@suchmoon. In my short experience, I reckon 9 points is very easy in this game.

I sure hope so Smiley

In other news, Hueristic was looking surprisingly alive there for a while against DireWolfM14.

I any case, who wants a wide receiver? i want to trade A.J. Brown for another wide receiver. He might be useful on your bench or later in the season. I need someone who can score some points weekly.

You will win this with 2 players Ceedee Lamb and George left to play for your team. It is very surprising for me that I am presently leading our match up hehehe.

I need to make up 11 points with those two players. Given Kittle's (or niners in general) performance so far and the fact that Cowboys play Eagles who have been reasonably good in pass defense this year, I might be in trouble.

Let's see if the Rams can stop Brady and the Bucs, should be a good one!

They're doing a damn fine job so far... I should have started Stafford. Oh well. My match with bbc.reporter is painful to watch, incredibly low scoring.

LOL, my whole bench is outperforming by starters, I know it is unrealistic to always pick the best performers each week, but to make the wrong pick every single time? This requires skill. Roll Eyes

Still despite this I am not out of the game but I will require the starters which have yet to play to give good performances, and it will not hurt if someone scored some garbage time points as well.

It was neck-and-neck for a while but you caught a bad break when Gronk got crunched just now. You could still come back tomorrow during out battle of runningbacks, anything's possible.

Couple of upsets out there, a lotta great football was played, another great week for America.

Looks like the Raiders are gonna cover... Jacoby Brissett did better than I thought he'd do but he's a good year or two away from becoming settled.

Rams officially dominating the Bucs, didn't see that coming. The crowd is pretty stoked.

Edit: Fuck, Brissett tied it up at the end of the 4th, into overtime they go.

0-3 confirmed!  Grin

2-1 in the other forum league, Barkley finally scored a touchdown, but the Giants lost. Shepard, Slayton were both injured in the first half.

Some crazy endings, Tucker winning FG, which i believe is the longest in NFL history at 66 yards (bouncing off the crossbar and in).  Shocked

Chiefs 1-2 to start the season, i guess nobody saw that coming...

Wait who's Taco?

You need to put hollywood in!

Edit: shit popup made me post this too late anyway.

He dropped like 20 points worth of balls so far.

Unbelievable and he still has more points than Robinson!

I wanted to slap that fucking grin off his face when he dropped that third one.
Looks like he's stoned.

Dang looks like Dalvin cook is out.  And then Henderson isn't playing either.  Golloday probably out.  Here's where ff starts to suck trying to manage.

Cook simply cannot stay healthy...and despite missing those two guys, you're still projected to have more points than me Grin,  you gotta love those 8-team leagues, gl though!

I have a little something on the Giants game, Barkley to score TD + Shepard O3.5 receptions + D. Jones 20+ rush yards @3.10

Barkley has to score for me, it's now or never!

Falcons are bottom of the league in opp. red zone scores per game, also not a very good rush defense. The word on Golladay is that he will play but may receive less playing time/snaps/targets/whatever. Shepard should have a terrific day and has been Jones' top target to start the season. The Giants must win this game, can't go 0-3.

Gl, everyone!

Really, no one wants Trey Sermon?

ESPN thinks this is a better deal than e.g. Fournette  Grin

Lol, I think Fournette is more likely to play a whole game.

Fuck SF backs, I'm still not sure why I have Elijah Mitchell taking up space when AB is sitting there taunting me. Cheesy

It's tough row to hoe for Shanahan as well.  He just promoted a running back from the practice squad because he's getting so thin at the position.  I don't know who's available on the free agent market, but the 9ers are going to have a hard time with the running game unless Elijah Mitchel and Trey Sermon can stay healthy for the rest of the year.

Jesus, just looking at my bench I could field a killer team from that.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if my bench beats my team. Smiley

Do you mean the same casino in Reno wouldn't honor their ticket from Vegas?  That's weird.  I don't know if that's changed, the last time I gambled in a casino was 2001 during my brother's Vegas bachelor party.

I'm not sure if they even had that casino in reno but apparently the sports books from both cities were separate, news to me.

Yeah your ticket always has to be paid to you from where you placed it.  Even if if falls within the same group of casinos under one ownership.  What I didn't know is that you could mail it in, I didn't know that was even a thing.  How did they pay you after you mailed it in?

I had to wait for a check and I was really surprised when it actually showed up!

So on my other team I have a tough choice for flex (standard) Courtland Sutton,    Melvin Gordon III or George Kittle?

I'm rolling with Sutton unless you guys have a better idea.

BTW I'm gambling on Cordarrelle Patterson above all those so you guys can have a chuckle over that. Cheesy

@bbc.reporter, Fantasy Pros has a plugin for your browser that really comes in handy. Give it a try it will help you out alot. Wink

Which football team has a better secondary, the Buffalo Bills or the Miami Dolphins?

So you're trying to decide between Terry McLaurin and Henry Ruggs III? T. McLaurin is your guy. His ECR (expert consensus rankings) is #16 this week, while Ruggs is ranked #51 among all wide receivers, the rankings i'm looking at comes from fantasypros. McLaurin is WFT's number one option on offense, and he'll get his targets regardless of his opponent, 14 tgts last week which is pretty good. I doubt Ruggs will get more than 7-8 targets because Waller is their main guy.

McLaurin and Ruggs will both match against really good cornerbacks, Tre'Davious White (Bills) and Xavien Howard/Byron Jones (Dolphins)

you can compare individual players here: https://www.playerprofiler.com/

team defenses here: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2021/opp.htm

In short, it will be ludicrous to start Ruggs over McLaurin this week, or any other week.  Tongue Grin
