Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
I am quite certain that this will be another losing week for me again hehe. However, did anyone watch the game? Does Will Levis really deserve to receive only 8 fantasy points for this week? I reckon he did more for the Titans than this 8 points.

He might also be a good replacement for Tua in the Dolphins because he likes to throw the ball very far. This will be good for Mike McDaniel's style. They also have a much better offensive line and wide receivers

I played Will Levis and dropped Howell last second on a fun team to replace Lawrance this week. W00ps

Good try but there is no way I'd play this guy in lua of Tua! Tongue

Minnesota got a great replacement for Cousins. Dobbs did a great job in dysfunctional Arizona. I could see Dobbs grabbing 18-20 points a week for fantasy easy when JJ comes back. I have 2 decent QBs so I can't use the guy, but those needing a QB better take a look.
The Cardinals got too little in my opinion, they traded for him at the start of this season for a 5th round pick and now they are getting a 6th but they gave away a 7th as well for a starting QB on the NFL, and while he had some issues I liked what I saw and it seems I am not alone on this, and taking into account what Dobbs may get in terms of personal at the Vikings I could expect his performance to improve, especially since the Vikings are still clinging to the hope of making it to the playoffs.

Agreed, Dobbs really is severely underrated and the Viking have an elite cast that they just lost a mid QB that that cast was elevating.

Dobbs should be able to step right in here as all he needs to do is not make mistakes and hes shown he is capable of that.

I would recommend downloading the app and checking it out.  Even if you're not signed up to run a team on Sleeper, they still provide a lot of helpful in season information/tools/quick links to podcasts and stuff like that.

I don't use smart phones as I abhor personal tracking devices but I keep one for emergencies so maybe I'll install the app if I can figure out how to install it on a degoogled phone.

Football trades are weird its not like nba or baseball.  Typically all football players are "worth" in terms of draft picks is somewhere between 5-7 rounders unless you are a crazy good talent with a team friendly contract.  Doubt is a very nice backup, but he can't lead a team to and through the playoffs.  If he gets there it will be more Trent dilfer style.  No shame in that dude is making a career out of this year.  And if it didn't work out I think he is some sort of rocket engineer and was going to work for NASA or something crazy like that lol.

You posted that pic from Sleeper, have you been using that app ?  I absolutely love it.  That's where my dynasty team is on and they are simply the best overall fantasy app out there right now.  I'm sure some big company will come in a buy them up and then ruin it..but it's really awesome right now.  They truly take the feedback given from the players and implement the stuff that is resoundingly wanted.

No, it was pointed out in a feed I subcribe to.

What a BORING ass game tonight! Titans versus the Steelers, talk about a snooze fest.  I guess there is at least a decent amount of impactful fantasy players playing, well a few..so that accounts for something lol.

Was secretly hoping the Vikings would trade for Jameis Winston, instead it's Dobbs...

Dobbs stock rising!

If I needed a QB, I'd be targeting him right now.

Congrats Mo, I thought I was gonna catch up for a second there!

Thanks, GG!

I didn't expect my lead to hold considering what Jacobs and Amon-Ra did in the first half. That 37-38 point lead i had was cut to 7. I guess i have to thank Jimmy G for not being able to keep the game close, Lions only ran the ball in the 4th Q wasting clock.

💀💀💀

The trade deadline is over, it feels like the Bears gave too much for Sweat (2nd rounder), while the 49ers scooped Young for a 3rd.

My Bears are an absolute joke. I mean I haven't heard anything about them getting some sort of commitment from Sweat for a mid-long term contract, which is of course the ONLY reason you would trade a likely high up 2nd round draft pick.  I think I'm over Poles, he's been doing a pretty half ass job IMO.

I have him in my dynasty league and pretty pumped about this trade.  Although the Vikings coach did say they are starting the rookie (I believe he's a rookie) and then would "see how things go from there". So, if he does ball out, he may not get a chance to play.  But..we shall see.

@moon nice game this week, congrats on beating me and holding off Keenan Allen from making any sort of last minute victory ( not that you personally did, but you know what I mean lol).

That was a close one, my WRs didn't do much nor did Taylor's boyfriend, but I got lucky with Dak.

But this season even if my players still give good performances they are inconsistent, then one week I get Robinson with a great week, but the next week he drops the ball and the one with a good performance is Harris and this gives me a lot of trouble as I am unable to select my optimal lineup.

