.

I had to sweat my Rams lock for no reason as well, a blocked punt for a touchdown, Kupp fumble, and an intentional safety in the fourth quarter to burn the clock, Falcons still had a shot...

GG to the Taysom Hill/ Mark Ingram owner Tongue ...really didn't expect it to be a blowout, but i'll take the win.

So glad I threw him in for Keenan.  Smiley

...for which your matchup this week will be forever grateful.  Grin

Weird how Keenan out gives all his looks to Williams and luckily I got to face him, what are those odds. Cheesy

Yeah I had Keenan out in some of my leagues.  Mike Williams is more a 1a option than wr2 on the team so it was no surprise he got a bunch of looks.  Here comes the injuries and the fun of the fantasy football season.  Here is where depth comes in play.

With that being said interested in the eagles/min game tonight.  Early in the season but they seem to be on the same level and could see them both in the wild card race come the end of year.  With that being said....go Justin Jefferson  Grin

It appears presently we have found out why San Francisco should always keep Jimmy Garoppolo hehehe. They should pay him more money. It was a mistake for Jimmy G to accept the pay reduction. Trey Lance might not be the franchise quarterback they want him to become. Justin Fields might have been the better pick for them.

Not sure if you've heard the news, Lance's ankle is broken, he'll be going in for surgery tomorrow, and will miss the remainder of the season.

Anyway, Jimmy G will make out just fine with his current contract.  The ~$7M was for warming the bench, any playing time comes with incentives.  I can't remember the exact details, but he'll be making significantly more now that he'll likely start the remainder of the season.

I hate to say it, but all of the sudden I'm way more confident about our chances of making the playoffs.

I saw him being carried out on the cart, however, I did not know he will be out for the rest of this season. My apologies to 49ers fans for laughing.

I like Jimmy G. The 49ers are very lucky that they did not trade him or let him go as a free agent. What if the Seahawks got him. This recent game would have been an action, drama and comedy show hehehe.

Sorry you're having a bad day.  TBH I expected this very thing to happen, but with the rolls reversed, lol.  Tampa's defense was FF superstar today, a pick-6 does wonders for the fantasy score.  Starting Christian Kirk was a good gamble as well.

I hope it's some consolation that the Lion's aren't winless, and it's only week two!

And as far as grabbing any gems off the giants you won't find any because theor is none lol.  I'm a realist, this was an anomaly to start the year.  They don't have any real good ff impact players on theor squad right now.  But hey who knows right:)

Saquon is keeper I think, but yeah, can't really think of any others, lol.  Nice win today, though, it's good to see the Giants undefeated, I hope it continues.  For some reason it always seemed extra exciting whenever the Niners and the Giants met in the Playoffs.  Not that it's likely to happen this year, but it would be fun.

In any case, @Southpark, it was a good weekend for the 2 of us. However, I was very lucky that Lamar had a very good game for fantasy hehe. Mike Evans would have destroyed my week 2.

@wheelz1200. The new head coach might be very good? I am presently looking at their team for some gems eheheh.

Trey Lance will be fine, he will get a full opportunity to run the team.  You don't waste a high #1 draft pick on qb only to play a Jimmy garafolo even though Jimmy is decent.  The front office will lose theor jobs for doing something like that.

My giants with a 2-0 start for the first time in 6 years!  I think every other year they've started 0-2.  Will they do anything in the long run...no but I might be able to watch them in October with them not already eliminated from the playoffs already.  😀🤤

In other news...Tua and that fins game was awesome!  Just glad football is back:)

@morvillz7z. What is the reference about the Chargers doctors? Hehehe, was it about puncturing the left lung of Tyrod Taylor?

Also, yes, a fracture anywhere essential to play is never good for the team. We have seen some players play with a toe injury, but somewhere around the rib area might need some rest from full contact and high impact.

Does anyone have betting suggestions for week 2? Thursday night football has not been very good hehehe.

There are still ways my team can fuck up this comfy lead.....now imagine if Kamara, Jameis, and Ingram (all three with Q tags) don't play against the Bucs, Hill will be throwing, blocking, and receiving passes by himself lol...just watch.

Herbert with fracture to rib cartilage, that does not sound too good, right!? Chargers have him listed as day-to-day, but i won't be surprised if he misses time.

Luckily for Justin Herbert, Chargers doctors have a great history when it comes to QB's and painkilling injections.

^Lol

Anyway, it was unfortunate for Herbert and the Chargers how things turned out in the end. They should have won, but the zebras had other plans, they had to keep Mahomes and the Chiefs in the game all game long with some truly questionable calls. MVS slamming his opponent to the ground - DPI, Bosa being held for 5 seconds no call -> penalties on both sides, overturned interceptions, and shit... I thought Mahomes was mediocre at best, should have ended with several interceptions, instead throws a side pass and everyone creams their pants, they should start giving 10pts for side-arm pass TDs, 15pts for no-look passes, and 20pts if he does a 360 in the air...gtfoh
