fun

Yeah fun for you guys... but that's not the word I'd use to describe my next 4 weeks Grin

I'm technically 3-0 but I'm gonna get crushed by an 0-3 team.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
I was going to post yesterday but I was too happy so I decided to post until today, FF is an odd beast, I do not remember ever being happy about the Cowboys scoring a single TD and yesterday I was really excited with the early TD by Zeke.

Anyway even if the performance of Zeke was impressive what really kept me in the game against the maddogs was the Broncos D and the LV kicker which scored 2 FGs at OT, this reduced the margin the maddogs had over the cows and increased the chances of a comeback.

BTW the first round of divisional match-ups is over, now we are facing the opposite conference so things should get even more fun. Grin

Honestly I can't blame you.  Outside of saquon everyone is a bench player especially with sterling shepherd out with an injury.  Danny is too volatile for ff.  And the receivers and TE spot is crud.  Only one I'd start is maybe the punter, they get some serious work in.

I drafted Barkley a few years back and he boned me the entire year.

Yeah understood and even this year it's tough to play him but if you drafted him you have to start him hands down.  No other back on the giants have a shot at any real run so he is always up for 10+ points on any given day.  But yeah the season ending injury first round ff players kill you every year.  That's the luck part of ff.

No doubt Rodgers is back in top form. Very costly time management lesson for 49ers.
Yep, I do not care what the sabermetrics say, or whatever name it has on football, there are players you do not give the ball back, as Joe Namath once said ‘Great quarterbacks do not lose games they just run out of time’ giving the ball back to Manning, Brady, Mahomes or Rodgers is a huge mistake, the 49ers should have ran the ball and give specific instructions to the RB to not score, then call a time out with 15 seconds left and try to score from that position of the field during the next 3 plays, after all GB had no time outs left so they were at their complete mercy and they let them live.

Yep well put.  There are a select few quarterbacks you give give ball back to.  Just knowing what will happen.  Either that or if the giants give the ball back to any quarterback at anytime they are pretty much in trouble.  I'm thinking if the giants can control the ball for about 58 or 59 minutes they should be able to squeeze out a win or 2 this year.  Gonna drop Judge an email and let him know 58 minutes of ball control is the critical number.

I broke my rule of never trusting a giants player this week, NEVER again!

Welp, I'm a capitol "L" LOSER!!!

Well join the club.  I am in three different leagues this year and I lost all 3 games this week.  It came down to the wire in one of my leagues where I was tied up and had Hurts and the guy I was playing had Dak, in another league I was down like 8.5pts and needed 9 from my kicker Greg the Leg for Dallas..and of course Dak destroyed the eagles and Dallas killed the eagles so badly they didn't even have a need to kick on single field goal  Angry Cry

Better luck to us this coming week.

Haha, I had him too and he even missed an extra point!

Both my RB1 and RB2 got hamstring injuries, what are the odds???

The third highest score in the league this week isn't good enough for the win.

It is confirmed the universe hates me. Cheesy

Not going to the casino friday might be a good idea.

It's the wire day again!!! Don't forget to make your picks so that I can't have anything I want again  Grin

I almost feel bad for the psychos, almost.  The third highest score in the league this week isn't good enough for the win.

On the bright side, I squeaked out a win with the second lowest score, which now that I think of it was very lucky. I should probably stop bitching about the wire.

Yeah that was a brutal loss for the niners.  Scored too quickly there at the end.  Crazy day, tucker nailing a 66 yard field goal.  Jags returning a missed fg for 109 yard td, giants being....the giants.  Looking forward to tonight's game.  Always love a good division fight game.

It's been over 24 hours so I'm calm enough to post in this thread.  I did hack out a rant with about 40 f-bombs, but I was too angry to find the post button.

Looks like I won unless CeeDee starts running the wrong way.

Now watching cows vs dogs, this should be good. 3 minutes in and Zeke already has a TD.

Ezekiel's got them wheels turnin' and the cows have run away with it.  I almost feel bad for the psychos, almost.  The third highest score in the league this week isn't good enough for the win.

WTF happened to the 126 point juggernaut from last week?  What, I'm the only one who gets "special treatment?"

LOL, obviously I can't run all my guys on cocaine every week.

@suchmoon. In my short experience, I reckon 9 points is very easy in this game.

I sure hope so Smiley

In other news, Hueristic was looking surprisingly alive there for a while against DireWolfM14.

I had Trey Sermon, however, I dropped him after week 2. He presently appears to be the main target for rushing the ball and appears to be very good. He has the talent but he was not given the opportunity on week 1 and week 2? I might add him back in my team hehe.