Man, talk about inconsistent performances. Got less than 7 points this week from Mahomes.  Cheesy

And my RB2 that I had hoped would see more touches this week put up a whopping 2.1 pts. Turns out there's a reason why he was drafted by less than 30% of leagues.

So our matchup all comes down to how well Gibbs, your RB2, does for Detroit tomorrow. He's projected to get 18.42 and you need 22.77 pts to win. Which is not out of the realm of possibilities as he put up 24.6 in Week 7, and the Lions' premier RB, David Montgomery, is still sidelined with an injury.

Gonna be a nailbiter!
It seems Mahomes was sick which could explain his poor performance and he should be back and perform as usual during his next match so I would not worry about it.

And about Gibbs even if he were not to score enough to get me the win, I hope he does well since this will help me to finally figure out who is the best candidate on my team to occupy the RB2 position, also I am surprised by the performance of Zack Moss as he is still receiving some love despite Taylor finally taking snaps with the Colts.

Similar to when the 49ers found Brock Purdy, it appears the Titans have found Will Levis as a replacement for Ryan Tannenhill. Can everyone not get him from the waiver wire and give me a chance to get him?

So many good players with duds this week costing managers big time since we had like 6 teams on bye and points were needed.
Lol, I played three of those players last week, Gabe Davis, Ekeler and Robinson.

Finally my record is aligning more closely with my performance as a manager, however when looking to the previous season compared to this one I think the main problem is that I get no consistency out of my players, last year I could very much play the same squad week after week and still get top performance and this allowed me to do almost nothing and just enjoy the ride.

But this season even if my players still give good performances they are inconsistent, then one week I get Robinson with a great week, but the next week he drops the ball and the one with a good performance is Harris and this gives me a lot of trouble as I am unable to select my optimal lineup.

Well that's fantasy football for ya.  Nearly 20 years of experience now and every single season is a bit different.  That being said I do feel like I'm a bit cursed, the last few seasons I've had horrible luck when it comes to players getting injured.  It's one thing to lose a player for a few weeks, but losing a star player for the entire year within the first couple weeks..brutal.

Decently interesting game tonight.  The Bills should wax the Bucs, but there's some fun star power/fantasy relevant guys playing, so it'll keep my interest at least.  Not sure the Bills will cover the high spread though.

@ChiBitCTy. Agreed! The Dolphins offense is clearly one of the best and the most risk taking in the NFL, however, Eagles defensive team might be enough to stop some them from scoring many points. Also, I heard the comment that the Eagles are having difficulties in the redzone and this is true, however, he did not say that the Dolphins are also one of the worst in defending in the redzone hehehee.

In any case, there was a turn over for Miami as I create this post hehe.

Also, I have my 2nd win in fantasy! I am very happy with this hehehe. I still have chance to enter playoffs!

Miami got hit really hard with injuries to their offensive line.  No line no running game or enough time to protect the qb long enough for route trees to finish.  Miami depends on a lot of time for these things to come together.  I like their offense but if their line can't hold up achane will have issues too once he comes back.

Yeah I'm not sure I'm feeling the Dolphins as much as I was now.  Their defense isn't the greatest either and seems to falter against pretty tough teams.

While I did have a solid victory in this league, finally, I also went 5 for 6 in all of my fantasy football leagues this week.  However when it comes to my bets, let just say I had for too much faith in the Detroit Lions.  I should know better being that my team is also in the NFC North.

Lol yeah that was a complete dud.  In terms of betting I can't nail down the nfc north or the nfc south.  Just can't figure those teams out.  Seems like those divisions are wide open in terms of who will be hot come December.  It's been an odd year in terms of betting.  Less and less parity which seems to make the games more fun to watch.  Either that or I'm just getting worse at betting lol.

Well I can tell you one thing for sure, the Chicago Bears are not the best team in the NFC North, nor do they have any chance on gods green earth to make the playoffs lol.  That being said I am a bit surprised at their recent victories.  Honestly it's at a point right now where I can't help but root against them in hopes of getting those top picks.  That said, if Justin Fields ends up coming back and tearing it up..I'll have no problem with that.  Hell even if the Bears get the first pick, do they meet all of Caleb Williams qualifications (dude sounds ridiculous).
